Rollo looks quite angry once he's denied entry. "Will I? What you're saying is that even though I have free will again, which you can confirm as you saw the vampire destroyed, you don't trust me. Narz just stares flatly back at Rollo. "There it is again. That misplaced anger." The hobgoblin sighs. "To be honest, I do not care if you actually do forgive me or not. It was spoken more out of ritual than desire for a favorable response. But if you think free will is fully yours because the vampire was destroyed, I'm afraid that you are gravely mistaken... Or that there's been some misunderstanding. For that much, I suppose there's a bit of an apology in order." He clarifies and folds his hand behind his back. "But what I do is to limit temptations in the night directed at those that would help you. My knowledge of vampires is limited, but their thirst is well known and legendary. You might feel sated for the time being from the fourteen lives you've taken today, but it won't be enough forever, assuming you weren't able to show some restraint earlier and put your new fangs to work. So, think of this as a precaution for now, and nothing more."
He started to turn away on that note but stopped short and looked back to Rollo. "Or if you are that determined to see me in 'that' light despite all I've done, then see it as a test. The others-..." He looks to everyone else. "-are of course welcome to stay outside along with you, increasing the... difficulties of this 'test'. But you would be better serve being at least somewhat able to use this night as a chance to test your limits with fewer distractions. Truly get used to some of your abilities and changes, least you fall prey to them later.... Or am I wrong, eh?"
Rollo looks like he's about ready to take the wizards head off with his fist. "I ate no one and I will eat no one. Every one of your kin was killed with the sword on my back, as will everyone from here on out. If you insist on seeing me as a monster then perhaps it is best we dispense with the false pleasantries and speak plainly. You do not trust me because you think I am a monster who cannot control himself. I assure you, I am just as much out of control now as I was before. I am a man of rage, always have been. I will tear apart our enemies or myself before I ever attempt to eat any of you. Should test change, I will walk into that river over there and do what I wanted to in the first place. If that is not enough for you then perhaps we should not work together anymore. If you do not trust me now, why should you trust me when you need me?"

Narz, much as he'd been in the case with the Torsus' nightmarish images and the very prospect of walking the gallows, kept his expression largely neutral. But no longer would he hold his hands behind his back, but rather kept at his side. At the same time Vigo, the Worg mount and occasional bodyguard of the wizard, got up and began a low warning growl at the man, ready to pounce at the slightest motion of Rollo making a move for the master.
"... Although as I understand it, you intended to reveal something of your nature, I did not go behind your back when I could've and plotted your destruction. I confronted you, placing trust where there should've been none, considering what you later went on to do.... And where it came to the matter of your execution, and though my life had already been forfeited by that point as far as I'm concerned, I did not press for your destruction, as much as you yearned for it. Rather, I left open a chance for you to redeem yourself... with the aid of others. Trusting that you would see things through to the end on my behalf." He said calmly, and at that point placed a hand on Vigo, prompting the beast to stand down, if only a bit.
"And even now, rather than making the crass demand that you 'prove' yourself in taking that dip and stay until we say otherwise, I am standing here conversing with you. Trusting in you, man of rage, to have enough control for a civil conversation. If I at all thought you purely a monster, we would not be having this discussion." His eyes narrowed with the final point. "Trust and foolish blind faith are two very different things, Rollo. All I asked was for some security while you -truly- come to understand your circumstance over a night. Perhaps even two. For what has happened to you is not the same as the rage you've learned to live with and 'control'... All I've 'politely' asked deSPITE being met with insults of my intelligence and character.... that you trust what I request is necessary and reasonable."
"I will not be coerced, bullied, or insulted into doing anything less. I will not be your excuse to go back your words and paying your due as promised."
"So all I am to you is a potential threat, never a friend ever again. Fine, if you are just waiting for the threat then you shall have it." Rollo takes a step forward and draws the sword from his back, clearly more angry than you've seen him outside of the rage he fights with.

Aeyd fell back into silence while her dark brown hues locked onto whoever was speaking at the time. Her expression would remain rather serious, only nodding along to some things being said. She was welcome to assist Torsus on breaking the contracts that binded him to his masters, though would agree wholeheartedly with Claire's request. His defiance made their job a lot more difficult, and if he continued as such with any authoritarian figure they may have to do business with, then problems were definitely going to arise.
With the conversation seemingly coming to a close, the monk moves from her place briefly, pointed ears twitching slightly when she hears Narz deny Rollo entry to the dome. Her brows furrow as she approaches carefully, only to quickly impose herself between the two men when Rollo draws his sword. "There will be none of this!" She shouts sternly to the two, giving them both looks of disappointment. "While I doubt we can convince Narz to let you inside the dome tonight, I will stay outside with you, Rollo. At that point it is with a grunt of effort that Narz takes his hand away from the tool. "But there is no need, Ayed. The dome shall be done away with altogether." Narz looked up, and with jaw clenched he narrows his eyes at the Rollo. Not once since meeting the hobgoblin has anyone ever truly seen him as borderline angry -- not just mildly annoyed or frustrated, but genuinely roused to anger at anything or one. Yet if he had some retort to add, those words are swallowed like a bitter pill, as he soon turned away shaking his head. Eventually if left to his own devices, Narz' veneer smooths into by all accounts truly calm one once more while finishing up any other nightly task, including checking up on his injuries.
But he refused to engage with anyone further that night of his own volition. And whereas the usual paranoia of keeping his weapons near and free to use in a pinch in the night, regardless of any magical protections or lack thereof, remain unchanged, he slept more upright against Vigo's side, and Spaz just a smidgen more alert than usual regarding anyone or thing noticed in the night.

The night is cold but uneventful. Rollo takes the first watch, able to see in the dark much more clearly than he had been able to in life. Luckily his did not feel the pangs of hunger, tonight anyway. Claire takes the final watch and soon you're little camp is packed and you all continue your journey, eager to get to the next town before the end of day.
Its late after noon when begin to enter the town of Red Larch, a small but growing mining village with a single main road that contains most of the towns homes and businesses. Several side roads wander off to the hills in the north where several quarries mine stone for the area and as you approach you pass several workers on their way home after a day of hard labor. This makes it much easier for you to find the local watering hole in the center of town. The Helm at Highsun appears to be a two story ramshackle tavern where most of the locals seem to be spending their evening. Across the street is the actual Inn, a three story stone structure crowned by a steep slate roof that bristles with many chimneys. The sign calls her the the Swining Sword.
Dakkurz looks at the Sword with relief and stretches. Alright! A proper bed will be nice I think. I've been here before ya know. Not the biggest fans of goblinkin but my charms have never failed me so we should be good. This town has everything we might need to. General goods, clothes shops, a place to buy and build wagons, armor and weapons smiths and even a bathhouse. The Sword can stable the mounts and we can hop over to the Helm for a fun time. Oh and Rollo, Dakkurz elbows him, If you were interested, the all faiths shrine is right next door to the Inn.
Just south of the inns stable yard stands what looks like a stone mansion. Two wide wooden doors carved with the symbols of many gods stands open. Maybe a priest there can help you. She shrugs. Up to you.

Narz merely grunted at first, as much of his attention had remained on scanning the town and mentally noting any potential hostiles. "Business before pleasure. Which, uh... which one deals in general goods? Or at least in rations. Seems supplies are a bit low in that area." He eventually turned to ask. But even once armed with the knowledge, Narz heads first for the Sword to see about stabling and paying for rooms, trusting the others to figure out their own next order of business and not draw the attention of some other old evil lurking beneath the surface of the town. Or maybe he hadn't, and just didn't care at this point. The hobgoblin's demeanor hardly improved by much since awakening that morning, as he remained just as taciturn prior to finding his rest.
(To Urben: Compiled a list of things Narz would like to purchase around town in the event it can be relegated to background things done while people do their own thing. I included a persuasion check on the off chance it seemed necessary given the general disposition shopkeepers have to goblinkin)

(Going to handle Rollo first then make a seperatr post for Narz. If others want to make a list of items to shop for feel free I don't expect we'll be in town long. Just enough to let Rollo talk to the priests and Dakkurz to take her leave.)
Inside the shrine Rollo finds two priests, a young looking human woman with pale skin and dark black waist length hair who is sweeping the floor and a male, heavily muscled dark-skinned with short cut hair and a thick beard who seems to be organizing various tomes.
The woman is closer to the door and sees you first and greetd you. She wears a robe of red and gold silk as well as a ring depicting a red-haired woman. Ah, Welcome to the All-faiths Shrine pilgrim. My name is Lymmura Auldarhk. If you're looking to pray please choose any of the alcoves along the walls here. All faiths are recognized here but if you're looking for anything specific please feel free to ask myself or one of the other priests.
"I was a priest of Tyr, now I am an undead abomination. What do you suggest for that?" Rollo replies with a slight hint of jest in his serious tone. "And before you worry, the master is dead so I am in control of myself again."

The proprietor of the inn is a human woman in her 40's. Her the rest of her staff are dressed ina surprisingly refined manner what you may have expected of a mining town and the interior is decorated with several fine linen curtains and the light kept dim to maintain a comfortable atmosphere. Dakkurz accompanies you and the two seem to get along quite well. The two swap rumors and gossip, none of which is of any particular interest but you can see why Dakkurz would indulge her. If anyone knew of anything going on that needs a mercenaries touch this would be the woman to ask and as long as you have your own tea to spill in return.
However for now it seems all the local gossip is refreshingly mundane. Finally you get to the matter of rooms. You can get a room with a bed for two for 2 gold each. Right now all 4 rooms are available. Each room has a hearth, tapestries and warm curtains as well as running water and a private garderobe. Alternatively the top floor has several bunks for a silver a person, cheap but lacking privacy or amenities. Stables will run you a gold a night per animal and includes feed.
Once rooms are settled Dakkurz directs you to two shops, Vallivoes Sundries, run by a former caravan merchant, and Gaelkurs, who deals in used tools and goods but also doubles as the towns barber. Feed can be purchased from the stablehand at the inn (standard item cost for everything btw)
Between the two you're able to find the flasks of oil, hemp rope, the rations, the lantern, components pouch and the waterskin.
For clothing you are directed to Helvar Tarnlar who runs a clothing shop near the center of town. She is able to provide you with all the furs you need to stay warm over the winter though she will have to make some adjustments to make it comfortable. Once you pay for the clothes she promises to have it delivered to the inn before you leave.
(If anyone has anything they want to buy including the winter clothing feel free to say you joined Narz. I trust you to manage your own gold. If there's a question of what a store may have please ask.)
The priestess looks at you in disbelief and the priest across the way takes notice. You notice him put down his books and pull grab a battleaxe from behind the nearby dais which is engraved with symbols of Tempus. He puts the head of the axe on the ground to allow him to lean on the hilt. He looks to the priestess who looks back and simply shakes her head in disgust before looking back to you, a mask of confusion on her face.
Please ignore the oaf behind me. I understand this is just some sort of...joke or metaphor perhaps right? You see her quickly cast a spell that you recognize is meant to determine you're nature. When the spell finishes she goes wide eyed again and takes a step back. Sune have mercy you're not joking. The priest takes and step forward and readies his axe but the priestess stops him with a raised hand. Imdarr wait! Vampire, what is your name? When were you turned? How certain are you that whoever turned you is truly destroyed and when was the last time you fed?The priestess seems to be trying to remain calm but you can clearly hear a hint of fear in her voice. "If your friend feels the best thing to do is to end me then let him do it, I will not fight a holy man for doing his duty.

Narz:
Rollo:
"I am quite certain the bastard is dead, I felt the magic release and my friends were the ones who did it. My name is Rollo Ragnarson. I was turned two days ago and I have never fed, for I refuse to attack someone undeserving." Rollo holds his hands away from his sides to show he is not going to attack. "If your friend feels the best thing to do is to end me then let him do it, I will not fight a holy man for doing his duty. If you do kill me then please at least have the courtesy to take my things to my friends. They'll be the group at the inn with two hobgoblins."
