Mal will pull out one of her scimitars and tap on the glass cylinder to see just how think it is, contemplating just breaking the glass to get to the lever.

Badger rubs his nose in thought. Perhaps the lever can't be moved unless someone is within the cylinder. Badger contemplates teleporting inside, but considers the risk too high for now, at least until they have exhausted all other options.

"Keshma, you got any magic that can help here?  Like can you cause a stone to jut out at and angle to flip the lever or make a hole or door form on that glass?  Heck, even summon a little creature inside to pull it?"

In order to test the safety of the interior of the cylinder, Badger attempts to push Professor Hopkins through the hole. 

(Only if he fits... I don't want to smoosh him... that would defeat the purpose)

If the frog seems to be okay inside, then Badger is willing to Misty Step into the interior and try to move the lever...

The triangle hole is only 1 inch wide.  The glass is 2 inches thick.  Breaking it would be tough, but should be possible unless it's magically hardened.  Getting Dr.Hopkins through without smooshing him won't work.  

Keshma's stomach makes a strange gurgling noise. "The walls and floors of this place don't respond to my magic, otherwise I'd try.  The space is too small for me to summon an elemental in there to take care of the lever....and I could turn into gas to go in....but...then would have to become solid to pull the lever and wouldn't be able to get out until tomorrow..."  She looks and sounds grumpy.

"Well... let's break it then.  If that don't work Badger I'm sure has some fancy magic to do it."  Grenk moves up with the long sword and stops and looks at Mal with her weapons.  " Mal, why don't you and I and Keshma take a swing at it at the same time.  Probably enough force to smash it and just enough space to get a wide side swing.  Thinking with 4 we would be to cramped and could risk hitting each other."

As the three of you surround the cylinder, ready to strike...a blue triangle glows into existence momentarily at your feet...each of you on one point of it, and the glass breaks, clattering to the floor...without a single blow.  

"Wha what?" Grenk says while still holding the sword up.  "Wait, we used a triangle key to get in here.  And we were in a triangle.  Are these all like shape oriented puzzles?  Whatever "  Grenk pulls the lever.

Hmmm, possibly, agrees Badger. The pentagon room required a hand through the demon's mouth. Five fingers. Let's keep this in mind for the others.

Mal looks a bit disappointed in not being given the chance to break the glass, but then shrugs her shoulder and moves back outside the room.

"I will remain here. If something happens I can help but if I am the one trapped, we are in trouble," Silas replies as he tries to suppress the pain.

The lever is hard to pull, but Grenk yanks it over and outside the grinding sound is heard as the triangle on the door lights up. 

The group heads to the next door, a square.  You click the key in, unlocking it, and open the door. This room is filled with flying sheets of parchment, with writing on the pages visible as they flutter by. A metal plate bolted onto the far wall is set with a ghostly lever.

"Should we move in, in a square formation?  Or only 4 people enter the room?  Someone want to toss fire into the room and clear it out, or should does Badger want to catch some paper?" Grenk asks.

Badger nods and attempts to use Mage Hand to grab a piece of flying parchment from the air. Four sides to a page, he says as he thinks aloud about what this puzzle might involve.

The page has two spells on it. dominate monster and instant summons.

Grenk will step into the room.  He'll wave his arms about shoeing away some a paper but will also make a grab at some. Dex check to grab some 8  He'll continue through towards the lever.

Grenk wanders into the room.  There's another paper flying around that he grabs a page.  It has some sort of magical gibberish on it.  He strides over and tries to grab the translucent lever but his hand goes right through it.  It almost looks as if it's on the ethereal plane....

Seeing the pages contain powerful spells, Badger ignores the task at hand and instead attempts to collect as many pages as possible.

Badger grabs another page. Suggestion.  He grabs another.  Protection From Energy.   

Then suddenly all of the papers disintegrate (except the ones already grabbed).  (Grenk's has Feeblemind on it...) 

They all fall onto the floor in bits and pieces and form into a creature!  A mephit made of paper dust....with three identical copies floating around it....

Badger is fumbling with his papers, trying to stow them away while the fight starts, so he's a little slow off the mark.
