Grenk, being one of the most hardy of the group, grips his shield this time and slowly walks the red line trying to keep his eyes open for symbols, traps or other trickery.
Grenk walks to the end of the path. Once again he's staring at a blank wall. He sees nothing special about it. Keshma floats next to him, having ignored the path. "This hallway is really stupid," she mutters.
Zalder, still with ringing ears, follows along. "Is this how this whole place has been? What is going on here?"
Sickle leans against the wall at the end of the hall and watches. Civi moves back another 30 feet and to one side, peaking from far away.

Well here we go again death awaits but someone has to chase after that guy, Mal thinks as she moves forward and also touches the wall following Grenks actions.
Mal touches the wall at the end of the red path and vanishes. Zalder shrugs and touches it and vanishes. Sickle sighs loudly and makes his way down the passage and touches it, vanishing. Keshma is also gone. Badger, Civi, and Silas remain. The only ones not completely destroyed by the wall of annihilation.

Are you crazy? yells Badger (he is still a little deaf from the thunder). I've teleported before and not had any problems. Anything could have happened! They could be in an alternate version of the tomb. They could be stuck in the wall. They might be in another dimension or another plane. They could have been disintegrated. They might be back in that mirror, or transported to some random place in the tomb. You don't know anything!!
The gnome stops and pants a little bit, then pulls himself together. Then with a calmer tone he says: Why don't you go ahead and confirm your theory, while Civi and I wait here?

Yes, well, that makes good sense, mutter Badger reluctantly. He then looks at Silas and asks: I don't recall you telling us exactly where you went. When you teleported inside the tomb before. I remember there was some hideous-smelling creature... but where did you go? And will they others not just return as you did that time?

My memory is not great but we did, I have a mirror for claoyriance if possible but I can not cast it this day," Silas explains, "Even if they can return, it was still a timely journey in the dark for myself,"

Tell me more about this place, Badger prompts, while he closes his eyes and uses his helm to read the thoughts and images in Silas' mind. If he feels like he has gained enough information about the location, Badger will attempt to cast Clairvoyance to see that location, using one of the coloured eye gems they found as a focus.
(Not sure if that's stretching the bounds of the spell too much.)

Badger uses his helm to read Silas' thoughts, then casts his Clairvoyance spell, looking into the colored gem. He sees....Sickle, and...Keshma....and Mal and Grenk. Their bodies appear to be at the bottom of a massive pit. The pit's bottom is nothing but sharp spikes that extend up thirty feet from a bone filled floor. Their bodies are all skewered and horribly mangled by the spikes. One and all they appear to be dead, their sightless eyes staring directly into Badger's eyes....through the colored crystal....asking why...why Badger....why....

Badger is NOT going near the red path. He's a bit insulted that Silas would suggest his divination is faulty, but has to admit that his last attempt failed completely, and perhaps isn't ready to come to terms with the death of his companions, so he agrees to search for them.
"Howe did you escape from this place last time?" he asks Silas.

When Silas went somewhere last time, he "teleported" back out of it by doing something with some sort of mechanism. It was otherwise a dead end.
