Curse of Strahd

Skorn approaches the gate again. We are leaving. Let us out, and we shall not return.

The mongrels open the gates and let you all out. As you all fall out past the gates they shut behind you abruptly and quite unnerving.

So where are you guys off to?

 Yes these are guards at the top of the gate

Manneo is at the gate , the others have gone past the gate and would like to start the journey back to the camp. Is everyone good to go?

(Yeah let's go then I thought this was a different gate)

You all follow the Old Svalich Road, it is getting darker now but some hugh of lite shines through the dark clouds above and the trees seem to grow over you as you move at a hurrid pace

You see a weatherworn signpost next to the road. The three arms of the sign point along the three branches of the road. The arm pointing east reads Vallaki, and the road slopes up gradually in that direction. The arm pointing southwest reads The Wizard of Wines. The road slopes gently downward in that direction.

Skorn keeps moving towards Vallaki and the camp.

Manneo - Seeing the sign and the road says, "Well...we either go up or down...from personal experience it would be easier to go up and then if we decide we don't like what we find there we can head to the other direction and not feel as winded since going down hill is easier. What do all of you want to do?"

Skorn, realizing everyone else stopped, turns back a little ways down the road. I think we should get back to the camp as quickly as possible. At least we know it is....relatively friendly.

You all hear a whisper coming from the south road getting closer to you

Mr. Greenleaf - Unlatching his bow from his bag Flyn will point two fingers towards his eyes and one in the direction of the sound before whispering "Given our current luck in this place we might want to hid, something is coming."

Skorn shakes his head vigorously. The creatures here are stronger at night. We should keep moving...get to safety. We can outrun it if we keep moving.

You can see a hooded figure approaching your party as you deligate
