"It's Bert the WoRrRrrRrRRrrrmmmmmmm'MAH!" Kasha sings, arms erect and spread - announcing it's emergence and presence.

She shadow boxes in place as everyone rolls for initiative, excited for the ensuing battle.

"Ah... so that's what he meant by giant worms." A wide-eyed Bixby stated as he stared up at death itself.

Initiative: 11.

Alys would hop off the airship prattling on about the ships engine with just about as much nerdy enthusiasm as the engineer who showed them. Hopefully Vastra didn’t regret bringing the younger elf up to look at it after all her babbling to fill the dead air. The scholars mouth would finally stop when she’d finally realize where they were. In a dessert. That’s a lot of sand...

The wizard would listen intently on the instructions provided by Faras one Bixby piped up to ask the important questions. With those tips in mind, Alys would review her supplies and equipment, making sure she had everything she needed in order to ensure she could provide necessities should the worst case scenario occur. Upon witnessing Yvan strip his cloak, Vastra strip hers, and Bixby adjust his clothes, she’d take a moment to review herself. She’d frown slightly. Being as heavily armoured as she was, the cleric would have to decide to remove her armour, or suffer with it. After some heavy contemplation, Alys would decide to keep her armour donned and would use alternative measures to keep herself, and others should they need, cool. Though, she would remove some additional cloth layers that she kept on for modesty sake, finding the balance between staying cool and saving her sensitive skin from the sun.

As the others readied their camels in varying ways, Alys could be caught giggling noticing Bixby’s struggle with his camel. For a man that usually carries himself with such poise and finesse, it was amusing to see him fussing with an equally strong minded camel. The amusement didn’t end with B though, cause sure enough, their mountain of a man Yvan would sweep his camel off its feet like a bride to be. She’d have to cover her mouth to stifle the laugh that wanted to escape her lips. The wizard would glance to her camel, “Sorry Camilla, you’d have to take me to dinner first.” Snorting to herself in amusement for her own quip, Alys would prepare herself to mount her camel.

And with a surprisingly amount of ease, Alys would pull herself up onto the camel and was prepared to set out.

The ride through the dessert is a hot one for Alys. She would go through bouts of being too hot. Sometimes it felt like her skin was on fire from wearing all the metal and that she could dry heave at any moment. Any time she felt a headache approaching from the heat she would draw some water from a designated pouch and would use her shape water magic to manipulate the water to wash along her skin. She’d cool and freeze it as needed to adjust her temperature. Should the cleric notice any one else suffering in the same manner, she would offer them the same service at the expense of herself.

Upon the second day, Alys would be nodding off from a bout of heat when a spiked purple worm would burst from the ground.

How graceful is the dismount: 15 (For flavour)

Although a little startled, Alys dismounts her camel without any issues. She’d sway a little bit, but would otherwise be fine. Her eyes would fixate on the worm as she’d take steps closer to the rest of the group.

Bixby rapidly shakes his head. "Research later, kill it now." He mutters as he whipped out a wand and barked out a command, unleashing a positive deluge of magic missiles into its form. Though even he knew better than to think it enough. So, he then began to say something else, barraging its mental facilities (or whatever accounted for such) in some twisting, complex nonsense language to cause even the titan to be doubt itself.

Action: Cast from Wand of Magic Missiles(6 charges), inflicting 29 Force damage.

Bonus Action: Unsettling Words, reducing the next saving throw it makes by 2.

Stella jumps right into battle with her blades.

Attack: 22 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.

"Lead your friends away from here..." Yvan tells the camel as he gets out Ithlyss. "We'll take care of it..." He turns to look at the towering worm, rolling his shoulders. "... Hopefully."

BA - Rage - Wild Surge -  3 

 Yvan will try to make himself the primary target for the worm (because what's the worst that could happen lul) and attack it head on!

The Purple Worm uses it's legendary action to try and bite Stella!

Frustrated that his attacks missed, he tries again when he sees the worm attack Stella!

Alys will curse under her breath, grabbing the snoozing Hoodini from her shoulder and tossing him out into the battlefield. “Be our eyes in the sky.” He’ll shadow Yvan to provide help throughout the fight.

Snoozenitiative: 6 

The elf will then look to Kasha and cock a brow. After some silence, Alys would then snap her arms into mini struggling Trex arms and flail them little bit as she’d chomp at the air.

Ready action: Polymorph on Kasha should she desire to Trexify. 

Obsidian jumps on Kasha's shoulders to help out.

"Time to add some glitter to this party. Bert's a big boy." Kasha says to Obsidian, wiggling her fingers. "Watch this shit."

Kasha casts Faerie Fire at Bert. DC16 DEX save, please. If Bert fails, he's covered in translucent, green maple leaves that glow all around him.

Then she puts on Obsidian's goggles. "You're gonna need this in a moment, sweetie pie. It's about to get cretaceous in here. You ready?"

Obsidian looked up and gave her an annoyed obtuse look through his goggles as if to say he was born ready for this ****in' shit.

She nodded once, and gave Alys the signal. She was ready.

Obsidian blinked. That was one quick worm.

Alys' readied action goes off and Kasha becomes Kashasaurus. Aryn flies onto the head of the Kashasaurus! Vastra casts Enlarge on the Kashasaurus granting her an extra d4 of damage on a successful attack!

The Purple Worm bites Yvan!

It then tries to sting Bixby!

Yvan barely makes it out of the way of becoming worm food, reeling back a bit from the damage he did take. He does see Hoodini over head, looking to help him in some way, giving the familiar a nod before heaving his sword down on the worm!
