"Oh yes we are adventurers, most assuredly. We also have a small sampling of what we found out in the wilderness! See We couldn't carry it all back but we brought some! Now I figure we could easily negotiate a trade for these items and then discuss about the cache in the woods. Some nasty goblins had it all and we dealt with them toot sweet!" Gniff displays one of the breastplates the group had been carrying.
"Well, if making coin is what you're looking for, no group of adventurers of can be complete without someone to record their heroic deeds and sing their praises. Rescued a damsel in distress? Saved and kingdom from certain destruction? Nobody will care if they haven't heard about it first." then with a slight bow "That's where I come in. Harold Plaugg singer and poet extraordinaire. For just he paltry sum of an equal share of the profits, I'll join your able group and make sure you're remembered for eternity."
“Yeah I could see him fitting in well. And who knows, maybe his songs will bring us more renown and coin. Got a song for us now, “Harold Plaugg singer and poet extraordinaire?” Gimble adds with a soft smile. “Let’s have some music or tales over a meal? I’m sure these people would love some entertainment with their evening meals.”
Leaning over to Misty, Gimble asks, “Have you Ben hearing those two over there, nodding towards Narth and Aster. There’s seems to be some hush hush type of conversation. Could be our Red Brands, could be something else entirely.”
At that, he downs his drink and waves Elsa over. “When she gets there, he asks, “Hey there were basic beers available with the rooms right? Can I get one of those, please?”
@ Misty, Gimble Harold, Both Misty and Gimble are not sure but do not think anyone here is interested in playing a game of chance. Elsa comes over. Elsa: (to Gimble) "Of course, I'll be right back." Elsa goes over to the bar.
@ Gerrack, Tandon, Edmond, Gniff, Branch, Linene Graywind: (to the party) "I'm willing to offer 50 gold pieces for each crate of my merchandise you recover. Sample? Did you open my crates?!" Linene has a slightly more irritated look on her face.

"Oh, well to be quite honest they were the goblins crates and goods. We opened them and found many items and could only bring some back," Gniff said with a bit of a confused look still not fully understanding this coin for goods trade system.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"A performance, eh?" replies Plaugg "You'll never have to ask twice."
Plaugg stands on his chair and tells the tale of a notable (unnamed) bard who set up to scam a merchant into buying a shipment of fake relics. The whole scheme blew up when the merchant caught the handsome bard in bed with his daughter! The bard got the last laugh however, he came back the following week in a different disguise and slept with the merchant's wife. Or maybe the merchant got the last laugh given the heft of his wife.
Gerrack, still on edge, snaps his beak shut with a loud click at Linene when she gets upset. "W-we were fighting for our l-l-lives! We n-n-nearly died, t-twice over! And these g-g-goods are not at a-a-all yours, unless you are a-a-allied with the R-Red B-brand b-b-bandits who attacked us even a-after the g-g-goblin trial! Would you r-r-rather we have n-n-not b-b-bothered to bring anything b-b-back at all?!" Feathers ruffled and unruly, he pushes the armors into Edmond's hands and paces nervously at the back of the room, beak chattering from his nervous tic.
Edmond to Linene - Please pardon us, we've had a what you might call an interesting week. We did make a list of what we found, though, here...and hands to her the list of weapons and armour that they were wanting to sell.
Tandon shoots a look at the others, in his mind recalling the idea of trying to sell the equipment in another town to avoid this exact scenario. He remains quiet for the most part. “We should look for other business”
@ Misty, Gimble Harold, Harold is able to make a great performance, the other patrons are clapping, singing along, and watching with joy during/after the performance is over. Elsa comes back to the table with the beer for Gimble. Elsa: (to Gimble) "Enjoy." Elsa turns to Harold. "Wow, that was very impressive. You are quite talented."
@ Gerrack, Tandon, Edmond, Gniff, Branch, (OOC: i was hoping the persuasion check would smooth things over, haha.) A once irritated face turns to rage, but after a few seconds she manages to regain her composure. Linene Graywind: (to the party) "Let me get this straight... I order weapons and armor from my suppliers. my suppliers get robbed by goblins or bandits. You 'rescue' said delivery, and now are trying to sell and coerce me into buying my items again?! IS THAT WHAT YOUR TELLING ME?! GET OUT!!! NOW! Before i call the city guard!"

Gerrack, completely confused, follows Branch out with his head down, dragging his feet. Someone at some point has probably shoved the mishmash of equipment and armors back into his hands; he takes them without complaint, docile as he follows along with whomever happens to lead him without really ever looking up.
"that had to be the lamest pick-up line I've ever heard." Misty says with a grin. "Why don't you take a seat again before you get yourself into some trouble..."
Branch nods “A water or some fruit juice sounds nice...” Branch trails off quickly loosing his train of thought as his eyes are once again darting all over the place

Gniff agrees with Branch, "That was quite rude. It's not like we were asking for much, just compensation for us lugging this stuff back. Oh well, do we not go to that other store or just meet up with the others?"

"Nicely done." Misty says when the performance is done, clapping her hands in approval.

Branch quickly stumbles back out the door and then scrunches his nose in annoyance ”How rude!”

"that had to be the lamest pick-up line I've ever heard." Misty says with a grin. "Why don't you take a seat again before you get yourself into some trouble..."
Tandon calmly walks out of the shop.... “I’m ready for a drink.”

Gniff agrees with Branch, "That was quite rude. It's not like we were asking for much, just compensation for us lugging this stuff back. Oh well, do we not go to that other store or just meet up with the others?"
in the middle of propositioning the barmaid, Plaugg uncharacteristically stumbles on his words and a drop of spittle hits Elsa in the face.
Standing there staring at her, Plaugg has no words. He smiles sheepishly and sits down.
