Zack looks surprised, as he hears the elf behind him - made obvious as an elf by the way he spoke. Zack turned around to look up from where the voice came from, and in a shouting whisper would say Not just me... I have two friends further in the tunnel I just came from and.. AH! These goblins aren't bad.... the one's behind me. I can't say for sure about the others in the cave... So don't hit them just yet... Apparently some of the townsfolk are also still alive. The town wanted to make peace with you guys, so please take that into consideration if you intended to hurt the humans from there... Also one of my friends is part elf. everything he said was in haste, trying not to lose time. And hoping his words got across.
With that, he continued into the main area running right past 7 not caring if the goblin struck at him as he readied his sword once more, bringing it to bear on the first ogre he saw, the weapon coming down in an angled arc, but this time, zack felt a surge, and he latched onto it... Grabbing it with his mind, and trying to project it outward. His massive blade erupted into that same blue flame as before.... Attack: 15 Damage: 9 (rerolling 1 damage... 4)
If the attack meets its mark, the flame would wash over the ogre harmlessly, however leaping from the first target to Nob's ass for 2 flame damage. I'm right here dick-for-brains! Your mother was a donkey, and your father smells of elderberries! he taunted.
Summary: Moved just within range of O and attacked with Blue-Flame Blade, if hit the flame will do 0 additional damage to the primary but 2 to the secondary. If Zack is hit by anything, he will use Shield as a reaction.
The elf barely has time to reply to Zack beffore he rushes off, simply sighing the elf just sits and watches events unfold. Meanwhile Zack charges forward blowing right passed a Goblin who is caught of guard by his sudden appearance that he fails to get a shot off in time. A second later Zacks blade is cutting through the back of the second Ogre and a arch of blue flames is summoned forth. The Ogre screams in fain and shock upon seeing the flame yet it is unharmed by it. Instead the flames wash over the Ogre and lash out at Nob like a fiery blue snake. Shortly after Snigbat and the other friends Goblins rush out behind Zack Snig bat calls upon the other Goblins for aid, saying Hark had gone mad and wanted to feed the Goblins to the ogres once they ran out of humans. Goblins 5 and 6 look at one another in anger and shout at the Ogre. Cries of "Stupid ogre!" and "death to Hark!" can be hear throughout the cave. Goblin 7 however does not seem to be buying into this, Zack may notice that this is the same Goblin that had been bullying Gum-Gum at the main entrance. The other Goblins all make attacks against the Ogre. The Ogre is riddled with arrows from all sides as its Goblin allies turn on it, screaming in pain and bleeding quite profusely. Goblin 7 makes no attack against the Ogre at first, however, looking around at all the other Goblins attack he soon sends flying his own arrow. While perhaps not the most intelligent of creatures, even a goblin knows better than to label himself an enemy when out numbered and surrounded on all sides. The Ogre turns to regard Zack who had started this attack. He screams loudly in Zacks face covering him in spittle. Raising its club high in the air, it clearly intends to turn Zack into a smashed of pile of gore. However it never saw the arrow that killed it. Goblin 7s arrow, though late coming, strikes the Ogre right in the eye and into the brain. The Ogre drops its club harmlessly to the floor and falls backwards. While the Ogre was killed swiftly thanks to Zack and your new found Goblin allies, unfortunately its body is blocking the tunnel.
Back in the tunnel Nob yells in a rage as its backside is struck by Zacks blue flame. Determined to eat, and with only one way open to it, the Ogre dashes forward. It breaks off sections of stone as he squeezes through the tunnel and ends up on harks chamber before once again squeezing through the south tunnel, ending its turn next to Nadaar but unable to take any other actions.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
There was no hesitation when Nadia was given the go ahead, the elf darting off into the southern tunnel to hopefully catch up to Zack. She kept her bow drawn and eyes out for anything as she continued to dash forward.
Nadia, with her superior speed, is able to sprint through the tunnel and out into the main chamber. Once out she sees several Goblins celebrating a kill on the second Ogre. From somewhere behind she hears an unfamiliar laugh."Haha, and out comes another." If Nadia looked around she would see the elf on the shelf (I couldn't stop myself) behind her, sitting and watching the fight.
Hearing the sounds of Nadia running if further along the tunnel, a briefly confused Nadaar glances back for a second, before shaking his head. 'Hope these tunnels are a long one!' He thought as he once again flourished the blade, and roared for good measure and hopes of further unnerving the Ogre. During that window, the Dragonborn slips further into the tunnels, calling back tauntingly, "Your so close, Nob! So close to taste'n dragon flesh, my friend! Give it your all!"
Zack, and many others in the cavern find the one mysterious torch abruptly begin making its way back into the tunnels.
The Ogre seems only minorly fazed by the blade, too keen on crushing the dragon to care about self preservation it seems. Nadaar flees down the tunnel until he is in the smaller chamber. Back in the main chamber a torch slowly starts heading back to Nadaars position, a certain elf watches as its passes by, simply saying "Huh."
Zack, seeing that all of the goblins were more or less on their side, and one ogre.. surprisingly easily felled, he was surprised that the N's hadn't already downed the first. With a calming breath, lunges forward his weapon like a spear once more, as he was afraid the tunnel wouldn't allow for a full cleave... Hey, lardass... his voice had changed from it's usual teasing tone to a much more serious one, for whatever reason. ..You've been eating humans like you had the right to do so. You've been killing innocent people just because you could. What's about to happen to you is personal. This is for Nightstone.
With that, he would charge whatever distance was needed to make the blade connect.... Attack: 22 Damage: 6
As the blade pieced the ogre's back, he didn't pull it out.. instead, pushing the blade deeper.... (Athl for flare: 23)
After which Zack would pull back, getting out of the way of potential arrows if the ogre was still alive, giving a 'fire' nod.
OOC - Ignore all that shit.
Zack runs down the hallway and positions for an AOO :x
Zack climbs over their fallen foe and into the tunnel dashing towards Nob and finding him as he is about to head down the tunnel. Back in the main chamber most of the Goblins are celebrating their kill and dont bother to follow. As Nob pushes through the tunnel Zack is just able to get his black to cut into the Ogres back side. Nob leaves a trail of blood down the tunnel as he chases after Nadaar. Nob has to dash for all he is worth to get through the cramped space but still manages to catch up to the Dragonborn.
We are back to Nadia. Nadia sees Zack has entered the tunnel near him and can hear Nob stomping around the tunnel she just came from. Seeing wonder still moving around, she can reasonably assume that means Nadaar is still alive. (I suppose it should have dispelled when he got knocked out but meh not bothering to change it now)

Nadia looks around hastily, aiming her bow at whatever she could see, but doesn't let loose the arrow. With the goblins celebrating and not automatically going hostile on her, she lowers her bow and looks for Zack, but when she hears the unfamiliar voice, she turns around. She puts a hand to her hips, an unimpressed expression crossing her face as she asks him, "¿Disfrutando el espectáculo?" (Enjoying the show?)
Her lips part again to continue, but she gets distracted by Wonder, and turns her attention back to the tunnel she just traversed. The heavy stomping sounds... "That ugly idiot is following him." She deduces, then looks back to the elf. "Whenever you feel like making yourself somewhat useful, there's an ogre coming through these tunnels that you could help dispatch." The ranger doesn't wait for a retort, leaving it up to him if he wants to help, and darts off back into the tunnel.
With her back pressed against the wall, she peeks her head out to see if she could see Nob, bow at the ready. Once he comes into view and she is able to get a clear shot, she let's loose her arrow.
The elf stares at Nadia for a moment, seemingly studying her face. For a moment his expression is one of recognition and Nadia only can hear his say "Natasha?"However after Nadia speaks his face turns to disappointment, and the longer he looks the more he realizes you are not the person his mistook you for. To your question he gives a simple Nod in the affirmative and turns back to finish stringing his bow. He doesn't reply to you as you ask him to help.
Back in the tunnel Nob is charging through knock off loose bits of stone in the process. Nadia lines up a shot for when the Ogres passes through the gap between the tunnel exit and Nadaar. A difficult shot yes, but as Nob bursts forth she looses her arrow. The arrow strikes with such force that as it enters Nobs chest the entire arrow seems to disappear between folds of fat and muscle. Nob screams loudly, and in his momentum keeps stumbling through the tunnel towards Nadaar. Nadaar manages to just turn the corner in time as Nob stumbles through, landing face first into the shallow pool of water. At this point Wonder finally reaches the dragonborn, just in time to illuminate the pool as the waters turn crimson. The Ogre remains still and silent.
When she darted away, she heard him say her sisters name. Half of her wanted to stop and question him, but the urgency of the matter at hand pushed her back into the tunnel to help Nadaar finish the remaining ogre. The elf managed a breath of relief when she sees him finally fall, very quickly checking to see if the dragonborn was okay. Hurt pretty bad, but breathing, and that was the most important thing. Her eyes look over the ogre, then to Nadaar. "You're probably gonna search if he had anything useful on him anyways, I'm sure," She says, her bow now strewn across her torso. "I'll be right back, promise."
She runs back through the tunnel, keeping an eye out for the elf, and when she (hopefully) finds him, her gaze hardens. "How do you know Nat?"
The elf matches Nadias hardened gaze as he stares at her intently, this time take a good long look at the ranger. His gaze finally relaxes as he starts to laugh to him self. "Ha! Looks like her and acts like her. Certainly fights like her if I'm correct in assuming you've killed that Ogre back there. So many similarities...I'd guess that probably makes you her sister then. What did she say your name was again..." He drags out the thought perhaps a little too long, long enough to the point where one might wonder if he was actually unsure or just toying with you. After he (presumably) gets an answer he simply nods in agreement with a smug look on his face as if to say he knew all along, or at least once he knew you were not Natasha. "Your sister and I were..close...for a brief while anyway, before she ran off. Wasn't very nice of her to break my heart like that but I don't hold it against her. Though I admit I'm shocked her sister would also make her way here. I don't know if your being here is fate or simply a remarkable coincidence, but regardless I have bad news for you and your friends. You're trespassing in our home. We only give this warning once. Leave the forest and don't return. Refuse or return again and we will force you out. We might've made an exception for you Nadia, but not as long as you travel in the company of a human."

Nadaar forces a chuckle past heavy breathes, and just threw a thumbs up Nadia's general direction. As he felt his breathe finally steady, he made his way over, only to grimace at whatever foul stench doubtlessly emanated from the giant-kin. Still, he pulled up his sleeves, mentally command Wonder to wait nearby with Torch in hand, and began rooting around in whatever amounted as clothing Ogre. Even if all he finds are but the odd trinkets, so long as they weren't made of humans, he pockets to figure out what to do with after.
".... Wait, what are you doing Nadaar?! There are people to help, you greedy fool." He chides himself in hushed tones, while clamoring off the Ogre. As he made for the center cavern, if he should hear an unfamiliar voice ahead -- even if that voice is speaking calmly -- the Black Dragonborn again draws Krul's claymore, and let it rest on his shoulder while marching out in the open. Wonder is never far behind. "A friend of yours, Lady Nadia? Or a concern?" He would ask without looking away, if the elf is still there by the time he arrives on the scene. And if not, he'd just give Nadia a thankful smile before calling out for Snigbat and GumGum in goblin.

Nadia doesn't answer him, instead she shifts her weight on one foot and folds her arms over her chest, brow raised to see how long he'll take before speaking again. She listens, and her expressions change throughout what he says, muttering a few things here and there. When Nadaar approaches, she gives him a look of uncertainty. "I can't say friend, but he knows of my sister..." Was all she could really answer with. The elf then fully turns her attention to the male elf.
"Can't say my sister ever mentioned you in her letters, so, I don't really know who you are," She starts, almost apologetically. "And before you go and try kicking us out of here, after, you know, we kinda took care of this whole thing for you, wanna tell me your name and why you're here? Then I'll go ahead and let you know why were 'trespassing' on your land, yadah, yadah, yadah... Get this whole thing sorted out before it even has the chance to head south."
Nadaar searches the Ogre briefly, only finding a single gold coin on the Ogres possession, the same coin Zack had tossed it when you all first entered the cave. The Ogre is mostly covered in mud, and doesn't have many places where it could store valuables. It's likely if there is treasure to be had that is located somewhere else in the cave. When Nadaar walks out of tunnel he sees the the wood elf sitting on the raised platform, when he sees Nadaar the Elf smugly says "Ah and there is our third. Though it looks like he can barely stand. It also seems your human has gotten lost in the tunnels." Once called for Gum-Gum comes out of hiding from behind a rock at the north end of the tunnel and meets up with Snigbat and the others who were mid celebrating. They start to head towards Nadaar but immediate stop when they notice the elf.
"Of course she didn't mention me, that would be like her. My name is Agis, and your sister took issue with my methods, and like I said she was only with us briefly before running off. But it's okay, I have no need those with weak hearts. Anyway I simply came here because my scouts reported a small group trespassing in our forest. Imagine my surprise when I find the Goblins hiding out in the cave. Speaking of which, I need a word." Agis steps down from the platform and walks passed Nadia and Nadaar towards the goblins. Unless prevented by either of our party, he walks up unarmed to the group of Goblins who are now trembling with fear and asks "Which of you are in charge now?" The Goblins single out Snigbat who suddenly seems less keen on being leader.
If left alone:
"I see, well we already warned your tribe once to leave the forest. In case you didn't know, this cave is still in the forest. You do know that don't you Goblin?" Snigbat nods hesitantly after which Agis whistles. Out of the darkness, somewhere from the gathering of stalagmites, two arrows pierce the air and strike Snigbat in the chest. She falls over dead and the other Goblins start begging for their lives. Agis points to Gum-Gum and declares "You're in charge now. I suggest you take your people and leave this time. You have until sunrise. If we find you again there won't be a need to decide on a new leader." Gum-Gum shakes her head violently in a 'yes' motion as Agis turns to approach the group again. "I suggest you and you're friends leave as well. Your human mentioned the villagers from Nightstone, search the cave, if they are here take them with you, remind them they aren't welcome in these woods. I'll ignore their trespassing only just this once given the circumstances, but in the future they can expect any encroucment on our land to be treated as a hostile act."
If prevented:
Agis glares daggers at whomever gets in his way. Coldly stating "This is not your buisness. You people aren't welcome here. Leave. Now. I shan't warn you again."
Zack had been charging forward when he watched the Ogre stumble and fall, the light just enough from his still glowing glove to see it. He waited to make sure it didn't rise again before finally relaxing. Having heard Nadaar also confirm through the light cave echoes. Finally holstering his weapon, and heading back to the cave where Daphne was, and jinkies.. this had been a hell of a situation. But it ended well. Or at least better than it could have. Zack was relieved that an elf had shown up, though he hadn't noticed whether or not the elf had helped with the one ogre or not.
Picking up Daphne princess-style, if only because it was the easiest way to carry a person, he made his way down the tunnel again, coming in near the tail end of the conversation between Nadia and the shelved elf. Watching until the other arrows came singing through, killing Snigbat. At which point Zack went from annoyed yet curious to serious.
Got somethin' against humans? Is there a reason for it? or is it just because you were told to? And what the **** man? You want to know who else did what you just did there? Killing some goblins for no other reason than they could? A certain organization called the Zhentarim. Did the same thing in Nightstone. You know, up till right now, I had a lot of respect for elves, and their general culture. I knew they could be a bit uptight.. but this? I don't like what they were doing to the town... and that they were feeding.. people to the ogres... he said as he set Daphne down again, just out of sight.
But you and the Zhents seem to be about on the same level in terms of integrity... So you say we better grab the people and go? I have a better idea. he says as he draws his sword, but makes it clear he's not attacking. Holding the sword on on shoulder as he digs through a pocket. Perhaps we can kill two birds with one stone. And as much as I don't like you for the scrawny shit you are... We were technically still here to do a job, and you coming here accomplishes the other job... eventually he finds it, and, pulling out the insignia for the job they originally went to Nightstone for, throwing to the elf to catch.
So here's what I'm thinking. Nightstone wanted us to come talk to you guys. Maybe not you specifically but I think even you are intelligent enough to get what I'm gettign at. If I win, you come with us back to Nightstone and do some diplomacy. And I mean REALLY do it. Not just go along with it, you'll take it seriously. If I lose... Well you've already told us what you want. But.. I suppose I gotta make this official... with that, he'd take off his glove as he closed the distance between him and the elf, before tossing the glove smack dab into the mans face. I challenge you to a duel, noodle-limbs.

There isn't even a second of hesitation. Wiping a bit of blood that had begun dribbling out the corner of his snout using a free hand, Nadaar calmly steps in-between elf and goblins. Not a bone in his body did not hurt, and no amount of self-denial could make him believe that at least one leg was trembling from trying to support his weight. Yet, even in the face of Agis' hostility, the Dragonborn initially only faintly smiled in return. "But, it /is/, my business. And I would love nothing more than to be out of your hair sooner than later, my dear Sshenzo-soth."He calmly stated, ending on a word in Draconic. One the elf may or may not have known. But if he did, he would recognize it as the closest word one of Dragon blood can say conferring a measure of genuine respect for fey and elves alike.
A word Nadaar would've thanked his past self for remember, and followed up with more... if not for Zack stepping up as well.
Perhaps arrows still found Snigbat... Perhaps the soldier took offense at the manners of the elf all the same.... Perhaps he saw at least one sniper in waiting...
Regardless of the reason in the end, though a shot fired -- if noticed by Nadaar in time -- might lead him to try and take or deflect it, Zack speaks his piece without interference from at least the Dragonborn. Though even before the human is half-way through, a crack appears in Nadaar's calm veneer. One that spoke of growing horror, mild annoyance, and disbelief playing in the man's audacity playing out still at least slightly subtly at different points. Yet he seizes what he hoped to be an opportunity in it all to step back a step, and whisper something in goblin to Snigbat and the rest.
Stealth: 12. (If necessary. And if at advantage for distraction from Zack(?): 19.)
"Snigbat. Now is good time to declare having punished one that led goblins here, and intending to leave forest. Post Haste. We can work out where go next after, okay? Just head towards Nightstone."
Just as the last words are leaving his mouth, Nadaar head snaps back fully to the conversation, realizing too late the 'It's time to D-d-d-duel!' card had been played by the soldier. At which point, Nadaar had to close his eyes and pinched the bridge of his snout.

Agis begins his speech to the Goblins from a distance. Before making the call to have the leader killed he starts to approach but is held back Nadaar. He seems to recognize Nadaars compliment but meets it with a look of skepticism. "The Goblins had been warned already. We've killed plenty of them when they attacked our home. They knew they weren't welcome and I'm not keen on repeating myself." Out the corner of his eye Nadaar notices a second elf in the room, hiding behind oone of the stalagmites. The elf has an arrow trained on Snigbat. Agis whistle, his signal. Nadaar is too far to block the attack, but wonder was close by and on command gets in the way of the arrow taking the blow. The arrow seems to float midair as wonder has been wounded, but not quite dispelled. At that moment, Rillex, who had been hiding in Nadaars clothes and has somehow managed to avoid injury pokes his head out and flies over to wonder in concern.
Unfortunately the second sniper was not seen and thus his arrow still strikes the unexpecting Snigbat. Snigbat falls over in pain and cries loudly, but luckily the single arrow itself did not end up being lethal. It's at this moment that Zack emerges from the tunnel carrying a still unconscious Daphne. Zack says his peice, and right up until the challenge Agis listens though by the look on his face it's clear he cares little about anything Zack is saying. However once the glove is tossed the elf appears to be enraged at Zacks audacity. Not backing down, he stares right back at Zack. "You're right kid, I do have a problem with humans. Your kind destroy everything you touch everywhere you go. You live such short and meaningless lives, that none of you care what destroy in your wake. Meanwhile the rest of us who have to live in this world have to deal with the damage you wrought. But fine, I'll accept your challenge boy. I've been killing folks like you since before your grandparents were born, and it seems you've already taken quite the beating. It'll be fun to knock you down a notch or ten."
During this distraction Nadaar whispers over to the Goblins, presumably redirecting the words to Gum-Gum since Snigbat is injured. Gum-Gum whispers back, "But more Goblins in tunnels. Not fighters, but too many to sneak." She points towards a tunnel entrance about 30ft south of the party and Agis. Gum-Gum would have to lead the Goblins through the parties location, making sneaking fairly difficult. However the tunnel itself, which is the south eastern most tunnel in the cave, is only a short run from the entrance to the cave.
Meanwhile back with Zack and Agis, Agis draws his short sword and waits for Zack to do the same. "Come on kid, if you're serious the drawn your weapon."
Zack smiles as he see's his provocations had worked. he loved dealing with people like this who thought they were morally superior for one reason or another, without knowing a single thing about the person they were belittling. He was glad that Nadaar had manages to prevent a worse outcome than may have otherwise occurred. He had no idea what Nadaar was up to. Agi's' weapon only making him smirk more. He waited long enough for Nadaar and co to shift out of easy striking distance, as the size of his weapon didn't allow for allies to become overly close.
Huh, I didn't know true elves had such poor vision.... My weapon's been drawn for a while now. or perhaps you're not used to seeing a weapon larger than that butter knife you have. But I suppose.... when your arms are as thick as twigs.. that's all you can handle... he says as he intentionally flexes his own muscles, the veins normally hidden revealing themselves (Intimidation: 18)
(Athl for personal flare note..: 13)
Regardless of how well his intimidation attempt went, his intent, ultimately was to distract, and using the tension he'd just built in his arms, waiting for that clear distraction to show as the elf considered his retort... he would springboard, much faster than the heft of his massive blade looked like it could allow to strike. His body spinning counter clockwise as the blade shone around, illuminated by the glowing glove. The tip flowing down and around as he spun, the sharp edge aiming center mass in an upward-strike that would hit the elf's left side if at all.... Shouting in Giants tongue... Kore o yarou!

Attack: 26 Damage: 5

The elf stares at Nadia for a moment, seemingly studying her face. For a moment his expression is one of recognition and Nadia only can hear his say "Natasha?" However after Nadia speaks his face turns to disappointment, and the longer he looks the more he realizes you are not the person his mistook you for.
(Combat is over)
When she darted away, she heard him say her sisters name.
Investigation: 9.

And I would love nothing more than to be out of your hair sooner than later, my dear Sshenzo-soth." He calmly stated, ending on a word in Draconic.

Kore o yarou!
initiating attack: Attack: 19 Damage: 6
(Initiative: 13
The swing had more power behind it than even he expected setting him a bit off balance... But he managed to pull the blade into check and regain his footing just before the elf's retaliation. (nat 1 on initiative.. lol)
