Ireniana keeps her hand on her swords and sighs. "Goblin adversaries can be pushovers, but if there are more of them, we may be in some trouble."

Rhayna declares. “I shall pray to the Goddess to aid us.” She clutches her holy symbol close to her and will cast Bless (Royan, Ireniana, and Kaylyn) when combat starts.

Kastix will pocket the bell once more as he sighs, "They're a bit smarter than expected,"  pulling out his wand and pointedin general area of he goblin noises. 

"So now what?  Do we rush them and hope for the best or maybe retreat back a room and try and get them curious and headed this way?  We're in for a fight either way." Kaylyn asks, concern in her voice.

"We could either gather together and hope our more magically able can kill them in a small area with spells or try to get them in an area where they can not surround us," Kastix says, "At least that what I can think of,"

Kastix will try to cast Minor Illusion to create the head of Royan peeking around the corner up where I assume the goblin are. If no attacks come, Kastix will encourage one of the others to peek as well. 

Rhayna makes her calculations and intones her prayer while the others give her some room and watch with anticipation. Drawing her arm back, she flicks her whip out toward the target ... and it slips out of her hand, flies halfway across the room, skids across the floor, and lodges under the dummy on the far side of the room. Some goblin muttering can be heard, following by what sounds like goblin snickering. As Rhayna is the only one able to see this outcome, the others continue to wait and watch expectantly, wondering what the next part of Rhayna's brilliant plan is...

As Rhayna makes her way glumly back up the corridor past her companions, Kastix pushes his way forward. He studies Royan's head for a moment, rubs his hands together in front of his face, closes his eyes ... and the image of Royan's head and shoulders appears just past the corner of the corridor, as if looking around the corner. A bark of alarm is heard and suddenly two arrows strike the south wall and clatter to the floor. After some more muttering and what sounds like a slap or two and another command, two more arrows strike the south wall and clatter to the floor. The muttering and snickering continues...

(That's interesting. I originally wrote another work instead of 'snickering' but it recognised part of the word as an offensive word, so blanked it out)

"Hey is that..." Royan gives Kastix a light slap on the back of the head and chuckles. He laughs again as the arrows clatter against the wall. "Brilliant." He says as he ruffles Kastix head. 

"So they're waiting for us, bows drawn," Kastix ignores Royan's actions, "Going forward may use one of us into a pin cushion but no way back unless they chase us. This quite the situation," 

OOC: Kastix collapsed from the light slap in a state of dying.

"If we go back, they might follow us," Ireniana says. "There may not be another way other than moving forward, but we might be able to loosen their ranks." She holds up her waterskin. "Anyone else able to blow some fire breath down their way?"

Meepo, who had curled into a ball when the arrows clattered by, sheepishly scuttles over to Ireniana and taps her to get her attention.

"Goblins scary, have nasty pointy arrows. Meepo not want to get shot. Meepo know other way, long way. Goblins don't."

Meepo pauses, looking to see how the group reacts.

"But we go behind them, surprise! Then we bash their heads in, they not bother Meepo anymore."

Rhayna shakes off her embarrassment, loosing the whip is such spectacular fashion wasn’t the greatest moment in her life. She looks at the group. “I don’t mind going the long way.”

Ireniana nods. "Well, then we can follow Meepo."

Kaylyn smiles down at the kobold.  "Good plan, lets do it.  Show us the way."

Royan whispers to Kastix. "Do you reckon you could do something to make it sound like we are still here after we leave? The longer we have to get away from here the better." Royan will then move up to follow behind Meepo.

"I believe this path will exceed my ability to create sounds in a location but maybe I can scare them a bit," Kastix stated before turning to Meepo, "Lead the way," Kastix will use Prestidigitation to create glowing symbol on the door as we walk back through it. Intent is just scare them a bit and get them to be cautious when they come to the door if possible. 

Meepo tilts his scaly head and looks at Kastix.

"Magic man can stay behind, trick them with magic smoke. Meepo won't be long with others, then we hit goblins from BOTH sides, front and back!"

Once the group has decided on a plan, Meepo leads back the way they came before turning onto a new path.

“... Wait... Are you staying behind Kastix??”

"I think it is probably best if the magic man stays with us Meepo. Why don't you lead the way and show us where we are going."
