Thavius Kreeg could pose for the painting "Insulted Virtue" - his eyes were full of sadness in a view of such outrageous mistrust. And of course he did not move - Brutus was scary enough of it's own, Polly only added more threat.
Ordrag's maneuver allowed Reya to finally reached the man she was set to kill. Heavy beaten by his nemesis - Adray, who refused to die, the Amrik was an easy target:
Reya: Attack: 9 Damage: 4
Attack: 24 Damage: 10
Attack: 8 Damage: 7
As fast and confident as Amrik was, he was outnumbered and overpowered - he simply could not avoid all of the attacks, no could he believe it was really over. When the blade run through him, he gripped the hilt, looked around in surprise - and fall down without a word.
Reya yanked her bloodied sword from the body and wiped her brows. "It is done," said she with a grim satisfaction in her voice. Then she turned around and walked to Thavius Kreeg.
The dungeon belonged to the group.

As soon as Adray finishes up with Amrik, Fran will pull out her healing kit and begin patching him up for good measure. Once done, she'll give the monk her usual pat on the shoulder. Packing away her kit, the artificer will stride down the hallway to stand with Brutus. She'll cross her arms then lean over to peer into the room around Thavius Kreeg. Fran will hold her position behind the snarling iron defender until the others move in to investigate.
Choir will walk cautiously up to Thavius Kreeg. "Elturel," she says. "High Observer Thavius Kreeg. Prisoner?"

Choir
6 Choir can not force herself to believe a word the man is saying.
"You ... heard? Then you must be not from Elturel. I understand", said the man with a voice full of compassion and sorrow.
"Please, forgive them, High Observer," Reya positioned herself between Polly's crossbow and Thavius. "They were told lies about you. But a few words from you will return their confidence."
"Of course, child," nodded Thavius Kreeg. "I understand your confusion. But truly, whatever you were told, ask yourself - would any of this devil worshippers tell you the truth? Or would they rather confuse your mind with the most elaborate lie?"
Feathers ruffling up in wariness, Choir takes a firm grip on her mace. "Elaborate lie, Thavius Kreeg," she repeats. "I see no reason why I should let you live." she adds in Amrik's voice.

Fran's eyebrow would raise in alert from Choirs ruffling. She trusted their Kenku through and through, believing her when she called out his lie. The artificer would remain on guard, drawing a pair of daggers. Her goal was to support Brutus with intimidation, standing their ground. This man has Reya deceived.
Polly look up at Reya. “Reya, I hope that his words are true and if they are, we are going to do everything we can to get him out of here alive. But we also need to investigate if he is as innocent as you say.” Pause. ”It should not be a hard thing to show us some of his divine magic and that would also be the best way for him to prove his innocence because thous who has made a pact with devils can’t practice the holy art.”
"Thanks Fran," Adray says and stands with a slight grimace. He bends down and grabs Amrik by the collar and then another cultists and begins dragging them down the short hall towards the vault.
"Nibs, grab the other two. Not sure if it matters at this point but we'll bring them by the vault. Fran, not sure if ya can save him but let's slap some manacles on him and bring him to stable," Adray says. When back at the doors by the others he pushes himself up by the others.
"High Observer, you have some explanations to provide." He turns back to Fran and says, "Fran, if you got an extra pair, put them on him too. Best be safe until we figure this all out."
When Adray was ready to take command, Fran would nod, stepping away from her post to let him in. Though, she still would not release Brutus from his position in front of the High Observer.
"You go it, chief." The artificer will nod to Adray as she draws a pair of manacles from her bag to secure them on Amrik. She'd sit the bloak up against the wall to begin patching him up, ensuring he's stable. When she was done, Fran would give the man a couple of pats on the side of his face before standing back up. She'll pull out the second pair of manacles and maneuver her way through the doorway. Fran would be wary as she enters the room to ensure that when she positions herself behind Thavius, that she isn't exposing her back to a trap in the room. The redhead will give the Observer the opportunity to obey and prove himself to Polly. Should he fail to do so, she will follow Adray's instructions and attempt to put him in manacles.
Thavius Kreeg did not protest and stoically accepted handcuffs treatment. Reya made a move to stop Fran, but the man shook his head, stopping her.
"High Observer!" Reya looked at Thavius with pleading eyes, "I beg you, show some Torm's powers! Thous peoples came all the way to help you, but they are confused by the horros they had to witness. Show them your holy light!"
Thavius Kreed stapped back and aswered with even more sorrow in his voice: "I can not, child." He looked straight at everyone in front of him: "For I had to sustain myself on the power of the god and fully drained now. I see a holy symbol on you, dear friend," he addressed Choir personally, "sure you know how it happens? The gifts of the gods are plentiful but not endless. Tomorrow I can give you the evidence you are asking for. Now I can only give you my sad story."
To Choir
While the man talked, Choir suddenly noticed an interesting thing: his shadow on the wall doesn’t match his form, but appears to be the shadow of a pudgy, horned fiend with small wings.
Thavius looked down as if collecting his thoughts and begun: "I was visiting a parish a few miles outside the city when Elturel disappeared. The horror of this day... I could never forget it, never... With a few refugees we made it to Baldur's Gate, but only to be confronted by the duke’s guards. While others flew away, I was captured, and the duke demanded my help to ascertain the magical properties of the celestial shield, which her family “acquired” from a crypt under the city. Otherwise she threatened to give me away to the city guards, saying their order is to hang me on the gates without so much as a trial. All I did since that time is trying to survive, and believe me, in that place of devil worshippers it was not an easy feat!"
Reya looked now unsure and lost - the story did sound reasonable (if questionable for the leader and the hero of Elturel) and she was not exactly a priest to judge the use of powers but mistrust of others - however insulting - could not be completely unwarranted.
Suddenly, Choir squawks in horror, leaping back from Thavius and ignoring his sob story.
"NOT Thavius Kreeg!" Choir shouts, pointing frantically at the high Observer's shadow. "Devil! Devil! I get the whole illusion thing," she adds in Adray's voice, for good measure adding a quote from Fran, "Pretty misleadin’ with these disguises eh? Though, if yeh look closely..."
