The old hag said the truth - "dream" scratches were as painful as the real one. The monster attacking Lulu made a disappointing noise - golden fur proved to be a good armor, no more wounds appeared on Lulu's body.
Ooc: how did these ones attack? Melee, range? Assuming melee. If it was ranged then the attack that hit, Adray would have used his deflect missile ability to negate the damage (no need to roll as it blocks 1d10+11)
The momentary surprise came to fruition when the creature struck him. It still hurt in the dream but then the Hag had warned of that. Taking a deep breath Adray focused his attacks. He wanted to end this quickly and assist Lulu.

“Hey! No!” Polly shouts out, unsuccessfully dodging the devil attacking her. “Bad devil! No” The damage wasn’t too bad but it’s more than she wanted. (She wanted no damage and a nice green forest and to be done with this craziness... this was the wrong kind of dream for her.)
Still and all, one had to deal with the situation at hand. Narrowing her eyes and making some small, jerky movements with her hands, Polly whispered “diafol drwg! stopio a llosgi.“ and then thrust her first and third fingers at her attacker unleashing a Fire Bolt
Screeching flock of devils flew up - not all of them, the one in front of Ordrag puffed out of existence, so did the one, attacking Lulu, wounded by Fran's daggers and squashed by Adray's fists). There were only four of them, two wounded by Choir's and Polly's magic, but those four learned their lesson. They kept out of reach now - good 20 ft in the air, with devilish grace avoiding hits in the backs - looked at each other as if silently discussing tactic, and send a small cloud of needles:

One of the attacker suddenly disappeared with yet another "puff". As if by the signal, three remaining devils stopped their attack, all landed, kneeled before the group and offered to serve you if you spare their lives.
Choir is grateful for the plate armor she picked up--those needles would have zipped right through the holes in her old chain shirt, she is sure. She looks with some consternation at the devils. Everything she ever learned at the temple has taught her that devils are unreliable servants, only waiting to trick and betray you. On the other hand, it might be useful to have someone around who knows the territory...if they do. "Better the devil you know?" she says uncertainly to the group.

Polly is suspicious of the entire affair. "Has a deal with a devil ever turned out well?" The small gnome backs away from the kneeling devils, wanting some distance between her and them.
Adray side remained firm in front of Lulu and knocked one of the spikes out of the way.
Using reaction to knock the spike out of the way with defect missile.
With them kneeling, he looks at Polly while moving forwars. He looks over to Ordrag and nods his in their direction while his his had curled into a fist. When he moved into position as well. He struck out with three blows.
Classic pirate move - Ordrag knew it well. Taking the cue from Adray, Ordrag moved in slowly as if to accept surrender, and then lashed out with both weapons.
Fran barely had to try dodging the needles, they just bounced off her armour. She’d dust it off.
Catching the pair coordinate an attack against the devils, Fran would smirk. They good. Taking her own ‘cue’ from it, the artificer’s eyes would pan around alert. She’d reload her crossbow and prepare to defend Lulu should any of the missing devils reappear.

Kneeled devils did not have a chance and with their destruction the dreadful landscape around you, filled with thick, black smoke and the smells of death and decay, faded to black.
Though only to be replaced by the similar one. Now you wander a vast, barren landscape of utter devastation. Black sludge rises rapidly out of the ground, enveloping your feet and gripping you tightly, overwhelming you with a horrible sense of loss.
“Don’t let the sludge consume you!” says Mad Maggie’s disembodied voice. “You must push through her defenses. She must look!”
"She" must be Lulu - but she is nowhere to be seen, though that sense, that presses you down, is hers, and it is up to you to shake it off. But how? Each of you is restrained by the black sludge, that is pulling you, trying to envelope in eternal darkness.
