"Regardless of your decision, though, it seems there is one thing I can do for you right now. My dear Lady, would you allow me to look at those dwarven runes you mention?" He realigned his pretty useless now pince-nez and looked at the scroll.

If there isn’t anything else happening. Rhayna will take her leave and rest for the night. I hope that the Hyena count as her part of the watch. 

Kastix goes to sleep his typical holding his bag in his arms while in his bedroll after seeing up the bell alarm again. 

Ireniana will rest as well and take first watch.

Kaylyn will hand the scroll to Erky to look at. 

As everyone manages to bed down for a rest, Kastix rolls eyes as the two clerics compare notes, thinking it was bad enough with just one of them. Royan and Ireniana tend to their weapons, oiling and sharpening their blades. Kaylyn hands the bone scroll case to Erky, who spends a few moments examining it, both inside and out. The runes on the outside simply spell the word "Khundrukar." An old parchment is within the case. Age and water damage have destroyed most of it, but a short message in Dwarvish remains:

" ... the remaining few. By order of Durgeddin the Black, we have created a secret dwarven redoubt. None shall find us; however, ... "

There is also a map which is legible enough that you can recognise it as a map of the area not far to the east, with an X marking a location within the Troll Mountains (south-east of your current location). Ireniana takes the first watch, but after a quarter-hour realises the giant hyena and black bear outside the door are probably deterrent enough and she retires, with all enjoying an uninterrupted sleep. When you arise, the hyena and bear are nowhere to be seen, but with no tracks leading away - they appear to have just vanished.

Royan wakes from his his sleep, restd after having been able to sleep a full night without having to take a shift on watch. He takes a moment to stretch and goes through a short training routine to keep his sword play sharp. After doing so he makes sure the others are up and prepares a little breakfast. 

“So, I guess today we see what is behind door number one.”

"You're point man," Kastix tosses the key to Royan and then move so he's off the side rather than straight now with the door.

Royan checks with the others that they are ready (Insert other player posts here). He then moves over to the door and, very warily, tries to use the key in the lock. on the dragon door.

It looked like party did not mind Erky's presence and he did not raise the question himself. His morning consisted of brief prayer to Oghma and a thousand thanks for the real breakfast. Erky with his "bag of animals" was ready to help.

Ireniana nods and stretches. "I am ready" and takes her place to Royan's right with her weapons in hand.

Rhayna fixes her glasses and her black fedora. “Ready.”

Kastix look at Erky with the bag of Tricks, "Why don't you pull one first so we know know what get rather than guessing,"

Royan looking around the group as the make t Wie final preparations, looks at Erky. Yes he had his little bag, but otherwise he was defenceless. Taking his dagger from his belt he hands it to Erky. 

“I want this back when we get out of here, Okay?”

"Thank you," Erky a bit awkwardly placed dagger on what was left of his belt. "It will be returned with that magical bag the moment we finish our mission or at your first request!"

"I've got my old leather armor that you can use if you like Erky.  It's better than nothing. "  she says.   "And thanks for looking at the scroll for me." She adds as she shares some of her rations with him. 

"I'm ready to go. "

"Incredibly kind of you!" Erky bowed again - now he was truly ready to go.

As the party are breaking camp and preparing to attempt the dragon door, the pitter-patter of clawed feet can be heard from the east. Your guard is dropped however when Meepo's head appears around the doorway. He grins his draconic grin at you all and says:

Meepo come to thank big ones who help Meepo. Calcryx safe. Calcryx wake up and like new home. Big home. Meepo new job. Meepo ... (and he struggles a bit with this new word) ... head chamberlain ... for Calcryx. Big job. Meepo happy.

Meepo drops a few more items on the floor, including his sling, a small wooden shield, and an empty leather pouch, and says: Meepo new job. Meepo no need these now. Big ones can take.

He then turns to Kaylyn and says: Calcryx angry his treasure gone. Calcryx want shiny things back. But Calcryx not see these...

and he produces three more jade dragon figurines, similar to the one found in Calcryx's lair. He looks pleadingly at Kaylyn and says: You like we swap. Meepo give shinies back to Calcryx.

"Yeah,  sure, I don't want to cause trouble for you."  As she hands the items back and accepts the new ones in return. 

"Good luck with the new job! "  she says  cheerfully. 

After he leaves she casts Detect Magic on the new items. 

Meepo takes the crystal goblet and the silverware in exchange for the three jade statuettes. He then gleefully skips away to begin his new posting.

Kaylyn's spell reveals no magical aura surrounding the statuettes.
