Choir opens her beak and repeats Fran's statement. "A few blocks of here there is a public bathhouse. The fancy one - you know, with a walled garden, frolicking nymphs carvings on the front gates, nice services and so on. I was there a week ago. What? A girl needs to relax sometimes. So, I was about to leave when I saw a couple of those black robes - they did not care even to cover their holy - or is it unholy for them? - symbols. I followed just out of curiosity - it's not the place for religious fanatics, you know. They went to that never used old servants room. At least it was servants room. I peeked - just a little. It was a room, all right, but with stairs leading deep down. Like drop a stone - wait for answer deep. It's a dungeon there. How does a red dragon blow out the candles on its birthday cake?
Fran would lean back against a wall while Choir filled the Captain in on what Tarina had said. She'd pet her nose in thought to what the Captain had to say about Thalamra Vanthampur and the loss of Uldar Ravengard. The captains skepticism confirmed her own, it can't just be a coincidence. Fran would nod to the captain as she takes her leave to do just that, go visit the quartermaster to request refills for her healing kit, a shield, lodestones (so she can use mending) and some butter.
(I hope I have enough gold? I'm assuming Choir has all the gold from the fight, or do we assume that's split? I'm not sure what standard practice is. I have one group the rogue pockets everything for himself and another one where we split evenly every time cause we're a sharing is caring party lol)
Fran will look to Choir, her cheeks redden a little bit, not sure if this would be rude to ask, "Choir... would you happen to have a small feather or two I can have?"
“Captain, one other thing of important happened in the tavern as well. You might be familiar with the singing spirit that haunts it?” She looks for any reaction form him. “Well I spoke with Alan, the barkeep and he told me about it and that it always. ALWAYS. Sing the same song. That is until tonight. Choir, would you be a saint and play back the song for the captain?”
Once Choir has sung it for him, Polly will translate it. “Who are the horseman you spoke of before?”
Captain shook his head "That's beyond me, lass. Indeed the spirit haunting the Tavern never changed the tune, why would would it change now - ask some clerics, I would not know. And - horseman? She wonders if the Quartermaster has sticks of incense, or if she could make a quick trip to the market or a temple. The air goddess likes a little incense with her prayers. Choir decides she'd better go along and look for herself, since she would rather pick the scents herself.

How does a red dragon blow out the candles on its birthday cake?
Polly's history teacher would be proud of her today: she managed to remember not only the obvious - their status of "Protector's of Elturel", paladins who have sworn oaths to defend Elturel, but a piece of their history as well. She recalled that the Hellriders were so-named long ago when they descended into the Nine Hells on horseback to fight devils in an epic charge known as the Ride. Most of them never returned. It was 90years before The Companion appeared above Elturel, meaning, almost 140 years from now. This days Hellriders are not those who rode to Hell, but the name stuck.
("Refugees" - are those, who happen to be outside the city walls the moment of Elturel's disappearance - citizens leaving or returning to the city, Hellrider's patrols (since they do (did) patrol lands in Elturel's jurisdiction, those who lived close to the city and would love to stay away from the dead crater in the ground. All of this is known.)
(I'd say, spear or quarterstaff, chalk and a dagger are simple enough to be handed for free. The quality is standard, of course)
On the way to resupply, it gets back to her. “I knew it!” Polly exclaim and when the others look surprised at her she relay the information. “I’m having a bad feeling about this guys. A really, REALLY bad feeling!”
Then she walks over to Choir and Fran, hearing her ask Choir for a feather or two, reminder her of the ring she found, it might just work. “Choir, can I have a look at the ring you found? It might be perfect for one of my spell i know. I didn’t think of it before since I could not afford to cast it anyway, but that ring might just be what I need to do it.”
Choir hands the ring over to the wizard. Pearls are pretty, but not sparkly enough to make her reluctant to give it up. If it had been a ruby ring, now...
"There is another temple to Akadi in Baldur's Gate," Choir says in the priestess's voice, and adds, "Do we have enough holy water?" in an acolyte's voice, and"Prayers to the goddess of air should be accompanied by burning incense, at least if you want her to pay any attention at all,"in the voice of one of the priests.
Choir goes to look for a temple or somewhere to procure these items. She doubts she would find them in the quartermaster's stores.

After obtaining the requested items. Adray will take them to the courtyard and try a few manuevers spinning the spear about and thrusting. Feeling that he has got the weight down, he ends his practice. He then makes his way to his cot and tries to get some rest before their long night.
Polly goes To the mages quarter to resupply on spell supplies. Then she goes down to the barracs for some sleep and light reading. She needs to brush up on the identify spell.
(Assuming nothing happens while Choir and Fran go to pick up supplies...)
On her way back to the barracks to get some shut eye, she will pick out two stones of similar shapes and size. After getting some sleep, Fran would sit up in her bed and sprawl out with her crossbow, tools and new stones. She'd tinker with her crossbow for a good hour and could probably be heard muttering to herself, maybe weaving in a couple dwarven curses along the way. Fran would pick up her crossbow to aim it, then tweak something here and there. Finally satisfied with that project, she'd pick up the stones and dip into her arcane knowledge. Fran would begin etching runes into the stones while she whispers some incantations to infuse them into sending stones. She'd take about 5 minutes per stone.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
When she wakes up, Polly goes to the canteen. She is famished from the fight earlier and from some missed meals. If someone from her team is already there she will sit with them, otherwise she will sit down alone and eat her food.
Once she finish, and if she is still alone, she will head over to the wizards library and see there is any useful cantrips she can copy down in her spellbook.
After having rested, Adray will make his way to the mess hall and grab something to eat as well. Having just missed Choir, he'll eat with anyone that's available then wait at their appointed meeting spot.
