Alys was half waiting for the alcohol to kick in for Kasha, and it did. The elf couldn’t help but break into a laugh when the druid would call them old maids. Kasha’s never ending fountain of energy definitely made her feel old sometimes, but it was always a welcoming breath of fresh air. It’s not like Alys needed much convincing to go outside with Kasha, but before they slipped outside, she’d throw a quick glance Vastra and Stella’s way to check on them.
Alys would make her best attempts to help and steady Kasha as she stumbled her way up the stairs, but there was only so much she could do when ones consumed that much alcohol. The elf couldn’t hide her face of concern when the druid would stumble, pause to wipe her eyes, and stumble again. Oh Kasha... Her eyes would soften when Kasha would make her take a seat and decide to sit beside her, especially hugging her banged up knees. “I always enjoy what you have to share.” Alys was barely able to get it out before Kasha continued. She was happy to lend an ear to listen to her story.
And she did. Respecting Kasha’s space, for now, Alys would have to sit on her hands to keep herself still while Kasha shared something personal from the heart. But that wouldn’t stop the wave of emotional responses from her face. There were genuine smiles, little giggles and the tugging at her heartstrings. A familiar range of feelings she has while in Kasha’s presence, but now experienced on a more personal level. Alys really did appreciate that Kasha was sharing more of her.
But at the end, Alys couldn’t take it any more. Her heart ached seeing her hug her knees through most of that. The elf would get off her hands and stand up for a moment before sitting back down, but behind the druid. “Come ‘ere...” Alys would reach around either side of Kasha, under the druids knees to pull her into her lap, if she’d let her. If she accepted, Kasha could feel Alys’ magic embrace her knee and shins, mending her bumps and scrapes before she’d let go of her legs. “Thank you for sharing a part of your story with me Kasha.” She’d say softly, hugging Kasha to her chest. “You’re adventurous, and brave.” She said more assuredly. Much braver than I. Alys would smile to herself, knowing that was a trait she appreciated in the wildling because it inspired her. And here Kasha was, exposing vulnerability, and yet turning it into giving Alys a pep talk. “Perhaps some day I’ll find a way to communicate my feelings.”
Alys would move a hand from around Kasha’s waist to reach up to boop her in the nose when she’d hiccup. “Believe it or not, you and that mountain man of ours are a lot wiser than you give yourselves credit for.” The elf would pause to rest her cheek against her head for a moment. “And he’s right. You don’t have to feel those things any more. None of us do.”
And that’s the most important reminder of all. They were all a team. A family of Misfits. And everyone deserved to be treated and reminded as such for that’s how they could lose their way. Alys could feel resolve building in her heart. Now, more than even before, she felt she needed to make a better effort to make things right, if it wasn’t already too late.
Kasha was starting to waver. Unintentionally, she was swaying slightly. The bottle was acting fast. Too fast.
"I'm not wise."Kasha admitted, slurring badly. "At least I don't think so-URRRPPP. I'm not even good. Now, Yvan, he's a good boy. He would never ever do anything mean. Nuh uh. You know, i'm glad you admitted that about him. I can totally see you two togEURPRURther - scuse me, wow, i'm gassy tonight."
Her stomach protested. It was beginning rejection. Uh oh. No. Don't puke on, or near, Alys. Think. Think.
She wildshaped into a beautiful white *****cat, and before Alys could do anything, Catsha flopped and rolled lazily down the roof like she was melting down stairs and flopped off the edge. If Alys were to look down from the roof, Kasha would be back in half elven form laying on her back on the floor, giving a thumbs up in the completely wrong direction.
She looked green.
"Cats always laAURPPPnd on their feet!!" she yelled from the ground floor. "Also, I think i'm gonna boof." She rolled to the fetal position and moaned lazily.
Alys wouldn’t even get a chance to stop Kasha from speaking poorly of herself before she’d slip away. You impede, Alys.
The elf would stare at the empty space for a moment before she’d hear Kasha thud and groan on the ground. Alys would blink back to focus on making sure the druid was okay. “Are you okay?” She’d call up from the roof, not that it would be of any help. The elf would lay across the roof to peek down to check to see if she was okay. Perhaps it was better for her to expel the alcohol. Either way, Alys disliked seeing Kasha in agony. She feared the halfelf was punishing herself.
Looking from the room, Alyx could see Kasha was just fine, as a cat, she landed on her feet and transformed back to mischief form as she rested on the floor. While in her fetal position, she made an awful wrenching noise and a puddle of pook suddenly appeared by her mouth, slowly expanding.
She groaned, half lucid. "I'm feeling better now. Where did you go..?" she inquired ignorantly. "Watch the oopsie."
“I... I didn’t go anywhere. You did.” Alys would say softly, not really expecting her to comprehend right now. The elf would keep an eye on her from the distance Kasha put between them, making sure the druid stayed on her side, and wouldn’t choke on her own vomit. Alys’ stomach would turn with a warning. “I’m watching...”
"Oh barnacles, i'm sorry."she moaned. "I made a mess again, didn't I. Gosh, I can't believe you had to see that. I can see what I had for lunch from here. Ohhhh, that's not helping."she whimpered a little bit more at the situation and was soon snoring loudly.
Alys would wait for the druid to settle. Poor thing was apologizing perfusely. Alys could sympathize with Kasha. And when she’d finally ease herself into a snore, Alys would Misty Step from the roof, to her side. Using her own play shirt, Alys would gently wipe Kasha’s face then mouth before picking her up and meandering her way back to the hotel room so she could tuck her into her own bed.
Kasha was barely conscious when she got picked up. She mumbled and mewed and it was very clear that she was thankful for being carried back to the girl's room. She wanted to talk more, but a whole bottle of alcohol had a second opinion on the matter, so Kasha gave Alys an affectionate sleepy smile as she was laid down to sleep for the night. She didn't have the energy to give her a thank you kiss on the cheek and remind the elf everything that she liked about her.
Alys would make sure Kasha was resting on her side when she’d put her into her bed, pushing her hair out of her face. The elf would tiptoe away to grab a glass of water and pad around the room until she’d trip over what she was looking for. Finding a garbage can, she’d return to Kasha’s bed placing it at the side of the bed and the glass of water on the nightstand. Alys would go back for a cloth to dampen with some cool water before finishing one last check. She’d press the cloth against the halfelfs forehead to cool it off a bit, then finish washing the rest of her face and neck. Satisfied that that was pretty much all she could do for Kasha at this point, she’ll give Kasha a kiss on the forehead. “Goodnight.”
Alys would curl up at the foot of Kasha’s bed to sleep.
The next morning, Alys wakes up to a heavy weight on her chest. When she opens her eyes, she'll see Obsidian curled up on her chest, purring happily as he sleeps.
Everyone knew Kasha was awake by the loud weary groan she emitted as she woke. She cradled her head and smacked her lips. "Oh my."she muttered at the taste in her mouth. "UghHhghgH..."she continued to moan, not moving from her position in bed. She slowly blinked her eyes open, but didn't move much at all, every little motion made her head spin like a top.
Stella will awake to find herself wrapped up nice and tight in her blankets like a burrito, with Vastra sitting criss-crossed atop her legs, using a feather to tickle her feet, grinning mischievously as she gives Stella her wake-up call.

Kasha would find that she too couldn’t move. Alys had woken up early with Vastra (and obsidian) and wrapped her too in a tight burrito. Alys would be straddling her, holding a feather by her feet as well. “Good morning sunshine!!!”
Alys couldn’t help but laugh when Kasha was more concerned about how she smelled than being tickled. The wizard would playfully gasp loudly from atop of Kasha when she would complain about her whole body hurting, “Are you saying I’m fat!?” She’ll graze the druids feet and dust a couple toes with the feather before she’d get off of her, but wouldn’t free her from the burrito blanket just yet. “Well. It sounds to me like you’re asking for a bath this morning!” Alys will strap on her strength gloves for this. She’ll scoop up burridodruid with a firm hold and start hauling her to the bathroom.
"Of course not.."Kasha mewed, "You're not fat at all. I think that whole drink ruined my body - I ache everywhere. Stupid drink!"
She tried to giggle at the tickling but Alys said something that startled her.
"A bath again!? I already had TWO this year!! OoUOoUhHHhh!!"she complained loudly. "Fiiiiiiiine. Only if you carry me and bathe me. And scrub me. And do my hair. And dress me up. And brush my teeth. And do my make up."
Vastra continues to make the feather dance over Stella's toes, enjoying the wiggling and giggling coming from the rogue. "Well Alys is taking Kasha to go get a bath, so it looks like I'll have you all to myself. Have a few laughs, you're usually always so serious!" She said, knowing that Stella doesn't really have a choice in the matter.

Alys was already carrying Kasha wedding burrito style to the bathroom as she’d complain. Before reaching the doorway, she’d look over to see Vastra successfully tickling Stella to bits. The laughter was infectious, and Alys’ giggles over Kasha turned into wholehearted laughter enjoying the successful deployment of Vastra’s plan. “Get her for making me eat those death pepper chips!” She’d encourage Vastra, enjoying seeing them BOTH let loose and laugh. It made her heart warm to see Vastra’s playful side.
Adjusting Kasha in her arms, Alys would make it through the doorway into the bathroom with Kasha, fully having already to have expected to do all of the druids demands anyways. “Let’s make it through your bathing part first.” The elf would chuckle as she’d plop Kasha on the counter. She will turn the faucet on and adjust Kasha so she could drink cold water from tap. “I’m happy to help you with all of that.” She’ll give the parched druid some time to water herself while she moves to start the hot water in the jacuzzi bathtub. Alys would catch a whiff of herself. “I smell like those stupid necrochips from sweating so much from them...” She’ll mutter to herself as she’d glance down remembering her stained shirt from cleaning Kasha’s face with it. I need a bath too... Alys would turn back around address the hungover druid, turning off the tap for her when she was done drinking water. “I’ll even bathe with you if you want.” She will pad back over to the tub checking on the temperature and water level again before turning back to Kasha. “If I free you from this cocoon, do you promise to cooperate?” Alys will strip her hands of her ogre gloves.
Stella keeps giggling wildly as Vastra keeps tickling her feet. "No, sto-aaaah, cut it-eeheehee, you got m-yaaa," She finally surrenders and stops trying to get any kind of words out, just wriggling around in the blanket and giggling.
