Gniff, with very little fear flags down a patrol and speaks up, "Hi! Hello! Sorry to bother you fine men but could you answer a quick question? I and my friends happened upon a group of goblins in the forests (add direction here) of here and were able to stop them from further threatening the area. Is there someone we can inform as to our success?"

As the morning light starts to shine through the window, Gimble will stir.  After finally pulling himself outta bed, Gimble makes sure he has all his belongings, and heads downstairs to the taproom.  

Upon seeing Elsa, he will ask, “Morning! Had to work a turn around shift eh? Those sure blow don’t they? When you are able I would love just a basic breakfast, please.”

Turning to see the others there with Greg, Gimble heads their way.  “Good morning all.” he says with a stretch. 

Barthen's provisions?  Excellent, thank you Toblen :)  Standard breakfast sounds great :)

Good morning, Mr Greenspear.  That was quite a night, last night, eh?  It was almost like the whole world was dancing about :)  Join us for breakfast?  We've made some new friends, yes.

GERRACK is addressing Elsa

„The s-s-standard will be f-f-fine.“. Looking nervous, he hesitantly asks, „P-p-pardon, but w-would you know w-where s-someone like m-me could learn m-more about c-c-cooking meals on the r-r-road?  I-I tried my h-hand at it and could not p-p-produce results even c-close to this i-i-inn‘s f-fare....“

As the others begin to trickle in and seat themselves Gerrack greets them. „ Are yo f-feeling b-better now?“ he asks Greg.  When the conversation lulls, he says to the others:. „S-shall we find a m-merchant after our m-meal?“

@ Gniff, City Guard: (to Gniff) "Of course. Well as far as i figure it, your best bets to report this would be with the Princess' Steward, Harbin Wester. He usually hangs out at City Hall. If you can't find him there he is usually in the palace. Another good option would be to go to the captain of the city guard, my boss, Nastyn Brawnanvil. She might be able to give you a reward on behalf of the city or at least direct you to someone who could. She might even tell you to go see the steward. If you got any pull in the city, you could try going to the palace itself. I imagine if you did you would go there instead of asking me where to go. so yeah, go to the steward, captain of the guard, or the princess herself." (OOC: the guard will give you directions to one or all three of the locations if requested.)

@ Edmond, (OOC: Barthen's Provisions is the general good store in the city that the party currently has a discount with.) Toblen finishes up cleaning the bar and glasses and then heads in the back. He surprising comes back real quick. He brings you a plate of several pieces of bread and some cheeses. Toblen: (to Edmond) "Enjoy." He then fills a glass with some milk and then gives it to Edmond. Greg goes over to Edmond. (OOC: are you at the bar or over at a table?) Greg: (to the party) "Oh yes. I'll join you all. How did slaying the goblins go? Must have been well, since you all made it back."

@ Gerrack, Elsa: (to Gerrack) "You got it. Plenty of cooks in the city. I do fancy this one bakery. I can't remember the name of the bakery itself but the baker's name is Anlow, I'm sure someone could point you in the right direction. If you just want some cooking tips why don't you ask Toblen, he cooks the meals here." As if on cue Toblen comes over with your breakfast. It is the same as Edmond, a plate with several pieces of bread and some cheeses on it. Accompanied by a glass of milk. Unfortunately for Gerrack not alot of cooking involved with this meal for him to study. Toblen: (to Misty) "What do i do around here?" Elsa: (to Toblen) "Oh, i was just telling Gerrack here that you make the meals for the Inn." Toblen: (to both of you) "Thats right, is there a problem?"

@ Misty, (OOC: since the party is all in the same room and pretty much the only people here everyone can hear all the conversations going on.) You see Elsa and Toblen going about the room doing various things and chatting with other members of the party. Toblen brings you breakfast (OOC: unless otherwise requested everyone's meal will be the standard breakfast which today is bread and cheese with a glass of milk.) the same as Edmond and Gerrack's breakfasts.

@ Branch, (OOC: since the party is all in the same room and pretty much the only people here everyone can hear all the conversations going on.)

@ Plaugg, Toblen brings you the same as everyone else (OOC: so far) for breakfast, a plate of breads and cheeses with some milk.

@ Gimble, Elsa: (to Gimble) "Shifts? This is my every day. I work all day and most of the night. Only way i can afford a house in a big rich city like this. Toblen has been looking for more workers for various jobs around the Inn. My suspicion is that there isn't alot of people looking for work cause of all the problems around the city. The one thing you can depend on is merchants and suppliers, but with the goblins and bandits running around, those two are being scarce. Its not like this is a big kingdom to begin with. Oh i'm sorry i'm just gabbing away. I'll tell Toblen to get your breakfast ready."

It is still pretty early in the day, but a few of the other people staying at the Inn are starting to come down the stairs and get their breakfasts started or ordering something to drink.

Branch waddles over to the group "Morning all. Anyone know if Gniff is up yet?"

With the group all gathered Misty would get their attention.

"Well, we need to do a few things today." She would say.  "First I think we need to wait here, so Sildar can come and talk with us.  Second we need to check in with Greg here to see how his plans are coming. Third we need to go to the shop Gimble and I worked with previously, and see about selling some of the items we found." She looks around at the group.  "Anything I missed for short-term plans?

After hearing Elsa, Gimble responds, “Wow, now I’m really impressed. You put in a lot of work. Thank you.” And he will watch her go before turning to Misty.

“No, that’s spot on Misty. Only other thing is I will have a meeting today. But I will be sent for so I can’t quite determine when that will be. And hey Greg, (Gimble shifts towards him) yeah I would say that in the end they were thoroughly routed. We were a bit banged around but nothing to serious to worry about. How are you feeling? Ya seemed a bit rough last night.”

@ Misty, Greg turns to Misty upon hearing his name. Greg: (to the party) "Well i am right here. i can talk. The troubling thing is my boss hasn't returned still. and you guys were gone for a while. so it makes me worried. So i have been debating on whether i should hire some protection and go on with the job anyways or just wait here for him to show up if he even will."

@ Branch, You look around the room and do not see Gniff.

@ Gimble, Greg: (to the party[directed at Gimble]) "Yeah, just a little nervous and unhappy with the situation. But this is good news, you took care of the goblins. I'm sure plenty of people will appreciate it. myself included."

the common room now has a few people in it, so the party is not alone now. People are starting to come in to the Inn.

To Greg: “Well, is there anyone you can contact to see if there has been any word from him? Where was he seen last?”

To the group: “Misty, should we take these good folk over to Barthen’s Provisions and Orchecks Removals?”

Branch sits down towards the back of the group and uses his produce flame cantrip to begin flicking flames across his knuckles making them roll almost as if he was rolling a coin

Plaugg watches Misty bringing the group together for a planning session and listens while eating his bread and cheese.

During a natural break in the conversation, he chips in "I'm happy to help out with whatever you need me to do, since I'm mostly here as a set of hands and to record your mighty doings, I'll follow your lead."

GERRACK is addressing Toblen

"N-n-not at all," he replies hesitantly.  "I-It's that I want to learn.  I c-c-caught several game a-a-animals on the r-r-road, but n-n-no one seemed to a-appreciate how I p-prepared them.  T-there must be some s-s-secret to making food p-palatable to the rest of my c-company when we t-travel.  I w-wish to l-learn."

To Greg, he says "Please, t-tell us more about your e-e-employer.  W-we need to g-go about the c-c-city today to c-conduct b-business, m-maybe we can a-a-ask around if anyone has s-s-seen him or her."

This is good food, yum :) Thank you Toblen and Elsa.  

Gerrack - I think you have talent, and we are all still alive after your cooking.  

Sitting at the table Edmond says to the others:

I would like to go over to my Temple to let them know what we have been up to, and also going over to Barthen's for some supplies, ball bearings, cooking implements, and sending a letter home to Umark.  That would be Orccheck's first to sell stuff, Barthen's to buy stuff, and then we all split up for personal errands and gather information, yes?

I can't put my finger on it, but that goblin lair reminded me of a caravan stop in some ways.  I bet that water rush they had would be handy for moving cargo...

I haven't seen him in a long while. I went around to other cities and towns collecting supplies. Probably close to around a month, longer now since i've been waiting here."

Gerrack (and Tandon) will go with everyone to the shops and sell goods at Orccheck‘s.  Gerrack will buy some supplies at the outfitter they stop by afterwards, then return to the inn for cooking lessons with Toblen.  While going around the city he will ask about Greg‘s missing boss.  At the end of the day he will return to Illmater‘s temple to spend the night / make a donation.The donation is basically the same price as spending the night at the inn, just to be fair.

(I will rp shopping and NPC interactions in more depth when we get there, hopefully.  For now, posting light because I am sick atm, sorry)

Gniff gave a big wave to the patrol group, "Thank you so much my friends! Have a good and safe patrol!" With that he merrily steps back to the inn, eager to meet with his friends and start the days adventures.

Branch chuckles a bit and snuffs out the flame "Oh! Im sorry miss, i was just doing a... uh what do you call those... oh! its just a parlor trick. No harm is done, just something cool i picked up from my people."

"Who is your boss anyway?" Misty asks Greg.

To the group.  "We need to wait here to talk to Sildar, prior to going to sell anything."

@ Gniff, Gniff re enters the Inn, he can see most of his party/friends assembled in the common room.

@ Branch, Elsa does a sigh of relief. Elsa: (to Branch) "Thats a relief. don't want anything bad to happen to our customers."

Gniff returns to the Inn, Gerrack and Tandon are just about to leave when Sildar enters the Inn. Sildar: (to the party) "Oh good, you are all here. I have your reward right here." Sildar holds up a bag. most likely containing gold. Sildar will place it down on the table where the party is at. "What is your adventuring group's plans for today?" Everyone does notice that now Sildar is alot more composed and he is wearing proper clothing and armor. He looks almost like a different person with how better in appearance he is. No visible wounds and a pleasant presence about him.
