“Heh heh, very well, four pies and four happy warm bodies. The rest can buy a pie or get out! The recipe is a secret. Heh heh heh.” No one is given any sense of reassurance by her laughing. She moves to the oven, opening the front revealing a large tray of a dozen lovely looking pies. She uses a wooden board to scoop 4 out and place them on the oven top. “Let them cool for ten minutes so you dont burn your tongue.” From the smell you’d figure chicken and herbs are a big part of the recipe. The pastry looks browned and flakey.

Mordekai says loudly, "Fine, fine! I'll take a pie too."
As he says it, he'll position himself the other side of the woman as Kane, so that to take his coin she needs her back to Kane. And as she turns away again, Mordekai will discreetly cast Minor Illusion to create the illusion of Kane, leaning with his back against the wall, nose in a pie, his facial expressions delighted by the smell.
Rat flaps in. The woman points at the flying undead cat creature. "What? How delightful is this? Just wonderful!" Rat smells the pies. No poison that Rat can detect.

Olin peers around the room. The barrel of putrid something in the center of the room. The apparently human bones littering the floor... so small. The woman's bloodstained apron. Did Meepo just pick up a handful of teeth? "Dear lady," he says somberly. "To whom did these bones belong before they ended up here on your kitchen floor?"

Kane, creeps up the stairs, leaving his illusory double behind as Mordekai distracts the woman with payment. She happily snaps the coin out of Mordekai's hand as she deals with the pies. On the next floor, Kane see the dirt-caked windows allow very little light to enter this eight-foot-high chamber, most of which is taken up by a large millstone connected to a wooden gear shaft that rises through the ceiling in the center of the room. A staircase continues up. On the mill surface you see a number of small bones. Underneath the grindstone they seem to be crushed to tiny bits. Above you hear the movement of foot steps moving around the the room on the floor above.

She seems to be telling the truth. But...not the whole truth.
Olin stares back at the woman. "Gifts of bones? These are all very small. Are they children's bones?" Olin pokes at the bones with his toe. "Some 'gifts' should be refused, even if they are freely given. Yet your home is littered with them." Still staring at the woman, but speaking to the group. "Keep your coins, friends. We should not stay here this night."
Kane moves quietly up the stairs. When his head gets above the level of the floor he can see into the 3rd floor. Dancing, with exaggerate tiptoe'ing, around a thick wooden gear shaft in the center of this cramped, circular room are two ugly young women wearing silk shawls and gowns of stitched flesh. Long needles stick out of their tangled mops of black hair. The women seem to be grinning and stifling laughs. In a rotting wooden closet are three crates, stacked one atop another, with small doors set into them. Next to the closet is a heap of discarded clothing. A ladder climbs to a wooden trapdoor in the nine-foot-high ceiling. A moldy bed with a tattered canopy stands nearby.
The two young women stop, and turn to face Kane, noticing him almost immediately. One smiles, and whisper quietly to him, "Oh, hi there deary, want to come on up and join us? Quick, before that witch below hears you." She reaches out her hands and makes grabbing motions at him.

Mordekai will pretend to get angry with his party and start shouting at them, "Ok! Ok! Enough of this ridiculous indecision! This kind lady has supplied us with pies, we've already paid! LET'S JUST TAKE OUR PIES AND LEAVE!" The last part is shouted as loudly as possible in the hopes that Kane hears from wherever he is upstairs. Mordekai takes a deep breath, visibly calming, and turns back to the old woman with a slightly sheepish yet warm smile. "Dear woman, we apologise for the interruption. Thank you kindly for the pies. We'll leave you to your peace."
Kane staggers back in horror, casting Mirror Image when the two women attempt to grab him.
"What is this?" He whispers.
(DM: I read the description of Mirror Image but I can't ascertain whether the duplicates speak when Kane speaks. If speaking would betray which is the real Kane, he will refrain from opening his mouth.)

"No touch things?" Meepo asks with a confused look. "Meepo protect things..." he informs her,but moves away from the latest drawer he had opened.
“Asmodeus curse it, I lost my coin pouch.” He declares angrily. “Mordekai, could I borrow a gold?”
He turns to Mordekai, his back to the old woman, and breaths in his ear under the pretense of borrowing a gold coin.
”I do not trust this woman. If you create a diversion, I can slip upstairs. Someone may be suffering.”
He takes the gold coin and hands it to the old woman. “One of your finest pies, if you please.”
