Going back with a wagon might be a good idea. And it is a bit distant as an outpost for Emberhorn City, the site itself is a good one. I'm going to go to my temple when we get to town, possibly they have more information about the Red Band?
"So, why don't we sell the pelt and or bandit arms," Gniff says this last part looking at Gerrack to confirmed he used it right, "to the place recommended by Gimble and then on to this Lionshield place. Perhaps we can offer to collect the rest of their goods for a similar pay out of what we bring back."
(OOC Tinker check Day 1 7 Day 2 20 Day 3 19 as I do intend to finish this work before attempting to trade the jade frog for that health potion from Barthen)
(OOC: last time you worked on the frog statue you consumed what materials you had. You will need to buy a tinkerer's tool set to continue working on it. I'll let you keep these three numbers, so after the party gets to town you can go buy a tinkerer's tool set, and if you want to do more advance tinkering projects in the future some tinkering supplies. DM's comment the rolls are really good so when you get said items, the clockwork frog will be complete.)

Gerrack listens to the group discussion, carefully planning to go along with whatever the collective decision is so that his new friends will continue to tolerate his presence among them.

after a few minutes of waiting through the line to get into the city, the party makes it to the check point and the guards do their thing.
Sildar shows the guards his I.D. and passes through. Edmond does the same. As does Finnian. The guard stops Gerrack for a second. City Guard: (to Gerrack) "I haven't seen a merchant have to bring in his wears by hand before. I hope you did lose your wagon to bandits or goblins. Thats nice looking armor you have there." (OOC: after Gerrack shows the guard his I.D. he is let into the city)
Gimble shows his I.D. to the guard and is in the city. Gniff is next and the Guard asks him for his I.D. (OOC: @ Gniff what do you do?)
(OOC: Misty and Tandon show their I.D.s and get into the city as well.)

"Back to the inn then?" Misty asks the others. "Or should we check in with Greg to see if he has a timeline for when he is planning on leaving town again?"
Gniff watches curiously but not all together unknowing as he had scouted the gates some previously. He watched everyone show their ID's and really thought he had this down. He sauntered up, cool as a cucumber, and proudly held forth his brooch that depicted a deer with a fully bloomed tree behind it. It was his holy symbol to Silvanus and obviously was what he needed to show to gain entrance to the city.
"Back to the inn then?" Misty asks the others. "Or should we check in with Greg to see if he has a timeline for when he is planning on leaving town again?"
Gimble looks to Misty and comes along side her. Not whispering, but soft enough that the guards (if any are near by) won’t hear he says, “I really need to see a man about some gold at the Sleeping Giant Tap House first. I may even be able to glean what is going on with these cursed attacks from the Redbrand bandits. After that I am more than willing to meet up with you guys at the inn.”
After that Gimble walks off to go to the TapHouse alone but always watching the shadows, especially after the past few attacks from the bandits.

Gimble sees the typical crowds he would see in Emberhorn city, as it is late afternoon/early evening, the streets are starting to clear out a bit as people are starting to close up for the evening and heading home from their places of business. You do not see any seedy elements like crooks and red brand bandits. after a few minutes of traversing the city you make it to the Sleeping Giant Tap House.

Gerrack will join Misty and Sildar just in the walls and explain what the holdup is with Gniff, then offer to wait for Gniff to return, while the others go about their business. He makes the rendezvous point for meeting the Stonehill Inn. He also tries to convince Tandon to wait for Gniff, too, so all the „loot“ can be sold at one time in one place, together.

Otherwise, for my part feel free to advance the original mission at the Stonehill Inn or whatever else you want to do while Gerrack (& co.?) takes care of the equipment)
