Whether the Duke's group went left of right first - they definitely visited both places. The left corridor brought you to the big oval room - a clear Ossuary. The walls of this chamber are lined with funerary shelves, each set with dusty humanoid bones. Relics and holy symbols of Lathander, Torm, Helm, and Tyr have been set prominently on a number of shelves. Choir could recognize some names: the bones marked by holy symbols are the remains of honored priests and acolytes who worked in the chapel, and who requested to take their final rest alongside the poor they served.
Lulu keeps in the middle of the group, trying (or may be not trying but doing it anyway) to cover everyone with her aura. She still did not like the place, but the feeling begun upstairs and even she is not able to tell if that particular chamber adds something to it.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Adray keeps up with the group going left. He offers a soft prayer of thanks that these priests had not been disturbed. "Lets keep it going, eyes sharp, lets not get complacent "
There are no visible threats (yet) and at first holy symbols around the shelves remained silent and unmoved (as you would expect, of course) but before party could leave that part of the crypt, every symbol suddenly pulsed with a sickly necrotic green light and the green wave washed over the ossuary, breaking around Lulu's aura, that sparkled radiant light. Little hollyphant gave a snort of disgust and kept in the middle, covering those around with her aura.
The next chamber is still lined by funerary shelves along the stone walls above six bare daises, creating a display of dusty humanoid bones rising from floor to ceiling. It looks as empty and peaceful as the one before. There are stairs leading east (with still barely visible bootprints heading that direction).
Adray gave a solid head nod to Lulu for blocking the energy. In response to Ordrag he says, "True but those bug demon things didn't look like they could fly so I don't think we are at the bottom yet. But we should be getting close."

"Mind the step," Choir says, starting cautiously down the stairway, mace giving off light, keeping an eye out for any dangerous places, traps, or crypt inhabitants. (Perception 13 )

The group descended into the next room. This rubble-strewn vault contained five marble statues atop daises. Four of the statues are unrecognizable now, as their features have been badly marred by rock fallen from the cracked ceiling. The fifth is a finely carved statue of a kneeling man.

The recognizable statue depicts Lannish Fogel, as seen in the stained-glass window in the Chapel above - a representation of the god Torm placing a golden helm on the head of a man kneeling before him. The upper part of the head of the statue looks paler, as if it was meant to wear a separate helm, but no such helm is present.

You can see a lot of demonic tracks passing through this area - from the rooms ahead outside, while the tracks of booted humans leading on to area ahead and do not return.
"Lannis Fogel," says Choir, gesturing toward the statue as she passes. "Has anyone seen my hat?" She supposes that one of the destroyed statues is Torm, and wonders if a gigantic golden helm has gone missing somewhere. She will keep an eye out for it. Chances are, it's being worn by some upstart demon lord.

Fran would have trailed the group closely behind Lulu to remain in her aura. The artificer was extremely thankful for her magic when those holy symbols pulsed with necrotic energy, though they couldn’t be out of the woods. And as Adray said, they mustn’t get complacent.
She’d remain silent and alert, appreciating everyone’s lead in their own specialties. It made Fran thankful to be a part of a team that worked together and communicated as they went along. She didn’t feel left behind even if she fell behind. The artificer would nod affirmatively in response to Adray’s rally.
There was only one exit from this room and all you could do is follow the boot tracks to the short corridor, descending for sometime and then abruptly turning and ending at the massive door, half open. Being opened completely it revealed a place for the most devout of Torm’s followers, a sacred chamber which they used to touch the mind of their god in search of answers and solace.
A shallow meditation pool fills this room, set off from a broad landing edged by a low wrought-iron railing. Wondrous frescoes along the walls depict souls gaining the blessings of Lathander, Torm, Helm, and Tyr. The frescoes on one wall have been twisted into abyssal forms surrounding a shimmering portal.
The pool is littered with the mutilated bodies of humans wearing the uniforms of Baldur’s Gate and Elturel. The swirling water of the pool roils with shadow, and is shot through with patches of black ichor where demons have fallen here. An armored man with a shield slung over his back crouches among the bodies, writhing in pain. His eyes are closed, and his hands clutch at a gold helm on his head as if trying in vain to claw it off. Unintelligible words spill from his lips, some sounding saintly and solemn, while others resonate with a cruel hissing.
Choir recognizes words of Celestial and Abyssal, but the speech (if it can be called as one) is incoherent.
The man and the portal are the only things that draw Ordrag's attention for the time being. Leaving the man to those with more skill, Ordrag rushes up to the lip of the meditation pool and stands ready to attack anything that emerges.
