Unable to leap away in time, Baranabus watches as the shadowed form descended upon him with a look shock... but not fear or dread. Instead, for the briefest of moments a crazed smile played on his lips as his skin started to ripple. But then it abruptly stops, and he is soon crying out in pain, clutching at necrotized flesh. "Yesh! That stung! But not as much as this 'ill stink ya!" He declared as swept his hand forth throughout the area. As it passes over the space of the creature, each would -- should feel a mind crushing compulsion gnaw at their will, demanding all to flee, though one more so, if whatever served as a mind proved to weak.

The final stalker falls under the combined assault of Furlong and Stella who completely forgot that how that new dagger I gave her works. "That went well." Arrak says. "Now if you're ready, I'll show you what's on the third floor."

"Obsidian?!" Kasha calls out.

Obsidian pops around the corner, looking a little disheveled. Stella rolls her eyes at the cat. "Right, sure, you were inside a giant asteroid and met an...Acheronian? What even-no, I am not converting to the worship of Bane! No, not even you think you are secretly an Acheronian cat shrunk down to normal cat size! You're a fey spirit, Obsidian, not a peeckup truck sized feline...whatever a peeckup truck is. Come on, we've got work to do. Well you wouldn't have gotten thrown out of the skiff if you'd just stayed in your fey realm instead of gallivanting off to other worlds while waiting for me to resummon you, would you?" Flicking his tail with irritation, Obsidian jumps up onto Stella's shoulder and pointedly bats at a piece of her hair while Stella sighs. "All right, let's go."

Barnabus chuckles as he slumped against a wall. The chuckle comes to an abrubt halt at the shout. But, in seeing the cat alright, he shoots Kasha a deadpan look, prior to letting out a snort and leaning back against wall. "Told'ja, my friend. Best chance we got is together. And soon enough, yer gonna be free and everything." Arrak is thrown a thumbsup. "Eh? Moving already? Aight. Anyone that got hurt in that last fight might wanna tell Miss Alys. Speaking of."

Barnabus wipes blood from the corner of his mouth, stands up again, takes a deep breathe, and then began to chant, "Wow. Unreal. My Gosh. This is AMAZING. I feel INCREDIBLE! YES! YES! YES! YES! I CAN WIN! I FEEL GREAT! I. CAN. DO. THIS! RAAAGGH!!" He shouted, pepping both spirit and body. Enough to when he brushes off the deaden skin and flesh after, he winced, but it flaked off revealing fresh layer beneath. "... Aight, I'm good."

"Miss Alys. I needs a heals." Alys would raise her hand in response to Barnabus, she'd smile and wink before casting a glowy spell on herself. "Thank You B." She'd say sincerely, ready to provide any one else with a healy boost.

"What's on the 3rd level?"

Stella: Obsidian replies that if you met the people who live in the Feywild, you'd go gallivanting off to other worlds too.

"The third floor is where they make those armored things. They take the bodies of the people who died here, sift through the parts, and put them together to make those monsters. There's two hideous witches down there, they have some kind of dark magic that they use to make those things." 

"Well we should be ready for a true fight, then. Perhaps a short rest? Just to make sure we can top off as many resources as possible."

"Hate to say it, Pops. But if all we do is sit here again, 'nd we're bound to run into more of those shadow critters again. A war of attrition that we ain't likely to win. Not without us leaving, and them setting who knows what sorta of ambushes fer when we come back. And that's assume'n things here can't properly bound up mind wise by whatever witch craft here can't leave fer escapees." Baranabus states.

"So, unless there's any more strong objections, we best be mosing on. I'm willing to take point on following our ghost friend here to where we aughta go, if that helps." He adds while eyeing and gauging everyone each in turn.
