The Exploits of Misfit Company

When the spells effects are dispelled, the goliath looks down at himself then shakes his head. Whatever that spell was, Yvan definitely wasn't a fan of it and he hopes that he doesn't come across it again. Prior to pushing forward, he ensures Stella and Alys are okay, then pushes along Kasha as he was before.

B...? Alys would blink a few times. I... She'd look around as if expecting him to have been right next to her speaking, but instead he was further away with Vastra and Kasha. It would take her a hot second to clear the cobwebs and realize that she was under an illusion prior and be had freed her. "Right. Yes..." The elf would blink rapidly a few times before lurching herself forward to catch up, sheepishly pulling up close to the group hoping not to cause any additional delays. Though, immediately follow that though, she'd chew her lip, beginning to wonder if she should have detect magic up... but she didn't have it prepared. Be alert Alys...

The wizard would pause abruptly. She'd close her eyes and inhale a deep breath. Alys would gently place two fingers against her forehead. In her singsong celestial, she'd whisper a a few words before following it up with a firm final. "Ethine micaloz c fvue, invisiblr." As she did a light would flicker then grow beneath her fingers, forming the shape of a decorated third eye. She'd move her hand back to her side. The elf would blink. Her eyes were white in the first flicker, then would clear back to her blue hues, but the shining eye tattoo on her forehead remained.

Alys was ready to continue.

With the magical effect dispelled, you all are able to make your way through the city and arrive at the castle gates. As you arrive and attempt to open the gate, three spirits coalesce in front of you. They're in the form of armored mindflayers with longswords in their hands. They enter into battle stances, ready to defend their post even in death.

At the end of your turn, all spirits explode and each creature within 5 feet of one or more of them must succeed on a DC15 Dexterity saving throw or take 9 force damage.

With the flumps out, he rushes towards SpecGuardian1 and attacks!

"Now that was one poor greeting. No wonder why you are but mere guards." Bixby cracks the faintest of smiles. "And not even good ones either. Couldn't huck it in life, so you thought things might be better in death. Especially you. That blade of yours is just for show, or you just the lowest of the low and got bumped to support. Terrible." He goes on to belittle, lacing some of the most subtle and faintest of magic to his words to undo the will of the guardian.

What little will it possessed now, in any case...

After which, it and one other of its fellow would feel thousands of different thoughts and desire suddenly surge to the surface. All in so much conflict barring the one thought that consumes them with the urge to laugh insanely.

Bonus Action: Unsettling Words on Spectral Guardian(2), reducing its next saving throw by 2.

Action: Cast Id Overwhelming, augmenting with Twinned Metamagic(1sp) and with Psychic Sorcerery(5) eliminating all components and targeting Spectral Guardian(2) and (1). Both need to make a Wisdom Save(DC 15) or become incapacitated.

Alys would reach a soft hand out to Yvan. She’d whisper the same wish beneath her breath as she did last time, casting Haste on him.

Kasha bounced on her toes in place and shook her arms and hands, like a runner prepping for a race. 

"Ok. WOooo. Ok. Here we go. Here we go!" she said, pumping herself up.

She pretended to splash water in her face from a water bottle, and even acted out getting wet, shaking her head saying "Splash!"

Obsidian crouched, ready to spring.

With one final puff, she squatted down deep and jumped up into the air, her arms and legs spread wide, as high as she could. Obsidian leaped.

In her place was everyone's (except Bixby) favorite thunder lizard, with Obsidian landing on the top of her neck.
