Owis was not that useless - just lost amid glass, dust and collapsed bricks. Fortunately, the building had stone walls and you should not have expect fire any time soon, but those down there definitely would not be able to get out by themselves.
Owis disappeared for a while, seeking his way among the rubble but eventually Polly could see through his eye a scary picture:
There are three dwarfs - armed and armoured, it seems, but caught by surprise and now stuck in what probably was a cellar, or part of it. One is in particularly bad situation - a big block of the collapsed wall crashed on top of him, the man can barely breath.
It will take an effort to get whoever there is out of there.
Mechanics:
Skill check encounter. DC 10. Meaning - you do what you think can help to save the dwarves, roll for it using an ability you are proficient in once, the result should beat DC 10. Six successful rolls - victims are alive and well, three fails - victims are dead.
A creative way (magical or not) of cleaning the whole mess at once also counts and could result in automatic successes.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ordrag doesn't have any creative ideas, just muscle and the determination to lift and throw as many rocks off the rubble as quickly as possible.... Athletics15

Fran will be sure to send the young girl off with some rations and a swig from her waterskin before sending her off in care with the other children.
Recognizing the dwarf language, Fran would hop too with the others. She'd pull out her tinker tools as she rushes in after the others. Combining her tinkering and medical knowledge, the artificer would begin analyzing the layout of the rubble and guestimating the weight distribution and pressure points. Her eyes would frantically scan, trying to keep visuals on the trapped victims. "Aye! That one first! No. Not that one yet!" Fran would direct the boys which hunks of rubble to move first as to avoid causing a collapse or crushing the people. She also wanted to focus on keeping airways clear and reduce the amount of dust and debris being kicked up. "Lemme just... prop this up here so it don't move..." If she can safely inch her way in the rubble, she'd pull out her tinker tools to prop up and stabilize debris around the people, and/or provide leverage to assist Adray and Ordrag to lift large chunks of rubble.

"If it's not one thing, its another." Adray muttered. Then like the others, he ran towards the noise. He looked around at the other. Without a word or comment from him, they had run towards the noise, the chaos. Despite it all, he gave a slight smile, because regardless of whatever happened, he is with good people. Reaching the edge of the building he dove right in line. "Alright, lets move some rubble," he said more to himself and began to sling rock.
Polly focuses her mind. This will be unlike anything she has tried before. She take out a bag of powdered iron and throw it in a magic circle and start an incantation and cast Enlarge/Reduce to shrink the block of wall laying on top of the dwarf.
she choose not to cast it on the dwarf in fear of hurting him.
The team worked as if everyone's main occupation in life was to digging people out from under collapses. Trapped dwarves, realizing their calls were heed and help came, did what they could to prevent further collapse of the loose blocks. The final touch with shrinking the weight, killing one of the victims, impressed all three of them. They crawled from the ruins with the caution of the people used to the mason work, dusted themselves, and most ceremoniously expressed their everlasting gratitude, then introduced themselves: "Strovin Ironfist, Kart Boulderstern, and Velkora Ashenwell at your service."
Kart - the dwarf "from under the block" looked a bit too pale under the layer of dust and dirt, and at the attempt to bow almost fell down. Velcora immediately interrupted her speech and with words of some prey (well too familiar to Choir) put her hand on the Kart's head. Colour returned to his cheeks and Velcora explained: "I am an acolyte of Moradin. We all were sent here from the High Hall two days ago to see how that side fares and help to whoever we can find. Instead got suck - first escaping a pack of ghouls, and then that..." I think it's time for us to return". She examined the groups quite mixed composition and added: "Should you go the same way, we would be happy to accompany you".
The way to the bridge was opened and slowly and cautiously you approached the last opening. The riotous din of the battle taking place far below the city is louder here, echoing up and through the jagged open chasm.
A bridge twenty feet wide and more than a hundred feet long spans the chasm. Holy runes etched into the stonework of the bridge indicate that the structure has been consecrated in the name of Torm - one of the most benevolent god of courage and self-sacrifice. Now, on this very stones in the middle of the bridge stood guard six devils (you can see two bearded devils and at least four spined devils , scanning surroundings in all directions. They did not spot you yet (Haruka made sure kids are staying back, and all thee know better than make any noise) but they are ready and waiting.
"Glad you're all fine," Adray says and continues.. "Names Adray and we are heading to High Hall with some civilians but..." He looks over to the devils on the bridge. "It seems our way is blocked. If you are capable warriors we might be able to take them together but it will be a risk."
“What is the plan? It will be very dangerous to take them on in the open, especially with the kids.”
Oh I forgot to react to the first half of the post xD
“I’m amazed that you have been able to survive for so long here. How have you done it? I’m Pollymorpha by the way, but you can call me Polly and his is Owis. Over there is Fran and her mecha dog Brutus. The big guy is called Nibs and the bird is Choir. She is really cool!” “We just fought a gang of ghouls just now before we came to help you.” then she proceed to shallowly tell them about their exploits and about the High Observer.
“So what is the plan now? It will be dangerous so fight those devils head on. Especially with the kids around. I could try to get them to come over here and lay an ambush.”
"Torm," says Choir, pointing at the bridge. She's pretty sure Torm would not like the devils standing on it. Unfortunately, she has no connection to Torm, and is unsure if the god would listen to a prayer from her, or would (or even could) interfere with devils standing on his bridge in hell. "Fog," she suggests. "Thick as pea soup. Can't see me hand in front of me face."

Ordrag looks up at the mention of fog. There's an idea. Two ships can pass within yards and not see each other if the fog is thick enough. Then to Choir he asks: You reckon you can make enough for us to try to slip past 'em?

“If you can make a thick fog, then I can make a scary sound, like a dragons roar and make it seem as if Tiamat is close by or something!” Polly chip in exited.
Choir considers, and tries to observe whether there would be enough room on the bridge for Fog Cloud or maybe even Sleet Storm to allow them to slip past unnoticed. Of course, Polly frightening them off or using an illusion to further hide their passage could help a lot...

There are definitely several voices calling out and cursing on a mixture of Common and dwarven there.
