Although Gorlak apparently doesn't understand the Common speech, he seems to have sensed Rhayna's warning of the time limit to the spell, and starts to stall between answers, apparently willing to risk the threat of Dawnbringer's light. Four more questions are asked before the spell expires:
"Where specifically do we take your corpse once we kill you, so that it may be returned to the empty-scabbard killers?" 6 (raw truth) The current hideout is twelve miles from Gracklstugh. You take the west tunnel out of the city. It is half a mile then a right turn, two more miles then a hidden tunnel behind a large growth of ripplebark. Then it is second left after the tar pits, first left after the rope bridge, three more miles then take the high tunnel above the ledge, first right after the creek, third left after the steam vents, and the middle passage at the fork. Two miles more and there is a ladder in amongst some purple crystals, leading to another hidden tunnel. Another three-quarter mile and there is a large illusion of a spider nest on the left, with a door behind. That is the place to take my corpse, unless I have been eaten by the dragon as the tiefling insinuates.
"Why does Themberchaud stay in the city? What holds him here?" 15 (truth) The psionics of the Keepers of the Flame keep him subdued and controllable, and satisfied with their paltry offerings.
"How would know how to get to the surface?" 5 (truth) The duergar are exceptional craftsmen but poor merchants. Few duergar trade directly with the surface, except for a few smugglers. The deep gnomes are the main traders with the surface, and know many routes.
"Who is your master, and who is the head of the Empty-Scabbard Killers?" 11 (unknown) My master is dead. I am the current leader.
Rhayna frantically records Gorlak’s information on her Journal. At the end of the last answer she gives a heavy sigh, and closes her Journal. “I am going to need to get more ink... I thank you Gorlak, for your cooperation. That’s it folks. What is our next step?”

Pax looks to Kaylyn when the boots are offered. "The better I can get around in combat, the better I can take hits for you guys. If you don't mind, I think they'd be useful for me."
Otherwise she makes sure she's packed up properly, she undoes the hog-tie on Gorlak and redoes the rope so he can walk, but is hobbled (rope between his feet long enough to walk, but not long enough to make long strides). Then she lifts him to his feet and and grabs the end of the rope, and pushes him forward.

"I agree we use the tunnel. Without shrinking." Pax pushes her prisoner ahead of her and heads down the tunnel, checking to make sure his gag is in tight.

Rhayna thinks for a moment. “If I remember correctly. There is a large patch of fungi right after the double doors to the north of here, and a little after that, it splits north west and south. Also, there might be another three chambers after the double doors.” With that said, she starts walking towards the exit of their current cave, something is telling her to go to the fungi patch.

Having packed up, the group escort their prisoner out of the bright cavern and back into the relatively dark caves, dimly lit by the swirling faerzress. Gorlak seems to offer little or no resistance to the capture, but maintains his gruff demeanour behind the beard and scheming look behind the beady white eyes. The flumph floats on ahead and the two myconids bring up the rear beside Rhayna, continuing to silently share their consciousness. Passing the small tunnel through which they came, the party round the long passage described by Useless, and reach a set of double doors made of zurkhwood planks, and barred from this side. Sure enough, the other side is thick with fungus as Rhayna foretold - including trillimacs, tall barrelstalks, and a thick growth of pygmywort and bigwig mushrooms. Pushing through the small grove, the party reach a clearing from which a long and fairly smooth passage extends to the west. More fungus grows opposite the clearing.

Sensing fungi nearby, Rhayna pushes her way to the front, like something or someone is calling for her. “Excuse me, coming through...” She finally sees fungi and mushrooms. She kneels down next to the patch, embraces it, and then all of a sudden she disappears. Like she was sucked into the patch.

Pax glances to the west. Then she sighs and pulls out some paper. She begins writing on it in common.
"Rhayna. You hugged a mushroom and then disappeared. We've gone down the south passage." She folds it, puts a rock on it, then puts rocks into an arrow pointing south.
If Rhayna hasn't returned by then, she shoves the prisoner forward and continues south through the patch.

Pax is halfway through scribbling the note when there is a slight tremor in the ground. Just in front of the nearby fungal patch, a scaly claw protrudes from the rock just at the base of the tunnel wall, after which a limb gradually emerges, followed by another. In a matter of seconds, some kind of hideous creature with three arms, three legs, three eyes, and a mouth full of sharp teeth in the top of its... body?.. has literally crawled out of the living rock, leaving no trace of its passage whatsoever. One yellow eye flicks back and forth between each of the startled faces, and then the mouth moves and emits all manner of guttural thrumming, throbbing and clicking noises.
