Arrak thinks about it and after a few moments, sighs deeply. "I suppose that I don't have much of a choice but to follow you, do I? Lead on."

"Happy to have you aboard, my friend. Now, aside from someone maybe seeing to Ms. Stella injuries, which... I s'pose I could? Or we take a quick breather here, then double back to those last guardian's room. Frankly speaking, I'm more partial to the sit down, but I'll follow ya'll lead." He admits frankly, if somewhat absent-mindedly. Because for some reason or another, he kept rubbing at his head as if trying to shake something in mind.

During the rest, Stella remains by the doorway, pointedly ignoring the ghost and focusing on attuning to her dagger after she bandages her wound.

“I’m partial to the rest, even just for the hour,” Yvan says. “And... there’s something I would like to try... With the magic users.” He wasn’t entirely sure how this ability worked, but his faerie friends told him it would be useful to the casters around him. They assured Yvan that it would hurt them, which was what mattered most to the half giant.

“Barnabus, you’ve been using a lot of magic. I can give you some magic back, if you want to try it?” 

Once given the okay, Yvan shuffles over and pats Barney on the head, focusing what magic he could to transfer to the other.

The magic transfer was successful, but soon after completing it, the giant groans in pain and falls to a knee. “Ow—“ Had anyone tried to assist, he would raise a hand to them. “I’m okay... Just... Need to rest.”

Barnabus had gone along without complaint or qualm. But seeing Yvan in pain after, he grimaces at the very least. For while he had not feel the magic reserves return, a different sort of bolstering left him staring at his hands for a while there. "Maybe, uh... maybe we reserve that little trick of yours for emergencies. Huh big guy? Not that I don't 'preciate wha'cha did fer me."

The half-orc smiled on that note, and for the remainder of the brief rest, found a spot nearby to strum on his cittern; thoughts all but devoid of nothing except the tune. Those that heard it however would feel some of the tension leave their body, as subtle magic worked its away through their system.

As you finish your rest, three shadow creatures converge on your location. Everyone who failed your wisdom saves this morning (literally everyone except Vastra and Stella) have an internal feeling that these are the creatures that have been tracking you. 

"Did you sleep in here?" Arrak asks, sounding exasperated 

"Yes." 

"You shouldn't have done that. If you survive, I'll tell you about the shadowweavers."

Vastra tosses out a bolt of lightning at the shadow creatures, putting in a little something extra to make it hurt a bit more. "I was so excited to finally break this out after all this time, I didn't think of a cool thing to say. How anticlimactic, I'll have to do better next time."
