Mal holds up the gold key....it dissolves into dust before her eyes.

Mal looks at her empty hand where once she was holding a key and starts to swear as she starts to pace back and forth, mumbling and cursing under her breath. Every now and then she stops her pacing and eyes the tunnel that leaves this room as she slams her fist against the wall and continues her furious pacing.

Badger is still eyeing the minotaurs, studying their response to the cleric's rebuke. Why don't you attack them while they are frightened? he asks. Wouldn't it be easier to destroy them one by one than waiting for them to come back? If the others agree with his assessment, Badger will cast Magic Missile (at first level for 12 force damage) at the minotaur that has been scared for the longest and/or looks the most damaged.

Silas shows his bloody gauntlet from when the singular minotaur nearly knocked him out in one shot, "Do not underestimate even a single one! I am only remained stand by blessing of Torm (death ward). I can not turn them anymore now as well. Should our comrades return with necessary keys, we can retreat rather than waste our limited resources,"

OOC: Silas's out of Channel divinity, half of spell slots and really low on Health. 

Well now the sarcophagus is open, I don't think we require any more keys, croaks Badger. But I'm not certain whether they can leave the maze without one.

If we aren't attacking the minotaurs then, Badger will instead root through the salt-filled coffin some more and see if there are any other goodies inside.

Seeing the Minotaur, and worried that he hasn’t found his friends, Sickle decides to regroup.  He drops his eagle form (bonus action), reassumes it, and flies out of the maze again.

From the maze, a giant eagle comes flopping out of the wall and lands unceremoniously on the floor with a boom.  17 Force damage. 

Badger digs through the sand and finds another 8 bracelets that are shiny...for a total of 10, plus the robe. 

Badgers: In your head, the voice of Obo'laka speaks, "Careful!  Watch out!  There could be anything in that salt!"  You ignore it as you find the bracelets.  Mal, frustrated, heads towards the hidden hallway behind one of the Minotaur rooms.

Mal walks down the passage.  As she takes a step in the hallway, she seems to pass through some sort of field, because suddenly she can hear a loud, rythmic ticking coming from up ahead.  It looks like the hallway turns left and, peeking around the corner, she sees it opens into a room.  The room contains a wooden cabinet with a numbered dial at its top set with two ornate metal spokes. Beneath the dial, a pendulum swings inside an open compartment. An egg·shaped stone adorns the pendulum's tip.

Stepping backwards where the field is leaves the ticking sound behind. It seems as if it's a sound barrier...sound from either side of the field does not pass through.  The clock shows that its currently 1 : 30

Oh what now!, Mal thinks after seeing the mechanism, she shakes her head turns around and then heads back to the others.

Oh, is that Sickle? ribbits Badger. Well I guess we are all here then. He hippity-hops down from the sarcophagus to see if the giant-eagle-which-is-Sickle is unharmed.

Badger the bouncing gnome observes a beaten bird before him. But Eagle-Sickle ruffles his head feathers, then flattens them, preens them twice, then looks toward the exit where Mal left.

"We got the key? We got our party? We are leaving then," Silas states as he moves towards the doorway out. 

"If there is no reason to be in the room, then let's not be in the room."  Grenk grunts out.  He'd back away slowly from the skeletons lest he be attacked from the rear.

"Do we have the skeleton key yet? Is it still in this room or has it fled and we still need to hunt it down." Then she points back down the tunnel, "That way is a dead end with some mechanism that ticks in it. I saw it but never entered the room."

Not yet, Badger replies. Let's have a look around while we have some respite from those minotaurs. As the group make their way toward the exit, Badger scans the room looking for anything they might have missed that resembles the skeleton key. He looks up as well as down. He looks at the minotaurs as well if they are still within sight, in case their bones are partly formed from the key. In particular he is expecting to see a hexagon-shaped version of the keys they have already found. Perception: 17

He gets a good look at the rest of the minotaurs, they do not appear to have keys built into them. The other two keys looked very clearly like creepy skeletons that could invert it's limbs and walk up walls on all fours, etc.  He sees nothing like that here. He sees no other sign that a skeleton key could be here.  The giant eagle ferry's everyone across the acid pit to the safety of the other side.  The minotaurs stay hidden in their alcoves and aren't visible from the edge of the pit.  They don't emerge even after Silas' holy power has faded away.

Badger squats down on the floor/steps and gathers the colorful cloak around him. Maybe Sickle needs to perform his divination again, or whatever he did to locate the key-creature before, he mumbles. He still has a rather nauseous feeling and wouldn't mind a little rest. Closing his eyes for a moment, he concentrates on the ritual that allows him to divine the properties of magic objects, focusing on the cloak.

While everyone is crouched on the stairs, Mal looking to be in a fairly foul mood....Silas looking exasperated with all this key business, and Grenk just stolidly glancing about...wounds on his body leaking blood, Badger casts identify.  The Robe is a Robe of Scintillating Colors. 

The group sits around and discussed it, eventually handing the robe to Mal.  She puts the pretty thing on....and.... slime pours from the folds of the scintillating robe to take the form of multiple flail-like pseudopods. A female voice echoes through the stairwell, "I can help you. At least, I think that's what I'm supposed to do."

(Mal, make a Charisma saving throw.)

Badger, in your head your voice says, "Unkh!  Unkh is ok.  A little neurotic, if you know what I mean, but .... we get along ok.  Not like that damned I'jin...I see that jerk face and I'll break its spiritual skull!"
