"At this point, assume everything will try to kill us especially undead creatures under commands of this outcast," Kastix whispers

“I don’t know if we need to fear those skeletons. They seem to be not seen concerned with tending their gardens. It me y be that they simply need to be left to their business.”

@ALL: The skeletons make no move to interfere with or acknowledge you, despite the fact that the southern one approaches within 10 feet of Royan in the course of its gardening duties. No other creatures are moving in this chamber.

Kastix will look around the garden and at what the skeletons are trying to grow underground

Investigation 14

Kastix walks quietly through the southern garden, past the seemingly oblivious skeleton. He observes a variety of fungi that grow among the soft peat, several species of mushrooms of various sizes, and a dry, woody, familiar-looking sapling that ATTACKS him! Surprise round! Claw Attack: 11 Damage: 4
The sharp woody twigs fail to pierce Kastix's clothing, but now the skeleton's respond to the twig monster's ambush by turning from their duties to approach the heroes menacingly, brandishing their shovels. Another twig monster from the west garden also approaches.

Erky regretfully admitted, that he was getting battle reflexes now and ready to answer violently right away rather than talk things through. Yet again, that particular shrub did not talk much. He sighed and sent little Jackal to help Kastix 

 Correction: Erky will use Turn Undead staying close to the north entrance, so that skeletons would not leave the room and wonder away.

"Well, it wasn't the skeleton that attacked." She says keeping half an eye on them as she sends a blast of eldritch energy at the plant thing that attacked.

(If there are any Twig Blights left, otherwise Rhayna will hit one of the Skeletons) Rhayna brings her pendant towards monsters and cast Sacred Flame (Dex Save DC 14. DMG: 4)

”We gave you a chance,” Royan says as he steps up to one of the skeletons and strikes it with his longsword.

COMBAT:

Weapons already out, the two battle-hardened warriors leapt into action at the first sign of trouble, moving north and quickly dispatching the now-hostile skeleton and the walking twig monster with masterful and coordinated maneuvers.

Along the southern wall, Rhayna's inspection of the room was interrupted by the cry of warning from Kastix, she released another celestial beam onto the offending plant creature, blackening its woody exterior but not halting its movement until a blast of arcane energy from Kaylyn smashed it to splinters.

In response to the twig's ambush of Kastix, the nearby skeleton raised its shovel threateningly, but Kastix danced deftly aside of its cumbersome swing. Ironically, the skeleton's erratic movements meant that the shovel moved spasmodically into the line of Kastix's relatiatory fire bolt, blocking the spell.

Erky, caught off-guard by the unexpected ambush, called on divine aid to sway the skeleton from its programmed task, but the allegiance of the undead to its creator was strong and it resumed its shovel swinging. Fearing the strength of the creature, Erky bravely moved to block the exit, while commanding the summoned Jackal to gnaw on the animated bones, but again the jerky swings of the shovel foiled the snapping jaws.

If skeleton manges to survive until Kastix act, he'll just shout in frustration and attempt to punch the skeleton.

His frustration  is really showing.

Truly, how hard can it be to bite a bone?! Any decorative microscopic abomination noble ladies call "dogs" can do it! Yet, Jackal could not! Erky encouraged poor animal and added his personal touch:

Royal advances on the remaining skeleton. They must have been set to guard these twigs.

Kaylyn shifts her focus to the remaining skeleton and sends a blast of energy at it.

Irenaina is going to ready an action. Seeing her companions handling the remaining skeleton, she will watch the entrance. If anything comes into the room and is a threat, she will attack it.

((I am about to fly to the USA for a month-long holiday with the family. I will still be able to post regularly, but will be on a plane or dealing with airports for the next day. just a heads up.))
