Triscyne keeps pace with the Dragonborn, hoping the man will be cured of his affliction upon reaching the stone. For the moment, he decides not to intervene, although he does stay light on his toes in case a sudden outburst comes his way.

Duncan has been watching al this, ready act on either the floating stone, or the Dragonborn. Though seeing his companions seemingly handling things holds back ready to act if needed.
(To be clear, the Dragonborn is on the ground, covered in boils, reaching for the stone, getting choked and invaded by vines that were on him before he entered the circle? Or are the vines growing out of the ground within the circle, as if trying to stop him from getting the stone? By all means, be obtuse in your answer if it's something the characters can't obviously see)
The vines are growing out of the Dragonborn and then slithering back in, slowly covering its entire body. They do not take root in the ground that you can see.
Duncan is having the same thought. Seeing the Dragonborn seemingly unable to speak, but entering their tent for some reason, will start to cut at the vines with the blade on his glaive, or a pocket dagger.
She cuts away a portion, the Dragonborn's body lurches as the vines recoil in pain. Black and purple ichor coats your dagger and spills on the ground. Blighting the grass and withering it to dust.
Damaia takes a step back as the grass near her feet dies. "Well, that ain't good." She turns to the others and says, "I'd appreciate it if you'd help out with these vines."
Seeing the vines wither the ground around and that cutting them does not have much effect Kodiak turns back to the rest of the group. "I know what I said before but I think the stone might be the best chance of a cure. Cutting them doesn't seem to have much effect and I for one don't know enough about medicine to cure blighted vines. I say we give the dragonborn the stone."

(Sorry been a bit busy.) As Dimble pushes the stone to the Dragonborn 2 things happen. First as tithe some touches the Dragonborn the boils and vines burn away to ash and blow away to dust. Second the light of the stone and the circle are snuffed out.
In the dim light of the fire you watch as the Dragonborn lies motionless.

The Dragonborn's eyes are pleading for help, and they are trying to claw to the stone.
Dimble is hesitant, but decides to move away and let someone decide the fate of the man/stone
After joining more my signature got out of hand so I am now a proud member of the extended signature club!! :)
Gonna put down an initiative here. At this point the Dragonborn's eyes glaze over and roll back.

Kodiak draws his sword and holds himself ready to spring into an attack if the dragonborn makes a threatening move.
(OOC: holding an attack action for any threatening move towards a member of the party)

Dragonborn: takes damage from the vines causing one death save failure.
Death save 20
So one failure one success.

Can Damaia cut the vines with her dagger(s)?
Damaia can.

"For research!" Dimble will use mage hand to move the stone to the dragonborn. "If this goes wrong, blame Kodiak"

If Dimble does this, can Damaia use her movement to run the **** away because she doesn't want to be anywhere near the stone.
OOC: I'm waiting for Jasmal to take her turn, am I mistaken and was my turn up?
