"Here." Fran will reach out to Adray's 'new' cloak and mend it for him.

Adray, stops as Fran reaches out and in all seriousness looks back at her and says, "What?  Does this make my butt look fat."

Polly shivers as she opens the book. She tenses for a moment, ready for anything and hoping to god she isn’t cursed. When nothing happens she relaxes and start reading through the book. This is something she needs to study later, together with the other books. 

“There is nothing in here that will help us, just a spellbook. So we can continue.”

Adray manages to break Fran’s stone look with a smirk of amusement, “You were giving a free peep show.” Referring to the blade slash she just mended in the robe. She’d be ready to move forward with the others. 

Choir renews the light spell on her shield again and covers most of it with her blanket, wondering whether they will continue south past this room, or go back to the watery door.

Corridors, corridors, more corridors, doors: one to the right- and one at the end of that smooth curve and up a few steps. There are no sounds behind either. Not that you can hear, at least.

Stopping at the door and looking down the hall at the steps going back up, Adray says quietly, "we take the door, new tactic."  He waits for everyone to prepare and when all is ready he will knock on the door.

If said door opens he will stab who or what opens it.

As if laughing at the brave adventurers, when they were ready - dungeon gave them a finger in a shape of quiet empty room. The only inhabitant you could see in the weaker light of half covered shield was an ordinary rat, obviously looking for food in the stone labyrinth. The room had another exit - open one, you could see a declining corridor with high probability leading to another flooded compartment.

"Well, down to more water or up the curved steps?" Adray asks the others.

Choir points unhappily at the corridor leading down into more water, repeating Adray's own earlier words at him. "It might make sense to clear that out so less risk of having someone sneak behind."

She can almost feel her chainmail getting rustier.

Fran would prepare to sweep Polly off her feet should they continue down the steps into the next watered section. “Yeh. May as well keep chuggin’ along.”

"Alright, into the water we go." With that Adray continues to lead them down the hall into the watery corridor.

When Fran Scoops up Polly to enter the water, Polly will keep an eye out for anything that might sneak up on them.

Stealth approach here was not necessary either, it seems - the room past the door looked empty as well. The flooded, rubble-strewn tunnels leading to and from this room narrowed to a width of 2 and half feet in places. Four rotting wooden beams rise from the murky water to brace the ceiling here. Rubble piled in the northwest corner contained nothing of interest.

Another water filled corridor and another room. The air here stinks particularly nasty and "mold-ely". Murky, foul-smelling water surrounds an open stone sarcophagus resting in the middle of this crypt, its stone lid lying broken in three pieces under the water north of it. Exposure to the dampness has rotted the bones in the sarcophagus, reducing them to black sludge.

Choir peers down into the sarcophagus. It doesn't seem worth disturbing the sludge unless there is something really, really special at the bottom. She can't resist poking the remains with her warhammer and moving them around a little bit.

Investigation 12

The response was immediate: suddenly the air above sarcophagus thickened and shaped into a ghostly battleaxe, vibrating and slowly turning around as if in search of a target.
