Aazel tries to spring out of the way as the stone comes crashing down, but his reflexes still seem dulled by whatever was used to get him here. He is hit solidly across his right shoulder and back, driving him to his hands and knees. After a moment, Aazel is able to regain his wits and get back to his feet. “Everyone ok?” He sees one of the others in the ground out cold. Aazel does what he can to assist (lay on handsfor 1 point of healing on Bart, should shorten time of recovery) and then takes a moment to deal with his own injuries.
As the stalactite hit him, Khazan lets out a seemingly undending torrent of swear words. He kicks the piece that hit him and looks around. Seeing the unconcious halfelf and the halfling taking care of him, he stops swearing, sighs and sits. "Aye, they are a delicate lot. One little rock and they fall." Takes out his waterskin and takes a sip from it.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Wulcrath makes an admirable effort at dodging the falling stalactites before falling to the ground and landing on his stomach, having the wind knocked out of him.
He shakily hoists himself up on one leg, before turning his back to the wall and resting against it as he takes a few moments to relax.
With care, the group proceed. The jagged hallway continues on; there is another death cry in a distance, a booming that shudders the very walls causing one or two heads to look up, a distant wind howls, but comes across the group as just a chilly breeze.
There a small incline to an archway. As they also, they see body after body; woman, man, child. The odd half-elf, dwarf, half-orc and elf. Tattered clothing, bound in mouth and hand, all unconscious. A quick count reaches early forties!
Wulcrath kneels down as he gently turns the man over to get a look at his face, silent as he studies him, quietly removing the poster from his pocket for reference.
Aazel picks his way carefully through the bodies. There were a lot of people here. He knows them stranger said to escape, but Aazel didn’t really want to be responsible for everyone else. He looks carefully at the archway infornt of him as he makes his way up the incline.

I guess we should at least give them the same opportunity we had, a chance to flee on their own. “Should we wake them?” Aazel asks the others quietly.
Wulcrath can tell, using the well-drawn artistic interpretation, this is the man depicted in the wanted poster. According to the short description at the behest of the Major of the human town of Salthill, Mayor Valyss von Dis with the upmost discretion. While an exact figure isn't given, a large amount of gold is implied if all requirements are met.
Looking around, Aazelnotices this room to be storage of all sorts; unlabelled barrels, boxes, sacks of leather and hemp. There's a puddle underneath one barrel...
Khazanis quick to deal with the cuffs of everyone. The bindings are made of rags, but the cheap material has chaffed a lot of the prisoners wrists and cheeks.
Bart, can you please edit in a Medicine check:-
With no evidence of severe bruising on the head, you can only surmise the same experience you had before ending up in the place is what the poor civilians are going through; a magical, dreamless slumber.
Khazan's splatters on six of them. They stir, eventually wake rubbing their wrists and flexing their jaws. However, they see strangers looming while realising their not where they once were.
Two of the scream are stunned with fear, three of them look to half-orc and run away from him back to the wall and one screams in shock, causing three more to awaken.
He then turns to the dwarf with his raised fists, "Monsters! You're not taking us without a fight!" This rallys the other three who ran to defend themselves also...

Wulcrath, please make an Investigation check!
Investigation - 9.
A man quite close to you seems familiar, and no immediate reason why comes to mind...
"Hmm..."

Can Bart tell how they died?

The halfling holds a hand over her mouth as she gasps at the captives. “These poor people...” she whispers. "All kidnapped just like us?"

Khazan scratches his head
"They got alot of people. Anyone any of you knows?"
Walks to Daffefle, puts a hand on her shoulder and says
"I dunno how tae tell you this lass but .. they ain't dead. No need tae feel bad 'bout them."
He then goes to the nearest body and start cutting the ropes using one of his handaxes.
((Yeah, everyone those people are not dead. Just unconscious. Asleep, if you will. 🙂 - You can edit your posts accordingly))
((Updated post above))
Bart looks to see if he can tell what has them all asleep.

Khazan takes out his waterskin again and splashes water on as many people as he can, to try and wake them from their magical sleep.

"Wait!" Daffafle holds her empty hands high. "Wait! We were captured same as you! We're trying to help everyone escape!"
Bart holds up his hands out in front “whoa there, we’re in the same boat as you! Look around!”
