A fourth is walking close by Berrus, tugging at his trousers with its small hands. Berrus notices that the fingers are tipped in small but sharp claws, much like their pointed and sharp teeth. The last of the little creatures is walking hanging of a branch by its tail, close by it's leader, who is communicating with Shae via screeches.

Shae would approach the curious monkey grabbing at the gear on the disc, "Can I help you find something?" she'd nibble on her lip a little, hoping no one gets offended by the mammals curiosity. Though, she could understand how it could look, and that they could be subject to some petty left.
Following the newly formed monkey train Maxine tried to get something out of the jungle around and behavior of their long tailed conductors. Perception 4 As expected - in vain.
Faekin, looking at their new found friends, Faekin goes over to Shae and tells her with some magic in his voice "What ever your plan is, I beleave you did the right choice, I think you will handle this perfectly fine" (I used a bardic inspiration on her just now)
Faekin now lowering his voice so only she can hear it and whispers "Just saying but should we need it, I am capable of, well with some magic, to charm animals, so if we find out who their leader is, I could Charm him if it is of use, just let me know"
The party, led by the monkey, advances through the dense jungle, until they reach a small but deep ravine, covered by a large tree that had fallen across it. Half the monkeys quickly covered the tree, waiting for Shae, the Professor and Thessalandra to cross the tree as well.
Please give me a dexterity check for crossing the tree safely.

Shae would smile with reassurance as she watched Berrus pat a monkey and the others nonchalantly carry on with the new party members. She too would observe the monkeys as we travel through their habitat, specifically what they eat and drink if some do pause to gather or snack while waiting for us slow humans.
“Thank you Faekin.” She’d nod her head in thanks, “I can’t say I had a plan...” a nervous chuckle would escape her lips, “I just hope for the best.” She’d look up to the leader monkey while responding to Faekin’s suggestion, she’d respond quietly back to him “Thank you. I will keep that in mind. Though, I’m personally a fan of free will and I don’t think it would be necessary here.” Shae would smile politely.
Shae would take a deep breath to focus herself and her balance, hoping she can cross this tree with no issues.
As Shae slips, she begins to fall, when suddenly she slows down, and manages to glide across the ravine, holding on to the sheer cliffs on the other side. She would have to climb up the slick walls, but at least she was still alive.
Please give me a Strength (Athletics) roll to determine whether you manage to climb up onto the other side.

Professor S calls out in shock as Shae slips and begins to fall, then sighs in relief as his spell takes hold and she begins to glide to the other side. Meanwhile, Maxine scampers across before he can say anything.
Recovering a bit, he calls out, “Shae, are you okay? Maxine, can you lower her a rope?”
Turning to Bertrand, he says, “That looks a bit dangerous...Perhaps with one person safely on the other side we can throw a rope across and tie it off so people have something to hold onto on the way over?”
He then berates himself mentally, thinking, “You have these monkey allies, you should have thought about asking them to help out with the rope before she fell...”
Faekin after seeing Shae fall, Faekin shouts "Go on, imagine being a monkey climbing up the rope, swift easy without thinking" (Once again a Bardic inspiration 1d6)
Now he himself tries to get over the log, just before he cast his Mage Hand Cantrip that helps him stabilize him a bit should he need it.
If he gets safely over the log he orders his Mage Hand to help Maxine, for example checking if a part of the stone wall is stable by pulling on it or handing her the rope, sth like that

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Shae, Berrus, the Professor and the Captain all manage to shake the effects of the psychic scream unleashed by the monkey creatures surrounding you, but Nhar crumples to the ground, his face distorted by sheer horror, pain, and despair. Falx still remains standing, but his eyes are wide in shock, and he looks pale, almost catatonic. Before he can react, the screaming monkey on the disc tries to rake across Faekin's exposed throat, and the Monkey at Berrus'feet leaps up to try and rend his face with its sharp claws. Zip and the Professor get attacked by the two monkeys towards the back, whilst Shae and Maxine get cornered by the two monkeys on the other end of the ravine.
Faekin: 11 to hit, for 5 slashing damage
Berrus: 23 to hit, for 10 slashing damage
Zip: 10 to hit, for 7 slashing damage
Professor: 17 to hit, for 5 slashing damage
Shae: 17 to hit, for 7 slashing damage. Damage dice doubled, since it's a crit, for a total of 10 damage.
Maxine: 16 to hit, for 5 slashing damage
Whilst most of you manage to cover any exposed parts with your padded or otherwise armoured gloves or forearms, Shae is fully exposed to the attack from the Monkey since she has been busy climbing out of the ravine, and she takes a deep gash across the shoulder.
