Impeded by the arrow protruding from its leg, the cat is unable to escape Teya's pursuit. A blow from her maul, accurate and forceful, puts the beast out of its misery.
Roughly 14 minutes later, Mateja stands with a crag cat pelt in hand.
Urijeon is able to reclaim two of the four arrows he fired during the battle.
With the threat over, Avelin strides quickly to the others who are taking trophies from the fallen beast. "Take care to be clean with your cuts, do not mangle. It would be a grave disrespect to this beast and the spirits otherwise. When you have finished, and if we have the time, a burial for the animal is most appropriate so not to offend any ancestor that may have been inhabiting this beast."
Uri looks up from inspecting Mateja's cuts. "We should take what we need from them both, complete your ceremony shaman and leave them for the other beasts of the forest. Surely there is something that could enjoy and easy meal tonight. Such is life."

As Urijeon, Teya, and Avelin look upon the second cat, deciding what ought to be done next, their attention is suddenly diverted by a noise upon the hillside to the east. Someone, or something, is talking. The voice is deep, but you cannot discern what is being said.
Farkas and Mateja also hear the voice, but from where they stand they are able to catch a brief glimpse of whoever spoke. The creature--a medium-sized, humanoid--is darting away from the group while trying to use the trees on the hillside as cover.

"Quick, look upon the hillside! Someone is running! Do we give chase? There may be others,"
Avelin points to the hillside, and in optimism yells out in Common, "You on the hillside, we mean no harm or trespass, present yourself to us as a sign of good faith." Persuasion15
Legs pumping, Farkas eats up the ground, immediately outpacing his fellows, the words from Avelin, acknowledged as wise whilst simultaneously being ignored. As he follows the rise he comes closer to his quarry trying to see more detail before they have a chance to get further away again. "You won't escape me" he mutters as he runs.
Perception 8
Sorry ignore this, I thought we'd moved on to the next round.
Choosing to advance the story (futuristic and Mat have been silent for a bit). To keep chronology straight, here's how things have played out:
Round 1 actions:
Avelin - Movment to O18
Farkas - Movement to N18
Uri - Movement to R18
Mateja - none
Teya - none
Round 2 actions:
Avelin -
Farkas - Movement to K22
Uri -
Mateja -
Teya -
Farkas continues to labor up the hill, hoping to gain a better view of who, or what, he is chasing. The stranger then breaks from the trees and begins to cover the open ground (dashing through I25 and I26). In doing so, the fleeing creature gives Farkas the information he has been seeking: the creature is an orc. Loudly and clearly, it begins to yell in Orcish, "Uthgardts! Uthgardts! Ready for battle!"
(Round 2 actions for Avelin, Uri, Mateja, and Teya are next)
Mateja is still gathering up her things and the pelt as Farkas suddenly bolts, and as such she has fallen behind the others as she starts to give chase. As she hears the Orcs cry out, she shouts out to her companions in turn. "Ware, there are more of them, preparing for a fight! Eyes up, eyes up!"
Urijeon's shot sails between the trees, following the arc of the hill, and catches the fleeing orc in the back of the leg. Wounded but not slowed, the orc growls loudly before spewing out an Orcish curse. Meanwhile, the five members of the Blue Bear tribe continue their pursuit.
Round 2 actions are complete; I elected to take action on futuristic's behalf, having Teya dash and join the chase. All players may act in round 3, in any order.
Something feels wrong to Avelin, a lone orc? Yelling into the woods? Mateja did suddenly suggest there were more of these foul beastmen.
Crossing into the open plain could be a trap, but he needs to get closer to get a better view to see if he can tell exactly who, or what, there may be hidden in the trees slightly north.

Neither of you can come to any conclusion about what sort of humanoid it is. Its intentions to avoid your detection are evident, however.

The chase is on! Farkas sprints up the hillside and begins to close the gap on the fleeing stranger.

Updated map (NOTE: Scale has changed):
"Farkas don't be foolhardy!" Avelin yells, Dashing after Farkas
Boldly go
Uri runs 30' to the north (R18 I guess), trying to keep as clear a shot as possible. His bow is drawn and the arrow is held ready as he runs.
