Paul, For future reference, the two spears Guilliame pointed at are in the corner at the top left-hand corner of the map. There are also some backpacks next to the spears.

"Right then," says Brock, placing two wooden tumbler onto the bar top in front of him. He then pulls up a pottery bottle from below the bar and pours two stiff measures into the tumblers.
The man named Jon comes and take the two tumblers across to the two recently chosen competitors who then raise them at each other and down them in one gulp.
Neither of them can prevent the look of disgust that comes over the face.
"That is terrible grog, Brock" says the tattooed man, wiping his mouth with a hand.
"That does not matter," replies Brock casually. "It is part of the competition. Now, to the table and find out which of you will win this round."
The men standing around move aside to let the two sit down on opposite sides of the table where they grip hands ready for a contest of strength.
"Go," says the man named Jon.
The two strain against each other, the veins in their neck standing out, and it quickly becomes clear that this is more than just a test of strength.
[OOC: Rolls for the arm-twisting competition.
Tattooed Man, First Roll;17; Second Roll:15
His Opponent, First Roll;15; Second Roll:18

Eventually though, the tattooed man's wrist is pinned to the table and the room erupts with a mixture of cheers and groans.
The tattooed man seems very pissed off and, nursing his sore arm, he moves away to a group of people sitting at a table near the stairs at the bottom, right-hand corner of the map.
"Well that makes the competition interesting," says Brock more or less to himself. "We now have two undefeated participants on two drinks each."
Do a See the arcane and look at the non-tattooed man.
What Guilliame sees:
[OOC: This man is the man with the faint magic aura that Guilliame saw before. Nothing has changed about his aura as a result of the recent contest of strength.
However, this time he notices you looking at him and you see him close and open his eyes in a manner you recognise.
His brow then furrows for a moment before he looks away.]

Brock looks at Dora quizzically and then says, "The arm-twisting competition was my idea but I did not invite them." Once more he looks at the four at the table next to the stairs. "This is the first time they have been here and I cannot say I like the look of them."
[OOC: Paul, could you please make an Insight check for Dora.]
As this conversation is going on, the draw for the next round of the arm-twisting competition goes ahead.
The fourth stone drawn is a white one and the man who draws it is stout-looking Stemian man dressed in the garb of a farmer; he looks a bit confused by it all.
The seventh stone drawn is also a white one and this is drawn by a well-built Sorendenese man dressed in clothes that distinguish him as anything other than a farmer. He looks down at his shorter opponent and then says simply, "Shall we? I have an engagement in town later tonight and, win or lose, I do not want to keep her waiting."
[OOC: Andrew, Guilliame notices that the winner of the last bout moved away after drawing a black stone and is now talking with the young man Guilliame noticed earlier near the stage.]

At Dora's comment about easy money, the tavern owner gives a short chuckle and says, "Well that didn't work for them, did it? He is out of the competition now."

What Guilliame sees:
Because he doesn't move, Guilliame can't hear what is being said over the noise of the taproom. However, based on his reaction, it would seem the youth is being told off for some unknown failing or slight.
The older man then turns and looks in Guilliame's direction as the youth leaves the building. In response to Guilliame's continued stare, the older man glares back for a moment and then returns to his seat at the arm-twisting table.
[OOC: Make an Insight check.]
Brock breaks away from his conversation with Dora for a moment to pour two slugs of the potent smelling liquour into two wooden tumblers for the arm-twisting competitors. His man, Jon, then gathers up the tumblers and takes them to the table where the two men have already sat down opposite each other.
The Sorendenese man then raises his tumbler towards his Stemian opponent and attempts to toss back its contents.
[OOC: Hopefully this time what follows won't run afoul of the die checking algorithm...

The Stemian man also raises his glass and drinks.

He grimaces but then says, "I have had worse... But not for a while, I must admit."
The two then set themselves up for the arm-twisting part of the event and upon a word from Jon start to strain mightily against each other.
[OOC:
The Sorendenese's Roll:10
The Stemian's Roll:10
]
However, it is no real contest as the quiet-spoken Stemian, while appearing to be unsure about what is happening, is clearly the hardier of the two.
"Bah!" exclaims the Sorendenese man rising from the table after his defeat. "You can have this for a joke. I am off."
He then begins moving towards the door of the taproom unsteady on his feet, which draws a few deleterious comments from the group. He glares back for a moment in response but then leaves the building.
"Shut up you lot!" shouts Brock into the laughter that follows, after a quick glance at Dora, "There is a lady present. Watch your language."

Quietly to Brock and Guilliame, "Master Brock, Guilliame watches the foursome, and will let us know of anything untoward especially if they follow our Sorandenese loser out. In the meantime do you know who owns the spears over by the wall?"
Brock looks over at the spears Dora indicates, shrugs, and then says, "Two travellers, they arrived late in the day and I am hoping they will take rooms for the night. One of them is in the competition."
He then points out a solidly built Stemian man in rough, obviously home-made clothing, standing in the group around the competition table. The man has a mug in his hand and seems quite merry. The only other person in the room wearing similar clothes is a small woman sitting quietly near the fire. She also has a mug in her hand but is more interested in looking into the fire than at the competition.
[OOC: Guilliame would have seen her before when he did his scan around the room with Mage Sight, but she has no magic and neither does he.]
Then, in answer to Guilliame's question, he says, "No. Just the main door." Then he glances at the stairs that lead up to the second floor and shakes his head.
[OOC: Despite their lack on the map, there are windows in this room but they are all currently shuttered and barred for the night. They could be opened, but not quickly and not without being noticed.]
