"GRAAGHH!!" Kasha yells as she leaps, slashing her claws at Iraza like some sort of human Sabertooth.

Barnabus grimaced, yet stood his ground. "I see ya figured out who the threat is, eh!? Well c'mon then! Hit me with your best shot... if you can!" He shouted, showing off a great deal of bravado, even though his legs had to tremble again.

If one blow had nearly knocked him out, what would happen upon receiving several? Thinking of the question sent a shiver down his spine. And yet, at the same time he spoke the words in that alien tongue of his again, and lashed out twice at the minds of his foes. The worst of wish he made sure Iraza endured after seeing the attempt to flee.

“Fire in the hole!” 

Alys will launch her first Fireball at the guardian.

The fireball is too much for the last guardian to handle and it falls down in a lifeless heap. You smell the foul stench of undead flesh roasting in armor. "Come on, there's one more thing you have to see." Arrak says as he heads into another room. "This will tell you everything you need to know about this temple."

A wary Barnabus asks after Arrak, "Not to delay your long awaited freedom any longer than necessary, friend. But, you sure the next room is gonna be safe. I could use breathe, if'n I were to be honest." He admits, reluctantly following just to remain in at least earshot of the ghost. "But, if'n there ain't no time, I understand. Just give me a second to work up a pick me up, is all I ask."

Kasha, foaming at the mouth, retracts her claws and reverts to her former self as if nothing had happened. She picks up Obsidian and puts him on her shoulder. "Good job, everyone!" she squeaks, wiping her mouth.

"The next room contains no threats. Just knowledge."

"If'n ya say so, my currently bodiless friend. Lead, uh... Lead on." Barnabus says as he gives Kasha both the side eye and steps one extra step away from her. "Right behind ya."

Alys pipes up at Arrak mentioning knowledge, "Ouu." She'd step forward, but would turn back to look at B. The cleric would wiggle her fingers, "Would you like my services before proceeding?" She'd smirk, offering Barnabus some healing should he be willing to accept her magic touch.

"Very well then." Arrak leads you all into another room with a great mural. A mural of a golden king emerging from a pool of blood, standing with the four women at his side, with an army of armored soldiers and shadows behind him. "The king of our land, Erazon, was a great warrior. Everyone loved him. But he was terrified of dying after his father passed away. Not just getting poisoned or slain on the battlefield, even getting old and infirm, like his father. So he consorted with those four women. They had him build this death trap. People all over the land were told that it was a test of skill and might and that they would get a reward if they passed; slaves were told that they'd be free, prisoners forgiven, and glory for the commoners. But it was a lie. The only purpose of this place was to get people killed for him. The people who were fit, when they died, their body parts were used to forge golems. But blood was what they really needed. They used the blood of those slaughtered in the temple as part of some dark ritual to turn Erazon into something new. Something powerful, but also totally inhuman."
