Nadias words fall on deaf ears as the Goblin doesnt seem to back off. Meanwhile, Nadaar attempts once again to stab the self proclaimed Goblin king but fails to punch through the chain shirt. Hark frantically swings his sword in a desperate attempt to cut himself free. But wild swings get him no where as he averts his gaze anticipating what to come.
Meanwhile the Goblin guard, still intent on getting through to rescue Hark, tries once more to cut through Nadia and managing to get a decent hit in the attempt. "Stupid elf. Your fault we stuck here. Die or move!" The Goblins shouts are abruptly ended however as the head of an arrow come bursting forth from the guards neck. She slumps over to the ground and the two other Goblins cheer their victory.
Zack took only long enough to take stock of the situation, it seemed that those two and one other unseen one were likely more or less on their side, or atleast against hark, and the one he had intended to target had just fallen. Zack slipped out from where he was slipping past Nadia and Nadaar with one of the iron spikes.... Seeing where hark was thanks to the light from Nadaars spell and a blue aura suffused his body, bleeding into the spike without him even realizing it. Blue flames licked the surface of the spike as he angled it around Nadaar..... Attempting to stab Hark once and for all. If hit, the flame would flow over Hark and lash out at the wall, leaving a scorched mark in its place.
The spike strikes Hark right in the face. He screams as blue flames burn and scar his flesh but this only lasts a few moments before he falls limp in Nadaars grasp. Snigbat waits to see if anything else happens before cheering. "Haha Hark dead! Took you long enough! Can feed him to The Blob." Meanwhile from the Goblin that dealt the killing blow to the bodyguard calls out "stupid Ogre still stuck in tunnel. Block way out. Have to go around"
Nadaar go wide seeing Hark suddenly die in his face. Realizing who the culprit was after, he cannot help grinning and trying to pat Zack on the shoulder. "Well done, my compatriot. It seems your are getting more a handle on that strange magic of yours. Good! We'll be needing it short."With a final pat, he focuses on looking over Hark's corpse of anything that might be a use.
"Snigbat mentions Blob?"He asked in goblin during his search without looking up; thus far, unconcerned of the Ogres managing to break their way through any time soon. "Hm... You tell more about blob latter. Right now, Stupid Ogres not like Hark is dead. Stupid Ogres need deading. Snigbat? You lead us way around, and we take care of Ogres. We do this, while other goblins keep them distracted here by shooting them. Then we see gather goblins and see about goblin future, yes? One better than where Hark lead at least. Or does Snigbat think we convince Ogres to calm down, and not eat anyone else?"At that point, he finally looks up to the goblin, appearing genuinely interested in his next words.
And in spite of the clear injuries all would need tending to.

As you search Hark you find that he is carring almost nothing of particular value of interest besides his weapons and armor, a scimitar, a javelin and a chain shirt sized for a small creature, likely meant for a halfling. However he has no potions, no gold, no keys or gems, with the exception of the small amount of gold you gave Gum-Gum who then gave it to Hark (10gp I think?). However you know the other Goblins have been paying him tribute. Since it's not on him you can reasonably assume he keeps his valuables else where in the cave, likely close at hand.
From the tunnel you can hear quite a commotion. The Ogre seems to be attempting to push himself free, having gotten himself stuck. You can hear another Ogre chastising him for his stupidity while several Goblins laugh at the sight. When asked about whether the Ogres should live or die, Snigbat quickly answers "Ogres belong to Hark. Only listen to Hark. Need kill them or they become big problem. Blob not be problem. Ogres problem. Take other tunnel from Harks room. It lead back to big area."

(This is the first time Zack has 'manifested magic' in front of you Nadaar :x, you weren't in the room when the shield happened either)
Zack would look confused as the iron spike glowed blue-hot, yet didn't harm him or the weapon itself.. though it had done a number on Hark. Zack was unsure of what exactly had happened. He realized then that when the rat had attempted to bite him that last time that something similar had occurred, he had felt an aura suffuse him for a short period of time, and though he had felt the jaws trying to close, the force had repelled it before it actually hit home. Each one taking on a color. At the time, he hadn't noticed it, but one of the sphere things in his arm seemed to glow in correspondence until the .. 'magic' faded or whatever this was...Sorcery? Some inherent power? Or was it the result of something else? he thought to himself, not quite sure, and in that moment, Nadaar mentioned that he was gaining control of it What the heck do you mean man? I've never used magic in my life. I'm a warrior... A fighter, I'm not cut out for that kinda stuff... And how do you know it's magic? This is the first time I've ever used whatever it is... Either way right now aint the time to discuss that... And what are you saying to them?
Zack can likely hear at-least some of the commotion from down the tunnel, he moves over to look at what's going on, and can't help but sicker to himself despite the situation. They look about as dumb as they are strong atleast... pulling out another gold coin, he takes it so his toss will likely make it roll on it's side, and attempts to make it so the coin rolls between the ogre's legs... Flinging it hard so it would be difficult to catch for the ogre or anyone behind it. (Athl: 24)
In the meantime, waiting for Nadaar's reply he adds Nadia did say something about a cave to the south didn't she?... Speaking of.. I need to go get soemone, and let them know it's safe..ish to come out. I'm gonna try to find the south tunnel Nadia mentioned. I'd suggest hurrying along though. as eventually they'll find a way through and There's really nowhere else to go... he says as he heads back to the place where the lady in waiting had been, his hand tracing along the wall to see as likely Wonder had headed back to her master and left the tunnel area by now, leaving the spot darker than it had been, and wearing on his eyes... Managing to carefully make his way back into the tunnel he would say Hey uh... Daphne was it? Gonna be frank with you about the situation, as the last thing we need is you screaming in surprise... I dont know who, but someone was being eaten by the now dead rats... it might be better if you don't look. Also there's a couple ogres trying to get into here, but the goblin leader is dead. My friend Nadia, said she spotted a tunnel to the south. I'm not sure where it goes but I think it's the only way out without needing to fight. So I'm gonna need you to take a deep breath, calm down for a moment, and stay as quiet as possible, kay? We're gonna do what we can to save the villagers too but right now we need to regroup and plan. So come on, take my hand... And we'll get out of here. he says with a confident nod and a smile, hoping to belay any potential worries she might have. Taking back his waterskin with whatever was left in it.
Thinking Man though... I wish i could see farther than my hand...and in that moment, a soft light suffused his glove projecting a silvery radiance, that lit the cave with the glow of the stars. What the.. he almost said again, regaining his focus and heading towards the area to the south.
Zack, you see the Ogre trying to push himself out of the cave, and hear what is likely the other Ogre trying to pull him out. The Ogre takes very little notice of you, pratically in tears about his situation. "Get Nob out! No like tunnel!" When the coin lands it rolls between his feet and out into the cavern, but no one seems to really notice it. Nob however does look up and notice you and slams his great club onto the ground though it's nowhere near being able to hit you. He shouts angrily "Human! Nob crunch your bones! Make soup from your corpse!" When you leave to check on Daphne you can hear the the Ogre is redoubling his efforts to free himself. Upon entering Harks chamber, before talking to Daphne, you pass by the corpses of the rats and remember that three of the creatures are merely asleep. Though no expert with Magic, you know these effects don't normally last long, and that the rats may be waking up shortly and should be dealt with.
Daphne is currently hiding in the small chamber she was confined in, and appeared to be waiting your return. Her face becomes sullen at the mention of the corpse just around the corner. "Yes...Darthag. Ran the branch of the Lionshield Coster in Nightstone. That...beast...loves feeding people to his rats. Between them and the Ogres we've lost some good people, and then there was the Giants. I'm so glad you came when you did, they were going to feed me to those rats next I'm sure of it. Lady Nandaar hired you to rescue us right? Is my Lady okay? Is there anyone left in the keep? How bad is the-"
She cuts off as the light shines forth illuminating the chamber and covers her eyes briefly from the unexpected appearance of light. "whoa...I see my Lady found professionals." Daphne follows you from her prison chamber into Harks chamber, averting her gaze from the dead villager and trying her best to keep her composure.
Nadia breathed a sigh of relief when the goblin guard fell in front of her, even celebrating with the goblins who took her down, but the moment was interrupted by a flash of blue light and a scream from behind her. She turns back quickly, surprised to see Zack there, and being the one to land the finishing blow on the wannabe king, a small blue flame now extinguishing from his body. I didn't even notice him slip past me... Was the fire his doing? She questions mentally. The elf listens to Zack's retort against Nadaar, her lips thinning into a frown.
When the fighter departs momentarily, Nadia looks to Nadaar, brow raised, only to soon shake her head and hand back his dagger to him. "Thank you again, by the way, should probably invest in one of those... and take lessons with Zack on how to hit anything in melee range." She laughs, trying to lighten the air a bit before bending down to pick up her bow and the dead goblin's blade. "This'll do for now till I sell it."
She bristles at the sounds of the ogre trying to make his way through, followed by a groan of annoyance. "We ought to take care of that before heading south, yeah? I can shoot him down in the safety of the cave."

Zack at the sight of the Ogres reaction couldn't help but smirk .. just a bit, as the ogre was as likely to get itself more stuck as to free itself by doing what it did, but he had left the area before too much more attention could be drawn.
As the light shone through his now illuminated glove he thought to himself before saying aloud To be honest, I have no ****in' clue how i'm doing this Unfortunately, she was killed during the giant attack on Nightstone. I believe its only a few of the guards, and some of the staff left. Their names escape me right now as my minds focused on what we're doing here but it's a little more than a handful left, and the rest.. are.. well. Here. he sighs a bit at that realization but he wouldn't let her know that he was only just learning about whatever these powers were, and didn't want to up her panic-meter for no good reason.
Zack had indeed forgotten about the sleeping rats, and as that fact flashed in his mind, he would apologize to her saying Ah and yes.. I almost forgot about this... There's a few rats left that were just put to sleep by my friend. Really helped. I just wish we had gotten here a little sooner. Look or dont, up to you. I can understand looking away but i'm about to deliver a little justice for Darthag. And the others. Whatever you do though, stay close. He was legitimately impressed that she was keeping her cool compared to her initial reactions when he first found her. She had some steel in her it seemed.
As he reached for his blade once more, having long ago put the spikes back in his pack, the light became distended, as it shadowed the sword, likely casting ominous wraiths about the room as he prepared to execute the rats....
(not sure how you want this done, as either a coupdegras... or not and whether i can attack all 3 or if i can attack 1 per post etc... so...)

(Oh Zacks impressions of poor Daphne...posting very shortly. Also as far as I'm concerned the kills are instant and automatic in this case for those rats)
(True. But, Nadaar comes from a society in which everyone inherently has access to magic, be they the lowest commoner to the greatest king. And he's learned enough to know all have the spark. It's just a matter of conviction, training, bloodline and/or bargaining/bestowing by more powerful beings. And you had that whole magic oriented episode in the square after waking up. So, he isn't all that surprised at this point. The fact Zack hasn't used it more openly before is irrelevant to Nadaar due to a thus unspoken of view point of Magic by Dragonborn Society in Tymanthor)
Nadaar snorted. "I am a Dragonborn. Among the many, the spark, the thread -- whatever word one would describe it, is greatest within our people. And all such things you have displayed thus far are but a manipulation or 'reaction' from the Weave to your own will... Or so I believe. I... It is a discussion for another time." He said with a bit of a huff from seeing Zack half-distracted at the moment. Which in fairness, things could swing either which way, and there were a group of goblins to command.
"Hm? Hmph! No Thanks required. If anything... Nevermind."He waves her off to focus on sheathing one dagger and pulling out a strange piece of wood of all creatures from side pouch. "And so it was said, let there be light." The wood catches in hand as if engulfed in golden flames, only to soon leap off and form into the vague shape of a female dragonborn. At his mental bidding, the figure of light made her way closer to the Ogres. Just enough to be within arms reach of the duo. "About your idea, Lady Nadia, I had been thinking the same. At the very least, we should remain here while Zack heads the other way for a game of 'Peek-a-Doo."
He turns on Snigbat and says in goblin,
"Mind taking other two kin around with Human? Pepper Ogres with arrows from that side?"Nadaar requests of the goblin. "Snigbat use moment to prove worthy leader, yes?"That last part he tried to keep low for only the goblins ears.
Daphne tried her best to remain calm, diverting her eyes from the corpse and following Zack, trusting he knew what he was doing. However when Zack mentions Lady Nandaars fate Daphne stops in her tracks. Her eyes wide in disbelief, she doesn't hear the rest of what Zack has to say. As Zack kills the rats, she seems to take no notice. Her face turns pale and she breaks into a cold sweat. "L-L-Lady Nandar....killed? But she...wha..I.." And before she can finish whatever thought was racing through her head Zack hears a *thump* as Daphne faints, collapsing to the ground unconscious.
Meanwhile, Snigbat shakes her head in the affirmative and even gives a little salute to Nadaar and responds in Goblin. "Can do! Dragonman kill Hark, so Snigbat get human out!" Snig quickly goes to the other Goblins and quickly tells them to join her and they agree readily enough before returning to Harks chamber, at which point she sees the unconscious Daphne on the ground. Snigbat stares at her in confusion and looks up at Zack. "Why Human take nap now?"
With preparations complete and magics ready, Nadaar puts his hands together and noisily cracks his fingers, and then made his way into vision range of the Ogres. "Alright, Nadaar. Time to bring out the ballista." He half-murmured to himself, before adjusting his collar and grinning toothily at the Ogres(from a hopefully safe distance?!). "So, which one of you are Nob, and which one of you are not? Because I heard tale that Nob is the stupid one,"He comments casually, but the words carried a subtle magic to them; turning Ogre mind into a board with a nail in it.
One that magic hammered in just a little deeper for good measure. As he did so, Wonder receives the mental command to follow Zack for the time being.
Action: Cast the Cantrip Ya Big Dummy on Nob, inflicting 4 Psychic damage on a failed Wisdom Save(DC 13).
Bonus Action: Command Wonder.

The Ogre blocking the cave looks up to Nadaar upon hearing his name. "Me Nob! Nob not stupid! Nob crussshhaaaa" his words cut off as Nadaars magic takes hold and causes a sudden, severe migraine like pain in the Ogre. Nob reacts violently to the pain and seems to be getting angrier and agitated. The echos of Nobs yelling can be heard clearly from Harks chamber. The Goblins seem to have mixed feelings, clearly frightened by the loud scream but knowing the Ogre is stuck their fear turns into a nervous laughter. Wonder approaches Zack and will follow him until told to do otherwise, though it's unlikely Zack is aware of Wonders presence (unless she is still carrying the torch?) Daphne is still out cold on the ground, clearly not taking the death of her Lady well.
(Since we kinda started up combat again, order is Nadia, Nadaar, Zack, friendly goblins, Ogre2, Nob, Daphne)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(Quick question, since Hunter's Mark was on Hark, can we say that for the time it took for us to get to this point, ie ridding of the ogres, that Nadia put her mark on someone else for the time being then moved it to Nob? I hope that makes sense haha)
Nadia follows behind Nadaar's lead after putting away the new blades she picked off the goblin. With her bow in hand, string taut with an arrow in the other, she approaches the agitated ogre from a safe distance and lets the arrow loose.
Attack: 27 Damage: 10 Hunters Mark (if applicable): 1
(Lol 'Here Nadaar hold this for a second *gets hunters marked*' but sure that works)
Nadaar is watching the Ogre have a tantrum when an arrow whizzes by his head. Nob screams as an arrow strikes him in the shoulder, though more in annoyance than pain. "Nob crush! Eat yer flesh! Use bones for soup!"
Nadaar is up (unless you want to let Zack go first)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(It says 'a' not 'the' subsequent turn anywhos. So, as long as you held concentration, you'd be fine for an hour anyhow. :D)
Nadaar stands firm even as the arrow whizzed by like a boss, and merely glared at Nob. "Nob must be quite the cook! Though Nob had hard time, me thinks. It's why Nob's fingers are so stubby, is not? From cutting them off one too many times?"He continues to casually mock, before waggling his fingers near at the Ogre near the end.
Action: Cast the Cantrip Ya Big Dummy on Nob, inflicting 2 Psychic damage on a failed Wisdom Save(DC 13) on Nob.
Zack had been on his way to the southern tunnel when Daphne fainted. He let out a quick sigh as he wasn't quite sure what had caused it. Well i suppose she might just be weak. Don't got time for this though... And atleast right now.. she's safer.. but I should probably move her back... just in case.. he says, picking her up by the belly, and walking with her back into the tunnel he'd found her in.. Just in case the fight comes into the bigger area...
With that done, he'd head back out, drawing his weapon, and head again for the tunnel he was going for while shouting to the N's Yo Gonna check it out. Looks like you got things wrapped up here. We have a guest. She's tucked in.
(Action picking up and dropping Daphne back in the cave where she'd be hidden from direct sight. Then moving back towards the tunnel. Effectively back where i was since i assume it was difficult terrain while holding her.)

(not sure how you want this done, as either a coupdegras... or not and whether i can attack all 3 or if i can attack 1 per post etc... so...)
Attack on sleeping nezumi 1: Attack: 16 Damage: 7 Greatweapon fighting reroll the 1 & 2 for a .... 6 + 2 damage +4

Nevermind." He waves her off to focus on sheathing one dagger and pulling out a strange piece of wood of all creatures from side pouch.
Pepper Ogres with arrows from that side?" Nadaar requests of the goblin. "Snigbat use moment to prove worthy leader, yes?" That last part he tried to keep low for only the goblins ears.

Because I heard tale that Nob is the stupid one," He comments casually, but the words carried a subtle magic to them; turning Ogre mind into a board with a nail in it.

Wis save: 2
Initiatives: Zack 20 Nadia: 8 Nadaar: 19 Daphne:20 Snigbat bat, allied goblins 3 and 4: 3 Nob: 15 Ogre2(technically not really in combat but just in case): 11
(For the record only one Ogre is visible atm the other would be behind the Nob who is blocking the entire cavern entrance)
Attack: 27 Damage: 10
Hunters Mark (if applicable): 1
(Lol 'Here Nadaar hold this for a second *gets hunters marked*' but sure that works)
Nadaar is watching the Ogre have a tantrum when an arrow whizzes by his head. Nob screams as an arrow strikes him in the shoulder, though more in annoyance than pain. "Nob crush! Eat yer flesh! Use bones for soup!"
Nadaar is up (unless you want to let Zack go first)
(It says 'a' not 'the' subsequent turn anywhos.
From cutting them off one too many times?" He continues to casually mock, before waggling his fingers near at the Ogre near the end.
