When the group splits up for the time being, Olivia wastes no time in trying to locate where her apartment was. It took a while, truthfully, the names of streets changed, new buildings and structures were built. The city looked much, much different from before, but thankfully, the outside of her complex didn't really change much. She ensured that her home would be protected for the time she was put to rest, cashing in a few favors, doing a few favors, but it ended up working out in the end when she entered her apartment and it was left just the way it was all that time ago.
The doctor stretched as she walked through her apartment to her bedroom to change for tonights little event.

Walking along the street at night, Gabi was nearly wishing for someone to give her some sort of hard time so she could vent her frustrations on someone. Anyone. Everything in this era looked..different. Lights. Smooth features. Amazing technology. The cars that drove by amazed her. Fashion had certainly changed in the last 70 years. Gabriella managed to find a black dress with black heels. Not the most comfortable way to walk, she noticed, and the dress was extremely tight and form flattering. At least the jacket she got was classy. She fumed at the notion that she nearly looked like a prostitute and headed back to the hotel to wait for everyone else to get ready.
Nilrem had left the hotel as most of the party had and looked into returning to the place he recalled he left behind. Entering the older parts of Town, he approached an old, Victorian looking church. It seemed well kept, and the sign read, "The Sanctum of Nilrem". Figuring this must have been the place, he pushed open the gate and walked up to the doors. Knocking twice, he waited patiently, letting his gaze wander around to stare at whatever spec or splinter caught his fancy.
Eventually, a robed man opens the door and asks, "Yes?" Nilrem then turns to look at them, and smiles, lifting his own hood, "ealaa ghasaq harbringer , allayl tawyl. lkn fi daw' alfajr aljadid , yura alghad." The man opens his eyes, then opens his mouth for a moment, before closing it again. He opens the door wide to let Nilrem in, bowing his head as he does so, politely speaking, "yusharifuna 'an nastalqi fi nurik" Smiling and placing a gentle hand on the man's shoulder, Nilrem enters the church, his church.
Once inside, he sees it is mostly empty, but doesn't really care, as he can sense and smell the life within. His followers hadn't all died out it seemed...good. He spoke to the man behind him as he walked towards the back, "How fares the sanctum in my abssense. Are the ties of the spirit world still strong here?" The man hurriedly followed behind, keeping his head bowed, though taking excited glances at Nilrem's back when ever he could, "Y-yes oh Great one. It is one of the many reasons the followers have yet to lose faith that you would return! All your prophecies have guided us so that we would be here for you. The spirits are..." Before he can finish, the lights in the church dimm, and sure enough, Nilrem sees the Ghosts of the Church cry out at his return, some in terror, some in joy....most just because they can. Nilrem's mind itched with the urge to simply start laughing and speaking with them, however, he knew he had to have control in front of his followers....well, even if it was just the one. Casting a single glance to the apperance of them, Nilrem stoicly opened the back door and spoke over to his follower, "Tell the followers to be alert. A storm is coming and I must look to see if it will breach our arc." The man tensed up, but then, as if jubilated by the command, bowed low, before turning around and running out the Church doors.
Now alone....well, mostly. Nilrem headed down into his Haven's basement, his Sanctuary within his Sanctum. There, his eye perceived through the veil of the dark room, the many books and scrolls that adorned the walls. The old magics and rituals he had studied here, and most importantly, his circle of meditation. While it offered no real assistance in looking into the future, it was visually more appealing to his followers, and he had come to like using it. Sitting himself down within its center, he began to focus his Beastial blood, and looked into the future. Opening his mind to the spirits and the stream of time itself.
Ryder left along with the group, setting forth to meet up with some old acquaintances. The streets were alive, chilly, and wonderful, no matter how different they were. Some things never changed, and Marius's estate was one of them. Well... Kinda? Of course it had to change to match the changing times, but the interior was the same old styled furniture Ryder had experienced for years. He wasnt going to lie that he was a little disappointed that Marius was not on the premises, but his, along with Ryder's old formal wear, were. It took a while to dig them out of where Marius had stashed them, but they fit almost exactly the way he had left them those years ago. Sure, they may be a little old fashion, but they were moderately new and would suffice.
As he allowed himself a tour of the estate to bring back any memories of his past that just seemed to be at the edge of his memory, his fingers traced the old leathers and velvets until they brushed a few smaller letters on a table. The hand writing was neat, elegant, and formal as his eyes skimmed the rose insignia on the corner of the envelope. Ryder felt something tug in his mind. A face. A man. A girl. But he couldn't put a name to the faces in his mind. He just knew Marius had a part in it. A connection with them. A part he didnt wish to explore any longer. And with a deep sigh, he plucked one of the envelopes off of the table, studying it for a moment before shoving it into the pocket of his tail coat, adjusting his clothes, snagging his old bag, and making his way back out into the night, leaving nothing but the absence of his few things. Just enough to allow Marius to know he was there, alive, and had no intentions of returning 'home'.
Ryder returned to the hotel soon after, silent but dressed in something formal at the least. He claimed one of the side tables for his own, digging into his case to check on a few things, including a notebook, camera, case, and an extra simpler formal outfit. Inspecting the camera, he hums in thought, making a note to get an updated version in the future before returning everything back into his case. After a moment, he speaks calmly to Gabi. "You look... Nice. You clean up well. Does this look too... old? Should I change into something more recent?" He gestures to the simple tail coat, white undershirt, and black pants as he pushes up his glasses.
"I can barely breathe in this thing." she gasped, teetering in her heels, trying to get used to them. She grabbed the hem of her skirt and tried to pull it down another half inch, not used to a dress so high up her thighs. However, the compliment was not lost on her, and she cracked a smile at Ryder in what he would know was a gentle thanks. "No." she said, referring to his outfit. "It looks good. Leave it. You look classy. Like a man of importance." she admitted. Then, she adjusted a small discrete holster that kept her dagger close to her person. The dress clearly showed off her legs, arms, and shoulders. The rest was covered. She finished typing her hair in a ponytail, glad it was no longer matted and tangled.
A few hours later, Connor shows up in a black tux with the clothes that he used to wear in a bag that he carried over his shoulder. "Sorry I took so long. It took forever to find something in my size."
Ryder offers Gabi a smile. "Fashion these days. I much prefer a few centuries ago. Classy and sassy. While not showing too much skin or looking too low of class. Not to mention the various social constraints society has. If you'd like, I could try to find you something more an older era that might suit your tastes better? In the future." He pushes up his glasses and steps next to her to look into the mirror, brushing his fingers through his hair to style it happily as he check his fangs slightly, making sure they're proper and clean before retracting them.

Ryder would notice there was only one reflection in the mirror. "Maybe." she considered. The calmness of his voice and his demeanor didn't make Gabriella feel challenged, threatened, or hostile. It was strange. "I don't understand much of this decade yet. Why is evening clothing so tight." she said, frustrated. "I also..I can't see myself in the mirror. Do I have anything in my teeth?" she bared her fangs for him to see. She finally attempted to put on some makeup that highlighted her eyes, something she was good at doing without a mirror.
Olivia's wardrobe was completely out of style, but she didn't really care. The clothing she observed while wandering the streets were tasteless and left little to the imagination, not at all classy as it was back then. After brushing her hair, applying a red lip, some mascara, and a pair of black rimmed cateye glasses, she grabs a coat, her purse with all the necessities inside, then smoothed out the skirt of her dress and left her apartment feeling as confident as ever. Had it not been for the neon lights and technology that surrounded her now, she would say it almost brought her back to a much simplier time.
She joins with the others at the hotel, observing Gabriella trying to look at her reflection and Ryder styling his hair. "You look like a prostitute," Olivia comments to Gabriella with a smirk. "Suits you though. Ryder, Connor, both of are looking fine as well. Anyone know where Nilrem is?"

Ryder has a simple light chuckle. "You're fangs are as pale as the moonlight my dear. So, no. They're clean. And I believe for the sex appeal? Although most British women do have a little more class than Americans. They're clothing is practically nonexistent. I am indifferent either way. You make that look good. OOC: Connor showed up at the hotel, but I guess everyone missed that.
Connor gives Gabriella a small nod as she sees what she's wearing, which is probably a compliment on her appearance. He looks at what Olivia is wearing and smiles, as she looks a lot like the girls from back home. "You look nice too, Olivia. I apologize if I was a little hard to find, it took me a while to find a store with a suit my size."
"Stupid Americans." Gabi muttered, giving Ryder's collar one last adjustment. She smiled softly, letting him know he was now, finally ready. At Olivia's comment, she couldn't argue, so she didn't. Seeing Connor eye her, she put on her jacket to hide the fact she was wearing nothing but a small layer of black silk and not much else. She returned to her moody demeanor and waited by the door for everyone, ready to go.
At the edge of understanding, the border of the known, Nilrem's mind bounces back into the present, as if crashing back into his body. His eyes open up and he begins twitching, laughing manically at himself as he feels the pain of blood and time rebound into him. As he lays there, he hears the ghosts of his Sanctum speak to him, 'You hear our words, but you forget. Push through the surface to the wet, they wait in the stains. Build up until nothing remains, we wait for the sound of the name.'
Their words, eerily overlapping each other, sounding like a hivemind that buzzed and echoed in his skull, made him grit his teeth and push their voices out, using the pain as an anchor to stabilize himself once more. "I....Am. Here! I am in control! I AM IN CONTROL!!! NOT YOU!" He hurls a random book at one of the ghosts, letting it crash against the wall of his sanctum, before he closes his eyes and breathes. Once he's calmed down enough, he smiles and straightens himself out before leaving his Sanctuary and heading back to the Hotel.
Ryder gives Gabi a charming smile and a nod, mouthing "Thank you" as the others arrive. He glances between Connor and Olivia. "You both look fitting. Decent coloring. Styling matches. Definitely personality fitting Olivia. I'd expect nothing less. But please try to be on proper behavior while at the party? No need to make the wrong impression after all. That goes for everyone. And Connor, very nice suit. I could have assisted you if you'd wanted. The offer stands for the future if it's needed. Although out of the two of us, I'm sure I'll stand out a bit more. Not particularly in a good way. Now. Aren't we missing someone? " Ryder grabs his case and raises an eyebrow as he pushes up his glasses on his nose. As Nilrem enters the hotel, Ryder gives him a once glance over and nods. "Nevermind. The gang is all here. " Ryder can't help but move to straighten Nilrem's collar as a final touch before nodding. "Shall we be off then?"
"Why are you telling me to behave?" Olivia questions Ryder with an arched brow. "I'm simply stating the obvious here. If anything you should be telling that one," She points to Gabriella. "Not to be giving off the wrong impression, seeing as her outfit literally shows her ass." She rolls her eyes then shakes her head before turning to Nilrem. "Great! Let's get this over with."
