Grenks initial thought was to run forward. He took a step in that direction and then seeing everyone run the other direction. With a sigh he took off after them and dove to make it under the stone.
With a rumbling thud and burst of dust, the massive granite stone crunches to the ground, sealing Silas within as everyone else rolls free into the daylight. The hard fought for cubes and Silas remain locked away.
As well, looking around, you see no sign of Mandra.
What do you guys do? (Besides mocking Sickle for being considered "the weakest party member"...snort snort snort...)
Badger will cast Clairvoyance to place a sensor inside the room where Silas is. He will switch between sight and sound as required to see or hear what Silas is doing (knowing that he can't communicate back) and relay any information back to the others.

Badger casts his spell, focusing the arcane energy on the space on the other side of the stone barrier...but as he releases the energy the spell seems to just dissipate....fizzling before he can sense anything.

Sickle’s rippling muscular chest and arms sprout hair .....
LOL.
Sickle's form shimmers into that of a badger that begins to dig, but...the ground before the cliff face is solid rock under just a couple inches of dirt, as is the rocky cliff face all around the tunnel. His sharp claws scrape against the hard rock to little effect. He's not going to be able to burrow through here.
Badger rubs his nose in thought. He has so little magic left in him that there is not much he can offer. Silas is presumably well enough but simply trapped. Perhaps Sickle can perform his stone-shaping trick again, but he too might be fatigued. They might simply have to return after a rest.
Not having much hope, Badger nevertheless goes to inspect the 'second smaller tunnel' to the right and check for any hidden passages that might link up to the blocked room.

Badger turns and heads down the passage to the left. It seems too far and in the wrong direction to link up, but you pass the various statues of the nine trickster gods in their alcoves and recall searching this hallway well. Alcoves run the length of the narrow tunnel, each one featuring a the trickster god statues standing or squatting above a basin of oil. As before you note four on each side, standing in opposition, with Unkh missing. As you reach the end the hallway, you note a thin amount of light and hear the sound of a flame roaring to life. Examining the end, you press accidentally on a small stone and the end of the hallway opens up, revealing a hidden alcove. This alcove to reveal a statue of Unkh over a basin of oil which is burning brightly. You look down at the Unkh cube still in your hand. It seems this fire lit when you came near to it this time.

Badger will walk up to the statue, holding the cube, and see if anything else happens or if there is anywhere to place the cube.
The message from the obelisk comes back to mind: One stands between them. In darkness, it hides. Unkh stands in neutrality between all the other gods. His statue was hidden in darkness. Perhaps there is something else hidden here.

How does a red dragon blow out the candles on its birthday cake?
Mal will follow along behind Badger out of curiosity as she has yet to see much of this cave as the Thayans did not let her in here to search. Giving a look around as well to see if she sees anything.
Mal and Badger look around in the passage for a short time....while Grenk, Sickle and Boris try to get leverage under the door. It seems to have slid into a small indent though so getting under it to get some lift seems next to impossible. That said, only a minute after it shut, the door begins to grind upwards. Boris drops to the ground to peer into the growing opening. "Guys, you ok? Guys?"
A plume of yellowish caustic gas pours out into his face and he rolls away coughing. Sickle and Grenk move back as the poison gas seeps out of the passage as the door fully opens with a shuddering thud. The vines and plants around the entrance turn black and curl up in death as the gas, a mix of acid and potent poison slowly clears the room. Looking into through the poison and down the hallway, there is no sign of either Mandra or Silas. No body. No gear on the ground, no writing on the wall. Just....gone.
At the end of the passage the 8 cubes are laying on the ground, having fallen out of their positions in the door.

“What the...where’s they go?” Sickle joins the others in looking for any sign of what happened to Silas and Mandra. “I can cast a spell to try and find Silas’s cape, unless there is another suggestion.”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Badger pokes around in the dust. "Perhaps the acid completely dissolved him", he ponders. But he will search around the area nearby to look for any sign.
The group wanders back into the hallway, poking around. Badger and Sickle both look around on the ground...the scuff marks from the whole group being in here, then running away...obscures any chance of them spotting tracks. The glance about on the walls...the vines, moss and roots hanging from above show no sign of secret doors or being moved. The door at the end also has vines and moss around the edges and doesn't seem to have moved.

Badger thinks: "Silas teleported deeper into the cliffs? Well his cape is there at any rate."
Evidently there is more to learn before this cube puzzle is solved. For now Badger will gather up the cubes. Until someone else comes up with any ideas, Badger will sit cross-legged on the ground and meditate on the problem, also hoping to regain some of his magic.

Sickle sighs. “I feel his cape, but whether the cleric is attached or not...” he trails off, and goes and sits by a wall, reaching out his senses into the world around him, connecting with the ways of the ancients, though that connection is disturbed by the choking death that permeates the ground here.
(Natural recovery for me for a short rest. Hit dice rolls for any of our hurt companions?)
When they are finished, Sickle will suggest taking the cubes down the tunnel with the oil buckets to see if they will light. (And explode and kill us all.)
Everyone can go up a level. You gain any additional hps, and gain the benefit of a short rest.
(an hour passes)
After the short time meditating, Sickle makes his suggestion to Badger. Short on ideas, he heads down the tunnel with the rest of the cubes. Indeed, as expected, as he passes each spot in the hallway with the cubes, the pot of oil lights up. He moves down lighting the 8 remaining alcoves. When he reaches the end the group hears the slight sound of rock moving and behind the Unkh statue a small alcove has opened. Within the alcove lays a golden pendant shaped like an eye. It is covered in a thick layer of dust, having lain undisturbed for years.
