The party splits, some heading down the cobbled streets of Luskan back to Roccar's safehouse, the others toward Bohmar Brineboots' Apothecary.

Shortly after splitting, up, while Gruun and Wes are on their way to Bohmar's, the other are approached by a smiling redheaded woman, clad in armor: Ser Mary Glendale, in the flesh, looking much like Rycider apart from some very minor inaccuracies. She stops around sixty feet away.
If the gem reveals nothing, Tanakir turns quickly to Rycider before speaking to Ser Mary, "That depends on her. Ser Mary, do you trust Ritska with your life?"
Trusting as she is, regardless of the results of Rycider's gem touching (unless all hell has broken loose), Killian will approach the new woman and say, "It is good to see you again."
OOC > A note to remember the ring Killian wears (though there is no ring visible on her fingers), though I can't imagine Barty needs the reminder...

Aradurk, Karst, Killian, Rycider, and Tanakir:
"It's great to see you, Rycider," Ser Mary says, a wide grin on her face. She walks toward Rycider as the bard approaches and touches the gemstone to her person. When she pulls it away, Ser Mary's skin is black and scaled where the gem was. As the scales spread, Ser Mary's grin turns wicked, elongating into the snout of a death slaad. "Ser Mary the bravest," it says. And then all hell breaks loose.
A blinding explosion rocks the street, deafening the party. The force of the blast pushes you backward and drops you to the ground forcefully. The walls of building surrounding you crumble, dropping loose debris onto the street. As onlookers rush to the scene, the eyes of Aradurk, Karst, Killian and Tanakir adjust to see an all too familiar crater in the middle of the street, filling a thirty foot radius. At the edge of the crater are the battered and soot-covered still form of Rycider, having taken 80 force damage from the proximity of the explosion. The rest of the party, on the edge of the explosion, have taken 40 force damage.

Gruun and Wes:
As you approach Bohmar Brineboots' Apothecary, the small hovel in sight at the end of the street, another massive explosion rocks the street of Luskan. A fourth dust cloud hovers above the city, this one startlingly close.
Karst, jumping back to his feet scanns for signs of the slaad, and then sees Rycider unconscious at the edge of the crater, rushing to her he channels healing magic (30hp from Lay on Hands) into the bard bringing her back round, as she comes to he draws his axe in readiness for another attack from anywhere, positioning himself to protect Rycider while she gets herself back in the fight. "No sleeping on the job Ricky, we need you up and alert, these bastards could be anywhere..."

Aradurk nods and speaks again into the sending stone: “Gauge the veracity of any Ser Mary you encounter from as far away as possible - 11 foot pole as a minimum”, thinking of a friend’s storied encounters through a previous dungeon.

Wes receives the message and responds into the sending stone. “Understood, stay safe. We just arrived at the shop.”
Wes leans down from his perch on Grunn’s shoulders. “They were at the explosion, we need to get inside. Don’t trust any Ser Marys we see, they say keep our distance with an eleven foot pole.”
With that Wes sends Petunia into the shop to investigate first, looking through her senses.

Gruun nods in understanding to Wes. Taking his time and being cautious, Gruun begins to quietly move around the outside and inside the shop looking for anything suspicious.
The slaad is gone, blasted into nothingness. The only sign of it remaining is a slight scorch mark where it once stood in the middle of what is now another crater.
With Rycider hurt but alive and conscious, Killian urges you onward, and within the hour you reach Roccar's safehouse. Heading through the barber shop into the basement, you enter the hideout to see a redheaded warrior holding a sword and a glowing gem: Ser Mary Glendale, in the flesh.
"Hold fast! Each one of you touches this gem!" she shouts, tossing a gem of revealing at the party and holding her sword threateningly aloft.
Gruun and Wes:
Petunia's entrance into the apothecary is met by the startled shout of dwarven brogue. Gruun scouts around the building, seeing no threat. Through his familiar's eyes, Wes sees a dwarf in robes frantically trying to stomp on the weasel in the middle of the small building. Around him, small vials are lined up in rows on shelving, and a makeshift shrine has been built in the back of the room.
Wes snaps Petunia back to him on top of his shoulder before walking in. Quickly opening and closing it behind him, after a quick glance to make sure there aren’t any other customers “Are you Bohmar?” He will touch the stone to the dwarfs skin. “Is there anybody else here? Any.... strange customers today? We are associated with Ritska.” As he nods towards Grunn.”
"Well I don't mind submitting to this, just promise not to explode, I'm still feeling the last blast a little bit." Karst mutters grimly as he touches the crystal. "It is good to see you safe Ser Mary."

Hearing the shout from inside Gruun heads in to calm down Bohmar. "Calm down Bohmar, this one is with me and we are both here from Ritska." He will watch closely to ensure he passes the crystal test before relaxing. Speaking quietly, "We are locating Ser Mary and bringing her here. I will ask you a question and the answer will be blood. Blood, Bohmar do you understand?" With Bohmar's confused accepts he turns to Wes, "Let us get moving to rejoin the others" and assist him getting back into his shoulders.
Tanakir takes hold of the crystal as well before pulling out his own, "We ought to use our own crystals on each other. If the slaadi know of this, they may provide defective crystals so that they appear authentic."
Wes touches the gem to Grunn. “You left my eyesight... can’t be too careful.” Turning his attention back to Bohmar Wes will insist to keep your doors and windows locked. Do not let anyone in, if they force their way in when Grunn asks his question, say “water” if they are waiting inside. Got it? Blood okay, Water bad. I’m leaving Petunia here too. She will stay out of sight and come to me if trouble comes. We are counting on you.” With that Wes will nod and get in position to meet the others.
Telepathically Wes will tell petunia “search the rest of this place, don’t trust this one.”
Stepping outside he will speak into the stone. “We’ve secured the drop off point, heading to meet you.”
