Continue following granny around the markets keeping an eye out for anything unusual.
The two of them continue to walk around the market for about fifteen minutes. Granny makes a few more small purchases (i.e., she buys some dye and vegetables) but she doesn't require Guilliame to carry them. She makes comment that the markets are a lot busier earlier in the day and that some of her favourite sellers have already packed up and gone.

Guilliame and Naomi head back home crossing the two bridges to arrive back in the Scholar's Ward. As they travel, Guilliame sees a number of carts on the road loaded up with the goods and family members of people like the Finis who have decided to leave Constantine because of the royal decree making all non-Mithran faiths anathema.
Eventually they reach the shop to find Sam waiting for them, a big grin on his face.

Guilliame grabs his spellbook and whatever else he usually takes when he goes to the School and spends a couple of hours in the library researching.

Velma, the assistant librarian, is just pulling the caps off the eternal flame lights when Guilliame realises what the time is and that he is hungry.
