Having made in the end a token effort to avoid the flames, Courage laughs as the flames wash over him. "You'll need a lot more kick than that if you wish to cook these buns!" He called out while patting down a few lingering flames. Then he sees Alys' condition and winces. "But I see that wasn't the goal! H-hold on, Alys. Souperb! Keep up the good work!" As Souperb immediately got into position to continue making a nuisance of himself for Stella's sake, Courage quickly zips down to ground level, and from a nozzle revealed in a panel sliding away on his shield, sprays a very short range fast foaming substances over her burns that quickly fade away revealing freshly mended skin.  

Action: Cast (4th level)Healing Foam on Alys, restoring 19 HP.

Bonus Action: Command Souperb to Help Stella.

Despite the considerable amount of damage he had been taking throughout the battle, Yvan continued to press on with his attacks, using the pain that had been numbed by his rage to power his strikes. At a certain point, he could feel himself wavering, becoming more sloppy, taking hits that he could have very easily dodged had he simply been paying more attention.

Then he feels a familiar hand at his back and he hesitates, but just for a moment. Alys didn't need to use her words to instruct him to take a breath. He takes one with her, feeling the warmth and welcome of her healing magics spread over his body to aid in sealing his gashes and cooling his burns. 

With new found vitality, he looks back to give Alys a thankful smile, however before he could do so, the beast breathes fire at them!

"Okay, enough of that, Lad! Time to meet your maker!" Courage whips around pointing at the draconic creature. In seconds, the very same hand and arm's metallic components split and rearrange themselves into a cannon firing a bolt of lightning at the dragon. "Souperb! Give it all you got!" He called out after, bidding the the living soup to blow an explosive bubble at one of the head's way.

The tail swipe had gotten him good, right in the gut, but it certainly wasn't enough to bring the goliath down! With a heavy exhale and clenched jaw, Yvan swings his sword down upon Gorynych, hopefully for the last time!

Yvan is able to kill the Gorynych! Moments after the sounds of combat fade, Colonel Drakthor enters the cavern. "You actually managed to kill it." The Colonel pulls out a sending stone and speaks into it. Moments later, more Narakkan soldiers are teleported into the cavern by multiple casters wearing robes that resemble the Narakkan military uniforms. They begin to take account of the Gorynych's treasure. "You held up your end of the bargain, Riiselians, we shall uphold ours." 

One of the casters tosses down a Teleportation Circle. The Colonel leads you all through and takes you to the waiting area. You wait an hour for him to return with an incredibly ornate box. "The Ring of Maran. Use it well and return it to us once your mission is finished." "Thank you, we most certainly will. Are we ready to return, everyone?" 

Level up to 17.

"Good on ya, Lad! That's the way to do it!" Courage proclaimed, starting off cheery before descending into a brief but pained coughing pain. Souperb gravitates down to his level out of worry; but, it is soon brushed aside with halfhazard wave of the hand. "And *cough* fine ya *cough cough*... ugh... I'm fine ya, bubbler. May be a tiefling, but... that was a lot fire and a lotta bruising." He admits as the helmet peels back into the suit just in time to reveal a grin.

The mild amusement quickly fades seeing the state of some of the others. But just as he's preparing to render some aid, the arrival the Colonel, and not long after, the Narakkan forces diverts his attention. "Not Riise--ah, fudge it. Lead the way." He said, abandoning the correction in favor of leaving sooner rather than later. With the last piece not long after in their hands, Courage, who'd by then still looked tired even with the hour of rest, grinned and gave Vastra a thumbs up. "Best we hop to it. Still plenty left to do I imagine."

Stella bounces to her feet once the box comes out, looking quite cheerful and generally mostly unharmed (good gods I love rogues and the lack of limited use things). She nods and makes sure the ring gets into a bag of holding before she nods at Vastra, ready to go.

With Gorynych slain by his final strikes, Yvan takes in a deep breath to quell his rage before looking over the group to ensure everyone was doing okay. Courage's enthusiasm garners a slight smile to tug at the corner of his lip. The fight surely came with its challenges, but it wasn't anything the Misfits couldn't handle. Forest green hues follow the colonel when he enters, biting his tongue at the tone in which he spoke. He knew they didn't exactly believe in them, but the least they could have sounded was impressed!

A chuff escapes him as Narakkan soldiers flood in to take account of the treasures, shaking his head as he moves to stand beside Alys. Wordlessly, he takes her hand in his, his gaze softening upon the wizard. (Lay on Hands for 10hp!) "How are you feeling?"

Soon, they would be whisked off to a waiting area, and what waiting they did! Though, the hour of rest was much appreciated. Once the ring is procured and safely put away, Yvan gives the group a confident nod in moving forward.

"Very well then." Vastra uses the Helm of Teleportation to teleport back to Greywatch Tower.

When you successfully return to the Tower, Father Tarkus is waiting to see that you've successfully returned with the Ring of Maran. "Excellent! We now have all three of the relics we need to perform the ritual to restore Turokkin's seal. We have not been able to find where the dragon's phylactery is being held, but we have what we need to seal him away once more. Now, the next step towards completing this process will be to get you to the Moon, so that you can perform the ritual and seal him away. Previously, we did not have the technology to travel beyond the confines of Idria and truthfully, we still do not, but throughout our contact with other nations, we have found that a society of rather dedicated worshippers of Sehanine Moonbow in Symbelyne have magical devices that they use to teleport to the moon and back, so that they may worship her on the moon for certain festivals. Furthermore, we have prepared enchanted amulets that should allow you to survive on the otherwise deadly environment of the moon, at least for enough time that you can perform the ritual. I do not suspect that you will be unopposed in doing this, however. I doubt that the news of Turokkin's possible return has remained far from the ears of his acolytes. I would prepare yourselves to battle his servants before going to the moon, as a defeat would mean the failure of the mission and the death of us all."

 Courage huffs softly and crosses his arms. "Not gonna lie. Kinda half hoped you lot might've had some luck with the phylactery to put this menace down once and for all. BUT! T'is what it is, eh?" The tiefling smiled despite the graveness of the situation. Though his demeanor soon shifted towards the more serious and solemn. "But you suspect right, or so I too figure." He glances briefly to the group. "We've come this far. And unless you found some other helping hands for this final stretch, a little vacation in a deadly environment seems hardly worth opposing with this world in such danger now does it? Heh! Anyhow! I'll get to work on my Grandpappy's End of the World Din-din. Might take a wee bit though. So,  I'll leave the rest of you to any outstanding business." He waggles his brow at the rest of the party. 

But afterwards, he intended to head off to find whatever shops nearby might have just the right provisions for a dinner of life time.
