Rhayna will rest for a little while. She will store the scrolls into her backpack.

“Thank you Erky.” Royan takes the chance to remove his pack and stretch.

"So which route should we take? I want to move deeper into goblin domain. Royan wishes to check out that cold dragon door we encounter near the fountain," Kastix asked the group.

"I'd like to open the door where the fountain is.  We have the ability, I believe, to open it now.  Such a door must hold something of interest behind it to be protected in such a way."

Kaylyn answers. 

After the short rest, Rhayna says. “I am ready to leave when everyone is ready.”

When the group is at the location, Rhayna makes sure that everyone is ready and cast Channel Divinity: Turn Undead on the door.

The door opens ...

(Sorry but I'll have to take a rain check. Will get back to you in about 36 hours. Meanwhile, imagine the most horrible, terrifying, evil thing you can possibly think of and multiply it… by six!)

Five dusty sarcophagi, three to the north and two to the south, stand upright in this silent chamber. Each of the carved stone coffins resembles a noble, elf-like humanoid in ceremonial robes. An altar of black obsidian is set in the center of the west wall. Six small alcoves are carved into the front of the altar, five of which are empty while the sixth contains a small jade dragon figurine, similar to those collected by Kaylyn. A single candle burns brightly on the altar. 

Kaylyn is immediately drawn to the jade figurine.  Though she assumes it isn't magical, just like the others aren't, she casts Detect Magic as she enters the room and goes to pick up the figurine.

Royan follows behind Kaylyn as she enters the room. He first observation is the lack of an exit beside the one they had just come through, still, it had been his suggestion to come here, so they needed to be thorough. "Kaylyn, do you think that maybe that is where the other figurines came from?" Royan indicated the other alcoves. "I wonder why they were removed."

"More Dragon priests you think?" Kastix asked as he walks in and looks around the room, "A room only clerics could enter? That's suspicious,"

Curious Erky entered too. "Do you mean you have other six figurines and want to try to put them in every alcove? Though, if they are all from here, why would they be misplaced? And by whom? I wish more people were as accurate in recording their deeds as our Troll friend."

Irenaina enters the room as well. "I think we could try placing the figurines first. Not everyone is dedicated in recording their history I suppose." She walks over to the alter, her hand on her sword.

“Humm... I will wait outside of the room. It looks crowded in there. Do let me know if I am needed.” Says Rhayna.

Kaylyn's magical radar detects only the candle, which appears to be under the same type of spell as the torches in the troll's room. The group mills about the room, looking curiously at the altar. Kaylyn reaches out to pick up the single figurine, when the coffins along the side walls open and a skeletal figure emerges from each one, clad in what's left of long-decayed priest robes, similar to those worn by the troll. A pinpoint of red light glows in each eye socket, and each wields a different weapon, etched with Draconic script but rusted with time.

"Everybody back to the hallway," Royan yells to the others. His hope is that by limiting them to 1 or 2 fighting at a time in the doorway, they may have a better chance.

Royan waits to see if the others move.

• If they do, Royan will disengage, if needed, and move back to place himself just outside the door.
• If they don't move then Royan will attack the closest skeleton before moving back toward Kastix to help him out. (no disengage)

The room is small enough that it almost doesn't matter exactly where anyone is, the skeletons could reach one person each. But Kaylyn and Ireniana showed the most interest in the altar, so I put Kaylyn beside NW coffin, Ireniana beside SW coffin, Royan beside the middle N coffin (as he followed Kaylyn), Erky beside the NE coffin, and Kastix beside (or near) the SE coffin. 

Erky Initiative: 20 (guess, he really wanted to live!)

Erky jumped up in the air at the sudden appearance of the skeletons and run outside as fast as his little legs allowed him, calling out for the Black Bear that he left by the door. (Disengage, run outside)

"Everyone out of the room! Kastix shouts as he disengages and head for the door.

Ireniana will follow Royan's advice and disengage to run outside.

Initiative: 20

Rhayna will cast Sacred Flame on the Skeleton that is next to Kastix. (DMG: 3) She steps back, closer to the fountain to make sure there is enough space for everyone in front of the door she just opened.
