Ordrag nods in reply, drawing his two weapons. Taking Adray's lead, the half-orc calls out: Hey, devil-dudes, why don't you pick on someone your own ugly?

How does a red dragon blow out the candles on its birthday cake?
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"I am Lulu," hollyphant either corrected Adray or was declaring it to devils, "and I will not allow anyone to attack innocent!" She flew right across the street to the woman with children and angrily (it did not even look comical) turned to the devils.
Adray was right, of course, the three offenders were Bearded Devils. At first they did not even bother stop - cheering at the sight of more preys. Then they realised, the prey is actually armed, and slowed down. Sneak attack was unlikely for the girls, but Adray and Ordrag did attract devils attention and they ignored puny, obviously scared figures crawling behind the rubble.
Initiative: M1 11, M2 7, M3 21 Lulu: 13

Fran would strafe to stand at Lulu's left side. She'll draw two sets of daggers from her leathers, fanning them between her fingers. "Aye. Let's protect the innocent together." Without the need for hands, she'll whistle to ready Brutus.
Initiative: 4
The artificer stumbles a little on the rubble at her feet.
(Nope. Adray, aint last. lol Positioning North East square from Lulu, closing the gap between the building and our Hollyphant assuming no baddies get there before her.)

Choir's initiative: 14
Three devils is a LOT of devils, Choir decides. She casts Shatter at Level 3 for 18 thunder damage, DC16 Con save to take half damage.
(If the devils move before her turn, Choir tries to cast it where it can hit the most of them without damaging her friends. If they don;t move, she should be able to hit all of them.)

Polly follow Adrey tactic and sneak up with Choir. When chor cast Shatter Polly take out her wand of secrets and cast Erupting earth at the same spot, careful not to hit her comrades or the mother and child.
Erupting earth: 26 Dex save 15 and the 20foot cube becomes difficult terrain.
ooc: if the monster split up before it is Pollys turn she will instead cast tashas hideous laughter on the mob closest to the civilians. Wis save 15
“hey worm face! How do you make holy water? You boil the hell out of it!”
Three devils are a touch excessive, but not for someone already used to fight that sort of creatures.
Ordrag proved it quite well, attacking one of them head on, and bruising the so thoroughly, the creature halted and visibly lost half of it's courage. The other devils, though, were fast to react to an obvious threat:
M1 vs Ordrag: Attack: 23 Damage: 7
Attack: 22 Damage: 8
M3 vs Ordrag: Attack: 25 Damage: 14
Attack: 19 Damage: 6
The attacks itself were not that terrible, but the devils reveal their true weapon - poison and infernal affliction.
Ordrag, DC 12 Constitution saving throw or be poisoned for 1 minute, plus DC 12 Constitution saving throw or lose 9 hit points at the start of each turns (progressively) due to an infernal wound.

Lulu bravely covered the running woman with the kids with some kind of protective aura, beautifully shimmering in the gloomy atmosphere of Avernus.
Choir managed to cover all three devils with her spell: saves M117, M2 9, M3 15 and even hurt somewhat, making them look around at attacker.
But the search stopped once a fountain of churned earth and stone erupted behind - whatever was the source, the creatures were questioning their presence in that spot: saves - M119, M2 15, M3 12
M2, practically dead, squeaked with unexpectedly high voice and tried to run away but did not get far on that loosen earth, left by the spell.
Adray rushes forward and with incredible speed leading into the air to kick at the devil on Ordrag's left and following up with a flurry of strikes.
Move: up to devil on the left.
Action: two strikes
Bonus action flurry for two strikes. If first of flurry hits DC 14 dex save or be prone, if it saves trip attempt again. If it does not save and falls prone 2nd of flurry gets advantage to hit and he will instead loose his reaction.
1st Attack: 27 Damage: 15
2nd Attack: 27 Damage: 10
1st flurry Attack: 17 Damage: [roll](if([roll:-1:critical], =0, 1d6, 2{1d6}.expand()))+4[/roll. Dc 14 dex or trip
2nd flurry Attack: 25 Damage: 7] separate roll for advantage if he is prone 21
Wasn't sure if closing that bracket would cause the dice change message. And only used 1 ki point. At level 5 monks get two attacks and the flurry for 1 point for 2 more attacks. Open handed monks can force a trip, shove or have them loose a reaction when they hit with a flurry attack. No point required for that.
I did roll separately at the end, that was the 6. So flurry 1 attack was 23 to hit 6 damage and flurry 2 was 27 crit for 12. Assuming both hit thats 18 damage before any resistances if he has them.
Ordrag nods in reply, drawing his two weapons. Taking Adray's lead, the half-orc calls out: Hey, devil-dudes, why don't you pick on someone your own ugly?
