Mal re-enters the room, crossbow at the ready, "They all dead now, no more popping in and out?" Following Grenk's lead she will move from body to body and slice off their heads with her scimitar.
Then she will look around the room to check the status on her companions. "How is everyone doing?"
Seeing the last of the witches fall, Badger slumps down inside the transparent sphere, lays back against its smooth interior, and sighs deeply... not so much out of exhaustion, but out of disappointment that he didn't get the chance to turn one of the witches into a frog and drop it into the swirling vortex along with the demon-frog and the robot-frog. He watches with some disgust as Mal and Grenk chop heads off corpses, and he gets a strange flashback of Sir Darak's mutilated body in the forest. What a world away that seemed to be now - the stinking hot, humid, insect-infested, zombie-infested, dinosaur-infested man-eating-plant-infested... forest. Badger didn't miss it one bit. But this place! This dark, cold, underground maze... it was like heaven! Well it could be one day, after all the hostile monsters were gone and the dangerous traps disarmed. Then Badger would clean the place up, reset the traps, create new non-hostile (to him) monsters, and he would live comfortable and alone in a burrow like no gnome had ever enjoyed, spending his days unravelling the many magical secrets of...
The bubble pops and Badger finds his little tranquil moment ruined as he is dumped onto the dungeon floor. Picking himself up as quickly as possible to preserve some dignity, he looks to the others and says: All fine here, thank you. Now about those keys...
The villager crawls out from under a table....and silently looks around for a few moments....then....without warning, scream "WOOOOO!" and pumps his fist in the air. Several people in the room startle...including Keshma...though she so quickly recovers you're not sure it happened. She frowns at the man, "Shut yer yap fool." She sighs, "Good think I was here, or you'd all have died. My hammer has crushed more than a few fiend skulls in its time." She glances over at Grenk, "So....where to next?"
The three little doll creatures come out of hiding, the little monkey unicycle doing little circles, then standing on his hands with his wheel up, then putting it down and doing a few more tricks...while clay no-face sorta of just wobbles out, and seems to be doing a wavey little dance. The straw doll with the pins jumps up and down, "Woohoo! You killed them!! Ya!" (then Grenk saws off a head...). she glances away..."eeeww....oh...." and makes gagging motions...though...apparently has an inability to vomit.
Clay no face walks right up to Badger and....tries to climb his leg. While the straw one walks over to Mal and holds out her hands, as if expecting a hug. The monkey rolls over to Grenk, and grabs a small leather strap on his boot...as if expecting to be pulled along by him where ever he goes.

After the bodies are taken care of Mal will search the bodies and then the room for anything useful or any other knowledge of this place. If any of the three dolls come up to her, she will pick it up and place it on her shoulder as she searches and start to ask it questions about the place. If it has only been in this room or elsewhere or if it had heard any other information that might prove useful for the party as they continue on.
Mal picks up the straw doll and puts her on her shoulder. And....feels a sudden strange feeling flow through her body. She stands there for a few minutes trying to figure out what it was. After about a minute of just standing there, she realizes.....she hasn't taken a breath....nor feels any need to. She also doesn't feel hungry or thirsty.... (You don't have to breath anymore. She also doesn't need food or drink anymore.)
On the witch bodies Mal turns up a variety of stuff. Each witch has a satchel..which is made of human skin..or something similar...is quite gross...but also magical. All three also have a dark magical stone on them. One carries a pouch with twelve lustrous grey marbles in them which are magical. And another has a set of iron keys. The stones, once identified, can case cure disease once per day each. The soul bags apparently are used for gathering souls, but only the witches could make use of them. The lustrous grey marbles are for "activating the pillar and dark pool"....whatever that means.
Grenk will bend down and wipe his blade off on the hags already nasty clothing. In response to the question if everyone is alright, Grenk shrugs, "I could be worse but damn do I enjoy dispatching hags. And we bagged three in one go. A good day's work but I am sew hungry now. Could we stop for some breakfast?"
"Keshma, damn fine smashing. After all this is done, maybe you call if you have any work needed killing fiends or undead or whatever or leave a way to contact you and I could offer employment with pay."
To the little unimonkey, he bends down and gives him a rough pat. "You gonna follow us around? That's all fine and all but you'll need to hide again if things get rough."
As he pats the uni-monkey on the head, the monkey smiles up at him grandly....and then coughs....bits of stuffing coming out of his mouth. Then the two of them are suddenly standing on the ethereal plane. Grenk recognizes it....the monkey is there with him, and just smiles up at him. Then they return back to the real world just as quickly. Everyone else sees the two of them vanish...then a moment later, reappear. Grenk feels.....potential within him....he figures he could Etherealness three times.
Silas takes a minute to preform funeral rites for his dead copy before turning to the others, "Well then, I believe I should state this. When we conclude her business with the soulmonger, I recommend we also destroy this place as much as we are capable of. If a coven of hags were made part of this then this place should be wiped clean. Also I have exahust much of my lower magics for the day. That is all," Silas takes a look around, "Also we should burn this place just to be safe,"

Grenk smiles at the unimonkey. "That was the ethreal plane.... because of you? Thank you little man. That will help quite a bit if any more hags or spirits show up."
He take a moment and joins in with the other, the monkey on his heels. "I agree, when we are done let's raze this place to the grounds... if we can. If not maybe Keshma can berry the entrance pretty throughly. "
All that is left of Fake Silas is a wet stain on the ground where the snow melted, but Silas says proper rights over him nonetheless.
After the statements Keshma shrugs, "Hey, you've got a couple days left.....then I'm outta here...and this cursed magical place resists my attempts to affect it's walls, but, i'll keep trying if that's what you want."

Mal cocks her head for a moment, and then turns to Keshma, "You can't affect the walls to this place directly right?" Then with a glint in her eye, "but can you say I dunno, cause an eruption below it and maybe cause the lava to explode upward below this cursed temple? Then the eruption itself would destroy the temple and everything in it?"
"Owww, that's an idea. We are beside a lava pit so digging like a tunnel to it might work. If not, maybe knocking out the foundation underneath at the very least," Grenk says. He then waves his hands, "First things first. Let's rest regroup and tackle the rest of this."
Badger briefly considers shaking the wierd face-less doll off his leg, but looking down at it he can't help feeling a twinge of pity. Maybe he could even one day find a way to restore it to life. At the least he might be able to draw the thing a face. Reaching down, he lifts the clay doll up and onto his head, to sit on the top of his helm next to Professor Hopkins.
Then he hears the conversation turn to lava and explosions. Now, now, let's not be too hasty, interrupts Badger. All this talk of destroying the dungeon is completely at odds with his own personal vision of the future. Glaring at Silas (who started the topic) he says: Look at that pathetic peasant over there. How do we know there aren't other innocent life-forms trapped in this dungeon? And once the mission is complete, then ... to destroy it? Who's decision is that really? Buried - maybe. Or perhaps it should be turned over to the rightful ruler - that princess or whoever she was - or to some other wise and benevolent caretaker...
Then deciding a change of topic would be wise, he this time agrees with Silas and says: Quite right, quite right. Urgh, who has the keys?
(Badger already saw Grenk go ethereal once before, so doesn't think it unusual to see him do it again)

How does a red dragon blow out the candles on its birthday cake?
(who does have the keys? Grenk I think has them all).
As Clay No-Face clambers up Badger's leg, Badger feels a strange sensation...his mind hearing everyone who speaks but with a strange openness. He figures, regardless of what language they were all speaking, he could probably understand them all. (You have the effect of a Helm of Comprehending Languages.) Clay No-face looks at the frog. The frog eyes the walking clay statue with a bit of concern. Clay No-Face pats the frog on the head. The frog decides the clay statue isn't going to murder it, and so seems to settle down. The two get comfortable sitting on the Gnome's head.
Keshma looks to the group as they suggest her tunning lava around and rolls her eyes. "Sure sure, ya, I'm sure I'll help do that. While we're at it, it'd be great if we could build me a floating castle in the sky...can you guys help with that?" She floats back a bit and leans against the wall, her arms crossed.
(FYI, to be clear, there are 5 small upper doors that have locks/keys on them.....there is no easy/apparent way to use the keys on this big main door yet.
And yes, everyone sits down for a short rest.)

They doors very clearly have a key that matches the five different keys you have. They don't appear trapped. Strawbundle shrugs, "I dunno, they're doors. The witches don't ever use them."
