The El Hermandad engage the Bloods in a loud, violent manner, eager to eliminate the mortal gang bangers and get revenge. It's vampires versus mortals in a melee and firefight brawl. The coterie is trying to run down the street, get to the church, and find a way around back to get in.
To hustle to the back of the church means dodging and weaving through friend and foe alike as vampires and mortals clash with fist, and bullet. Even though it's around midnight, the Church is extremely well lit, and there is literally no dark places to hide or stealth at the moment. It's a good ole fashion sprint to the rear of the church.
Depending on what you'd like to do, form a dice pool and roll against DV4. Since this is a storytelling game, you can make it as specific or abstract as you like. You can run towards the back, or you can fight your way through the Bloods. For example, Alana could run, Misha could brawl her way through, Sorrin could use swordplay, or Victor might shoot a path to the back. You guys decide your own action of how you get there for this challenge. No matter what you roll, you make it to the back. However, margins of failure equal unhalfed superficial damage you took during the skirmish. You may use Willpower to reroll.
Alana tag teams with Misha to brawl their way through the enemies, tag teaming. They both have to restrain themselves from causing TOO much damage, but manage to bust their way through.

Misha and Alana gave each other a look, a smirk, and a singular nod. Then they ran into the fray on their way making it to the back. The El Hermandad and Blood ********ers were furiously fighting, and Misha and Alana both barroom brawled their way through as Victor cut a path through with his fancy pistol. The Beast was anxious and hungry tonight, Misha could feel it welling up again as fist, knee, elbow, and foot smashed and pummeled into Blood members. She felt herself getting more and more violent with Alana at her side, who was definitely holding her own, much to Misha's delight. A rush of pride caused her undead heart to beat faster, pumping in her veins, and the Beast took advantage of the heat of the moment and try to emerge. Misha suppressed it by taking a moment to concentrate - the result would have been very messy, and she didn't need to reveal any further evidence she was a vampire.
Victor, Misha, and Alana had made it to the rear of the church.
Alessandra took out the rapier Sorrin had gifted her carefully from her Hermione bag, getting into a defencive stance first before attacking her way through the gang. A rapier wasn't really the same as the swords Alessandra was used to fighting with, but if anything, it would get the job done just as a regular old sword would. It took a little more effort, but she made her way through with no issues.

Sorrin was more than a little tired from first the hangover of drinks the night prior, followed by a car chase, car crash and fleeing from the cops. That said, he still pushed himself to attempt to join his friends in raiding the church, though his attempts weren't his usual best.
As you enter the church, you find yourself in the back exit of the main rows of pews. The Bloods inside make a stand to protect Reverend Cutler by either taking cover in the pews and shooting, or rushing at you with stakes and melee weapons. Multiple gang members engage you all.
DV2/4
For this particular challenge, each of you have a group of Bloods you need to deal with that are blocking you from advancing further in the Church. The DV is 2 for this challenge for each of you. Form your dice pools as you wish based on what you want to do. Any margins of success above the DV result in that group wiped out, and you take half superficial damage on any margins twice the DV, so 4. So, for example, Misha kicks and punches a group of Bloods. She rolls 3 margins of success, which is higher than DV2, so she wins the conflict, but damage is determined at twice the DV of 2, which is 4, and Misha got 3 success margins, so thus takes 1 superficial damage from the skirmish.
Note: You cannot spend willpower for this conflict type, or blood surge. If you wish to use a discipline, and it's a contest, roll against DV3.
Now that she was getting the hang of using the rapier, Alessandra dispatches her group of bloods without a scratch on her beautiful pale skin.

Pain was always a good motivator, however, it was also a very powerful agitator. The few blows he had begun taking, combined with his over tiredness, Sorrin loosened his reins on the Beast, and boy did it meet. Within a few seconds, he went from sticking side by side with the others, to whipping out his blade and making a literal blood bath. At once point he was pretty sure he left a man with all his limbs cut off, and another with his head split in two.....it was hard to keep track.
(messy critical success of 8 +3 from longsword -> 11 damage)
Misha darted between the pews as a hail of gunfire ripped over her head. The Beast was getting difficult to control - the excitement of combat filling her with raw action and fury. Normally, Misha would not get so brutally violent, but the blood of Bane was no longer fueling her power. It was something else, now. A Blood member got too close, and Misha sprung from the pew she was taking cover against and swung, growling loudly. A few other gang members attempted to tackle her during the exchange of blows, but Misha, for the moment, was no longer in control. The Beast took over, and limbs were ripped and chest cavities were blown apart in a mighty shower of blood in the melee from her brutal physical assault. Drenched in blood that was not hers, she panted and ripped a broken pew from the floor and used it like a massive meat tenderizer to make sure they were dead. All that was left over were bodies that looked like they were thrown into a human meat grinder. Tossing the pew aside, it took her a moment to calm down and take over her senses. She shook her head, trying to shrug something off, but left strangely satiated. (Gain 1 willpower for playing through a messy critical.)
Victor's been in plenty of battles and has seen more than his fair share of carnage, but none of it had prepared him for the sight of Misha, raging under the control of the Beast. It was like something from a horror movie and the only thing that allowed him to remain composed was the knowledge that Misha was on the same side as him. When she regained control of herself, Victor pulled a cloth from his pocket and wiped as much blood as he could off Misha's face, so that at the very least, she wouldn't have blood in her eyes. "That's about as much as I can do without hosing you down or something like that."

Uncharacteristically of him, he went as far as stabbing the body of his last kill over and over(....and over) further staining his body and clothes with blood. It blinded her to rage and caused her actions to become much more violent than usual. And it happened many times this night. Truly, she was not in control of herself when it emerged. The El Hermandad were hollering and yelling outside, and it was hard to tell from the inside of the Church if they were winning the gang war or not.
