The Professor sets himself on top of the rain barrel and watches the Alpha crocodile, timing the closest approach of the creature. “Ranged attacks, prepare....NOW!” He shouts as he shapes the water away from the front half of the croc and hurls his Flaming Sphere at the creature—hopefully opening a clear shot for the arrows, bolts, and ranged magic of his allies:

(And when it is Maxine's turn? Looks like she missed a round)
The walking pin cushions (and future boots) kept running away - that was irritating, Maxine had plans on the small now-rotten crocodile, yet, it escaped! She followed movements of the big alpha and sent another bolt in it's direction: Attack: 21 Damage: 9

Fangs spirit falls even further then it was as he watches yet another arrow flying straight and try to its mark only to have it skitter off the beasts hide a second time. ‘A tough beastie this one is’ Fang thinks to himself knocking another arrow. Steadying his aim and taking a breath as before carefully watching the movement of the croc. Hearing Glasses call to action releases his arrow as he releases his breath ...
OOC: I apologise, I must have messed up somewhere in the initiative order.
The large crocodile is taken by complete surprise as the water around it all of a sudden is pushed to the side and it drops several feet to the swampy ground below, before being hit by Maxine's magic crossbow bolt and the Professor's flaming sphere.
Thanks to the communication, Maxine and Fang are both able to lead their shots, and as soon as the crocodile falls, she places the bolt right into the side of the creature's neck, followed by Fang's arrow into the soft underbelly of the creature. It roars in pain, an as it opens its maw, you can see the bolt penetrate into its mouth. The Alpha looks very hurt and confused, but most of all angry.
Another turn by Maxine to make up for her missed round, and then Shae!

Shae was in a bubble, and unless otherwise directly called for, she was not present outside of what her hands were doing. Once she finalized stabilizing Cliff’s leg the medic would then grab hold of Bertrand to stop him from going too far. This time she’ll spend the necessary attention and efforts to focus on his previous wounds, hopefully making up for her poor assistance prior. Shae will be sure to review if he’s strained anything by pushing himself while assisting Cliff, the actions that reminded her to refocus on her job.
Shae, finding confidence in her magic once more, grabs a hold of the probably concussed Bertrand. Looking him over and checking in, he seems to clear up, feeling significantly better again. Maxine meanwhile fires off another shot at the Alpha, and even though it was submerged in the water, her bolt finds the target, confirmed by the head of the beast breaking the surface in an angry roar. Being badly hurt and still no closer to any food, the Alpha, now submerged in water again, rapidly swims towards the berm, and the noisy dwarven warrior atop it. With a splash of murky water, the large alpha bursts forth, ready to bite at Berrus.
Berrus, for your discussed reaction, I want you to give me a d20 roll, adding your dexterity modifier and your proficiency. If they beat the Alpha's AC, your plan works, at least for this round.

Trying to bite down with full force, the Alpha's maw is kept open, and although Berrus is being thrashed about, taking 4 damage, the alpha is unable to strike at him with its tail.
Professor and Fang, you're up! Any attack agains the Alpha has advantage, since Berrus is keeping the beast occupied. Professor, you reckon that Berrus is close enough that he would be burnt too by the flaming sphere.

No reason for asking, of course, but is the Alpha’s mouth open wide enough to accept a Flaming Sphere?
Note: Anyone who ends their turn adjacent to the Flaming Sphere has to make the save, but my guess is you meant that if I move it to burn the croc, it will hit Berrus too.

Feeling an overwhelming sense of relief at watching his arrow find its mark. Fang readies another arrow. Taking care to time his release to hit the giant croc and not his foolhardy companion being thrashed about that seemingly doesn’t like ‘overgrown lizards’

More worried about Berrus being eaten than singed a bit by the Flaming Sphere, the Professor swings the Flaming Sphere around on the far side of the croc, slamming it into the Alpha (if you end your turn still next to it, Berrus, you will take fire damage). He then reaches out with his magic to redirect Fang’s missed arrow towards the eye of the thrashing Alpha croc.

Fang feels a bit better about his miss, seeing the arrow redirected by glasses. ‘Hopefully he doesn’t have to do that too much more’ Fang thinks to himself, readying another arrow.
Fang and the Professor act nearly simultaneously, with the Flaming Sphere crashing into the far side of the Alpha Croc’s head a fraction of a second before the arrow can strike true. The critically wounded beast rears it’s head up and roars in pain and anger, causing Berrus to be bodily lifted off the berm as his shield rings like a massive steel drum from the cacophony.
Unfortunately, the croc’s sudden motion causes Fang’s arrow to streak under the beast’s upraised snout, and it flies off into the night...until the Professor reaches out and grabs it with his magic, redirecting it to the back of the croc’s skull where it impacts just at the base of the creature’s brain stem. The mortally wounded croc suddenly falls to the ground with a thunderous thump, its now-lifeless body shooting a wave of dirt and swampy water to both sides as Berrus thuds back the the earth wearing the scaly behemoth on his shield.

Finding itself without the Alpha and clearly outmatched, the third crocodile turns in the water, and disappears below the murky waves beyond the light of your camp fire. The quiet that follows is only cut through by the heavy panting of you all, catching your breaths, and the occasional whimper from Cliff, when some uneven bit of terrain causes him to jerk his injured leg. You keep careful watch out into the night for another ten or fifteen minutes, before you start to relax.
The carcass of the Alpha is already halfway up the berm, but the smaller crocodile that was half-corroded by Maxine's alchemy has dipped below the waters. All of you have only slept or rested enough for a short rest, but if you returned to sleep now, you could still get your required rest to feel fresh in the morning.
OOC: Everyone earns 250 XP!
Berrus, you suffered the full damage from the flaming sphere, since you where fixed in place by the beast. I subtracted it from your character sheet already.
