The way the elk looked at Kashger wasn't right at all, and it startled her..like it was implying that she didn't have what it took, that she was weak. It made Tigsha bristle and she attacked, leaping at the elk with a growl! Nope. That didn't happen. She attacked the bear instead.

Brooker calmly sizes up the situation. Then casually began turning a dials and channeling energy through device on hand, attempting to cast something. Though when he speaks, what comes out are not words, but what feels like colors given taste and memories spoken on the wind of a xylophon. And then anyone who tried to make sense of what just happened after Brooker opens his mouth likely forgot anything had been 'said'. Though Yvan feels strangely confident afterwards.
And then suddenly a tingling sensation spreads as everything appears to grow smaller by Yvan's perspective.

Alys would pull out her shield and mutter under her breath to her friends close by, “Keep from clustering under the chandelier. Maybe even lure the Druid under it.” Feeling safe behind the newly enlarged Yvan, she will walk further into the room confidently and bend down to put her hand into the elks blood. She’d look to the Druid and bear, eyes clouding white. Alys would smear the blood across her shield. “May the odds be ever in our favour.”
Yvan becomes even bigger that he already is! Both of Rinn's attacks hit! Only one of Furlong's attacks is able to break through, as this bear seems to have a tougher hide than the usual bear.
