Initiative 6 + 3

Initiative: 5 

As Reya predicted, ambush did not exactly worked - the corridors were lightened too well and cultists were ready to anything. Almost anything - the groups reaction was so fast, that cultists at the head of the searching party barely had time to scream "they are here" before Adray attacked.

Adray - Reya - Polly - Choir   then cultist (Cu1,  if he survives) then Fran and Brutus.

The only way this plan works if they got the jump on them and it meant something.  Poised, tense like a spring, he waited for that opportune moment and sprung.  Lunging forward he quick drew his shortsword for a strike and followed up with a kick to another.

Action Shortsword vs Cu1: Attack: 21 Damage: 10

Bonus Unarmed vs Cu2: Attack: 22 Damage: 6

Polly runs out to to the corridor and look for TV. If she find her she fires the crossbow at her. (If she can even go so far) 

if here team is blocking the way she will hold her action until the path opens up :) 

Attack: 8 Damage: 6

Polly can move with half the speed through friendly creatures space, but she will end up between CM1 and Ordrag - does she want it?

Reya jumped after Adray, moving straight to the cultist in a strange mask:

Attack: 17 Damage: 12

Attack: 12 Damage: 8

Attack: 20 Damage: 8

Both cultists were completely taken by surprise by Adray and could not avoid the attacks. They did not die, but were obviously seriously hurt.

Reya's target proved to be mush sturdier and faster - the man avoided two out of three attacks and the one time Reya did hit him, she felt as if she barely left a scratch. 

Polly has to decide what to do (Reya is standing by CM1) and then Choir.

yes she does, if that is what it takes to get a shot at the boss :D

Choir will just fire at Cultist 1 or (if they are down) CM 1

Cultist one is no more! Fran/Brutus turn.

(Polly should confirm her move - whether or not she is willing to walk into melee range to get a shot at Thalamra)

Little Polly nimbly navigated her way into the dangerous zone, bravely ignoring sword blades swishing above her head, and shot at the massive figure, hiding behind the attacking cultists. Despite her rush, she managed to take a good aim, and the bolt found it's target. But woman did not drop to the floor, instead, dark purple flash pierced Polly's eyes and she was suddenly caught on fire: DC 14 Dexterity saving throw: fail - 17 fire damage, or half on save.

"Kill her!!!" screamed Thalamra and the man in a strange mask near her turned his head towards Polly.

Dex save 23

Polly give off a shrill scream as the magic hit her and she instinctively conjure a firebolt and cast it back at Talamara.

(Next round)

 “Ahh brisingr oro!” After casting the firebolt she will head down behind Ordrag.

Fran taps her wrist against the wall, charging what could be her signature move since day one. She’d launch her acid bubbles towards the cultist eyeing Polly, and to bounce to his closest neighbour. The artificer will let out a whistle, directing Brutus to follow up her attack with his famous bite and to stay within range to protect Polly and the others.

Attack: Acid Splash DC Dex 13 or take 3

Bonus action: Steel defender Force-Empowered Rend Melee Weapon Attack: 18 Damage: 9 force damage.

So, Brutus is going to stand between Polly and Cu2, right? Then Ordrag can not go into melee.

(No. I wont have him take his spot. Then behind Polly? and I understand that his bonus wont be in effect, but that's cool :) )

OOC: Ok, got it. He will get his chance. His bite stands, right? Meaning OoP from 2 cultists

Cultists DC: 12 6

The attack of a dog made of steeel is not something one can be prepared at the best circumstances. Cu3 did not expect anything like it - and fall to to the mighty bite without so much as a gasp, while Fran's seemingly week acidic splash finish off badly wounded Cu2 and assaulted CM1.

Brutus quickly retreated behind Polly, but not before CM1 tried to smash the construct:

vs Brutus: Attack: 16 Damage: 6

And now cultists collected themselves and were ready to attack. Following the order from THalamra, CM1 ignored Reya, muttered something and unleashed his fury on Polly: Attack: 21 Damage: 15

Cu4 run over the dead bodies of his fallen comrades and added his blade to the slaughter:

Attack: 9 Damage: 7

While CM2 tried to paralyze the offender (Wis save DC11 )

At this point Ordrag got his chance to intervene. (Then Thalamra)

Picking himself and his weapons up off the floor, Ordrag looks up and swings at the first enemy he can see (Cu4).

Warhammer: Attack: 9 Damage: 5
Scimitar: Attack: 12 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.

Cu4 had to regret deeply about his move, or would have - Ordrag did not leave him that chance. Now there were four dead bodies on the floor. (Cu4 is dead)

At that moment Thalamra joined the fight, attacking Polly. Fortunately, deem light, piles of bodies on the floor and Polly's small size made her miss with both attacks.

Attack: 23 Damage: 5
