Rhayna listens carefully. "It sounds to me like archery target practice. We should proceed with caution. Maybe wait for a break."

@Kastix: There are roughly 200 caltrops on the floor. A normal 'bag of caltrops' is about 20, and covers a 5'x5' square. Each goblin has a small bag that you could use to hold 20 each. Alternatively, you could probably fit 20 into your cooking pot, or you could roll about 60 up in your bedroll (or both).
Kastix will just get a bag of 20 so he doesn't stall the rest.

Rhayna sees Kastix collect the caltrops, so grabs a bag from one of the Goblins and collects some too. She thinks that’s what a proper adventurer would do.

(Assuming Royan opens the door... let me know if you wanted to do anything else...)
Behind the door, a short, narrow corridor adjoins a larger room. The sound of arrows striking targets can now be heard, and it isn't difficult to catch a glimpse of three crudely sewn, human-sized targets hung along the center of the south wall. A few arrows protrude from the targets, and dozens more blunted and broken arrows lie on the cracked cobblestone floor.
Royan turns to the group and whispers, "Does anyone speak Goblin? If we step out there we are going to be just like one of those targets. Maybe if we can get them to come down this way to us we might avoid a few arrows."

The bell can be used, and carried - in fact I'd assumed Kastix stowed it and still has it.
Thaumaturgy is more for impressive, awe-inspired effects. Prestidigitation is probably more appropriate for a bell noise. But if you want to use Thaumaturgy to attempt it, you are welcome to do so. :)

OK, I have Royan at the end of the corridor, and I'll put Ireniana behind him. That's all the space there is in the corridor, so everyone else is in the room with the goblin firepit - Kaylyn next to the door and Kastix behind her, with Rhayna and Meepo further in the room.
As Kastix rings the small bell, the sound of arrows and goblin chatter from around the corner immediately ceases. There are a few moments of pause, followed by some whispering, and then the sound of a door opening and footsteps receding. The whispering continues in brief snatches, until footsteps are heard returning, this time in greater numbers. The whispering turns into quiet talk, and one of the voices appears to be giving commands. There is the sound of shuffling and the soft clatter of weapons as more commands are barked, then it goes silent again.
From where Royan waits and watches at the end of the corridor he can see the three archery targets along the south wall. As the silence drags on, Royan catches a glimpse of movement by the far target, and sees a goblin warrior, with a shortbow drawn and arrow nocked, peering across the room into the end of the corridor. At about the same moment the goblin and Royan see each other, and the goblin barks out a cry of warning, and then retreats back into the room and out of view. The scuffling from further in the room resumes, and another command is barked. Once more the sound of a single set of receding footsteps is heard, and then silence returns once more.

Royan wipes the blood from his blade on the goblins clothes and then looks at the others. "Any idea what that noise may be?"

Ireniana notices the caltrops and collects 20 of them, thinking she will be able to use them later.
I have an intelligence of six, I know what I'm doing.

Kaylyn shakes her head no at the question.
"Perhaps we can draw them down here by doing something that gets their attention? "
She holds out her hand a couple very small lights dance in her hand.
"Something a bit bigger in front of their targets that make them want to come and investigate? "
"I believe i could create the sound of the bell and that could attract their attention," Kastix interjects.
OOC: can I use Thaumaturgy to make bell sounds? Dont think I able to take the bell with me for some reason.
