Stella: "You're in terrible danger here. This skull does more than just hold you hostage, it attempts to drain your mental essence. Surely you have felt it. I have been fighting this effect for I don't know how long now."

Stella nods. "Yeah...I can feel it. Not much I can do about it right now though, it seems? Other than wait for my friends to sort out what happened." She looks around again.

"I hope that they can. Your friends, they're warriors right?"

Kashasaurus sidesteps the attack surprisingly gracefully.

ME KASHA, QUEEN. 

You will be my next meal. I will bite into you and rend your skin, to tear you apart with my teeth.

And, if not, you will, at least, suffer great pain.

Kashasaurus roared.

Stella nods. "Yeah. And pretty damn good at it, too." She smiles faintly.

"My daughter Alys, has she become a powerful wizard?"

"Pretty damn powerful, yeah." Stella nods. "And she's a great healer too. Saved everyone on the team's lives more than once."

Between the breath and the bite, Yvan was looking worse for wear, but he's been through much worse. He continues to fight on for the sake of the misfits, and uses Hoodini's distraction to his advantage!

Kashasaurus roared in pain at the bite, and continued her Jurassic assault.

Garathyr uses a legendary action to do something that is not immediately obvious to you.

Stella: You feel the pull on your being intensify. Make a DC15 Intelligence Save.

While keeping some distance, Bixby continued to circle around the dragon, hoping to get a better angle on the skull. Once he had, natural healing is accelerated as Bixby focused past the growing disturbance and on Vastra and Alys, breaking their limits for a much needed restoration. Though the effort left him bleeding from the nose, Bixby pressed on loosing another explosive bolt of fire from his shield that splintered to strike at both Skull and Dragon.

Bonus Action: Cast at (3rd level)Healing Word, augmented by Twinned Metamagic(3sp) to affect Alys and Vastra and Psychic Sorcerery... 5... eliminating all components.

Action: Cast (Cantrip)Explosive Bolt, augmented by Twinned Metamagic(1sp) to target on Garathyr and Crystal Skull.
Attack: 3+28 Damage: 31 of Fire on Garathyr.

The flames cause the skull to glow red for a few seconds, but nothing else than that.

You're a fool Alys.

Alys would bite back tears of pain and frustration. She kept promising she'd do better... And in her daze, Garathyr would land a swipe down the right side of her neck and clavicle. Taking a deep breath, she'd steady herself as she'd accept B's healing. The elf would take out her healing staff and do what she should have done earlier. Raising it up, she'd bring it back down to the ground to send a wave of healing magic.

When Yvan feels Alys’ magic envelop him, mending his wounds, he uses what energy he could pull from it to bring his sword down upon the dragon!

Garathyr uses his breath weapon again.

Vastra casts Magic Missile at 7th level and empowers it again with her magic.

Stella lets out a gasp of pain as she feels her mind being attacked. "I...see what you mean...about draining..." she says, panting lightly.

Bix Wis Save(DC 18): 20.

Bixby is able to whether the psionic blast better the second go around thanks in part to Alys, though did not anticipate it happening a third time. Fingers would twitch upward and flesh of his face would twist and morph at the edges as a growl came out by conscious thought.

Time was running out...

And with that thought in mind, he mentally tugged at the weave to convert power into potential before summoning a warbling mass of madness made manifest in hand just to sling it at the dragon! At the point of impact it explodes into a cacophony of noise released in one great big thunderous boom.

Bonus Action: Convert (4th level) Spellslot into 4 Sorcery Points.

Action: Cast (4th level)Chaos Bolt at dragon. Augmenting with Empowered Metamagic(1sp) to re-roll the 2s and 1s of 1st segment.
