If there was anything Sekkar did not like more than demons, that would be the mechanisms - this was even more unnatural than aberrations, at least the latter you could kill. He stood behind Rhayna, in the shadows, studying potential enemies. "Do you know what it is?" Whispered ranger not sure if those things could understand him as well.
"This is a labyrinth, the deeper you go, the more lost you become. Minotaurs' aggression has dramatically increased since Baphomet's arrival and they don't get lost in a maze by nature. The Gnolls are hunters possibility with skills par or greater than Sekkar's tracking ability. Given your cleric's departure speed, she may not slow down for a while, while Sekkar may be able to keep up, I do no know if we, as a group, have the same ability as the distance between us increases> i have done research and I believe I have the knowledge to track better (proficiency bonus) but my tracking (survival) ability has much to be desired," Kirin gives a very long winded explanation before seeing Kaylyn grabbing another feather, "We have more then what was needed so best we locate our missing party members post haste,"

Touching the smiling angel causes a brief mental discomfort to Kaylyn, but the feeling passes quickly. Eager to be done with these powerful yet powerless celestials, Kaylyn crosses the cave to the angel that conceals its face with its hands. Upon making contact, Kaylyn understands that it is named Nemevon, and hears in her mind a soft voice repeating two words over and over in the Celestial language: Kill me. Kill me.
Kirin is ready to depart, and apparently with the fourth feather obtained so is Vizeran, and he and Kleve follow Kirin out of the chamber and back into the spiral tunnel.
Kaylyn and Pax are the last two left in the Gallery of Angels.

Rhayna has certainly read about these creatures, and knows they are called modrons - beings from the plane of Mechanus, and creations of the god-like being Primus. Their purpose is to increase order in the universe, but their methods and programming are beyond mortal comprehension. Rhayna's knowledge is purely academic however, and she has never actually seen one until now and doesn't have any idea how to interact with them. Sekkar is no help at all, and seems ready to simply tear them apart without further deliberation.
(Rhayna's fear has now subsided, and she can go back to routine operating protocols)

Rhayna is delighted for meeting new beings that she has only read about them. She cautiously raises a hand and says. "Greetings!" After the information overload, she is not sure of where she is, or what exactly is she doing in this very strange place. She also doesn't realize Sekkar is behind her.

Kaylyn pauses a moment and wishes for a moment that she could fulfill the wish but knowing she could not she simply whispers "Thank you for your gifts."
So wrapped in the moment and feeling empathy for the angels she has missed that Rhayna has left. If she had been paying better attention she would have sent Pensive after her so they would know where she was.
Turning from the last angel she touched she hears Kirin. "Yes, I think we are done here. Where is Rhayna?"
She allows Kirin to usher her from the gallery clearly affected by the experience in the gallery of angels.
The group depart the gallery, but the voice of the final angel continues to sound in Kaylyn's mind... Kill me! Kill me!
Rhayna and Sekkar are nowhere in sight but the signs of their passing aren't difficult to follow...

Sekkar/Rhayna (still separated from the others)
The pyramid-shaped creature turns at Rhayna's greeting, but doesn't immediately respond. Instead it looks directly at her for a few moments, then makes some whirring and clicking noises. It seems to Rhayna that this must be the equivalent of language for these creatures...

The tridrone does a complete rotation in response to Rhayna's question... the meaning of the gesture is unclear but this time when the front-facing side moves its mouth (each side has a single eye and mouth) Rhayna understands the meaning of the clicks and whirrs:
Do not attempt to impede/obstruct/hinder us. We are on a mission of supreme difficulty/importance/magnitude.
Rhayna also notices that the tridone clutches a javelin in each of its three 'arms', and scuttles like a crab when it moves laterally.

Sekkar scratched his chin rather impatiently. "Are they going to attack or what?"Strange moving contraptions did not look that threatening but javelins are javelins and the ranger kept watching mechanical movements ready to pounce at the sign of attack.
“WOW!!!” Rhayna turns around. “Sekkar!! By the Goddess. You scared the bejesus out of me.” (Are we allowed to say that here?? LOL) With the jolt from Sekkar’s sudden appearance, she tries to put behind her the countless memories from the Angel, and return to the present. “Them?” She points to the strange creatures. “Those are Modrons, and they come from a different plane of existence, actually. The leader.” Rhayna nods to the triangular unit. “It said that they are in some sort of very important mission, and do not wish to be interfered.”

"Modrons."Sekkar repeated the word a few times memorizing it. "Do we wish to interfere?"He saw no reason for that - it's not like the labyrinth did not have other corridors to go or that the group actually knew which direction they need to move - but who knows. He was a bit out of his element with these creatures. "Do they know where we can find “devil’s mushrooms” or goristos in here? Would save some time."
The tridrone stares at Rhayna and Sekkar as they communicate together, though whether it is curious or defensive or both or neither is unclear. However it frequently turns to adjust the trajectory of one of the monodrones to keep it from wandering off, instead trying to maintain them in their back-and-forth pattern across the tunnel. If Rhayna had to guess she would say that the tridrone seems... frustrated. The monodrones make the occasional clicking or grinding noise that evidenly means nothing, but these noises are interspersed with actually words in the Modron language:
"This is good but let's see if anyone else has being following them," Kirin stated as they follow the two's track and he looks for any other creatures' tracks, "Do remember to mark our path if possible,"
Survival: 2 (+3 if I get bonus)

Kaylyn looks back at the gallery of angels as she hears the voice in her head again. She shook her head and turned her attention back to the matter at hand, finding Rhayna and Sekkar. The other angel had not answered her and neither did this one and she knew of know way kill one who was already petrified. Such a sad situation.
Trying to assist Kirin with following the tracks of their companions she also wants to make sure they were not followed.
Kirin occasionally stops and points nervously to some fresh and suspicious tracks, only for Kaylyn to point out that those are Sekkar's claw marks or tail tracks, or the scrape of Rhayna's staff. Pax brings up the rear, keeping a careful watch for any danger, and not forgetting that two powerful demon lords are reportedly in this region. After following the tracks for about a quarter of a mile, they finally see Sekkar and Rhayna in the tunnel ahead, with several small construct creatures not much further past.
Rhayna recalls that modrons are best known for the Great Modron March, an event that occurs every 289 years (seventeen cycles of the plane of Mechanus) and that involves a massive, mostly suicidal pilgrimage of modrons through the Outer Planes, as well as into the Material Plane. If her memory serves, the records indicated that the last March was about two hundred years ago, so it is possible that these modrons are lost and have been wandering the Labyrinth for that long, and may be deteriorating mentally.
