M1 save 5, M2 save 4
That was a very brave move from Adray - the creatures were obviously not some mindless zombies, their eyes were cunning, moves - deliberate, and one of their weapon - the unbearable stench - was only stronger in the proximity.
(Adray, a DC 10 Constitution saving throw or be poisoned until the start of your next turn.)
They did not drop down right away, but Adray's fists and boots left a serious dent on both hairless bodies.
Fran's attacke, though, helped to even the odds a bit - M1 "died", this time permanently, M2, however, was still standing, and other two made it around the table. They could not surround the monk, but they could attack, though one chose Ordrag, who entered room first:
M2 vs Adray Attack: 13 Damage: 11
M3 vs Ordrag Attack: 23 Damage: 8
M4 vs Adray Attack: 21 Damage: 8
Only one managed to reach Adray, but the claws of the creature felt as hot knives slashing the skin.
Adray, in addition a DC 10 Constitution saving throw or be paralyzed for 1 minute.
Ordrag's move, then effect of Choir's turn undead will be applied.
Ordrag annihilated - no other word to describe the flurry of blade and warhammer blows - M3. (Though, he did inhaled the stench of the creature as well (Ordrag, a DC 10 Constitution saving throw or be poisoned until the start of your next turn)
All Choir had to deal with were 2 pale ugly walking corpses: M2 save: 2, M4 save: 16
One undead suddenly stopped attacking Adray, and turned around as if about to flee, but another one turned to Choir now, opening mouth full of sharp - even to look at - teeth and testing the air with enormously long tong.
This was the moment when Lulu finally realized what is going on inside and joined the fight as well. She flew straight to the ugly creatures and made an earsplitting trumpet sound that probably could be heard around the block or two, but also practically melted skin of the undead 17 : saves M2 7 M4 3
M2 turned into a pile of bones on the ground, M4 was still standing, but probably not for long and looked like he did not need turning undead to try and run away.
Adray is barely able to choke back his vomit from these creatures. Their stench was other worldly for sure. He managed to toss out some punches and kicks while holding his breath. If he couldn't finish them then he knew the others would.
Two attacks - and the last undead was dealt with. Stinking remains on the floor somehow (necromancy, no doubt) stopped assaulting the sense of smell that much though the stench was still terrible. Human remains at the dining table (it was a human- a very young man) was still wearing armour (you could see the quality even from the distance), and hold a backpack in what's remained of his hand. Ghasts did not bother to strip it off.
Now, when it became quiet, you could hear a faint crying coming from a cupboard.
Fran will sideglance the gear on the body, but as soon as she'd hear sounds from a cupboard she'd approach it. Using her foot, she'd hook her toe under the door to open it slowly.
Two big round eyes of a young girl with absolutely terrified expression in them met Fran's gaze. The girl made a sobbing noise again and covered her mouth with even greater terror on her face.
The child looks terrified, and Choir worries that the approach of a giant bird-person might not help matters. For now, she leaves the child to Fran and quietly says a prayer over the remains of the unfortunate subject of the undeads's lunch. She will also consider carefully whether the corpse is still complete and well-preserved enough to pose a danger of becoming undead itself.

To the eyes of a cleric (and the one who recently saw more undead than most of the people heard of them), the corps looks like a corpse - some necromancer could probably still raise it, but it would not go anywhere by itself any time soon.
Lulu immediately flew to the little girl, happy that her trumpeting was of any use and not for a moment concerned that her look can scare anyone.
Haruka cautiously glanced inside, but immediately got out - she did not want the kids to look at the mess of rotten flesh and half-eaten bodies. As much as they could be used to terror, the less, the better.
Ordrag will take a look at the body and it's gear, to see if there is anything to identify the young man. No doubt tragedies like this occurring thought the city, but if can bring closure to some grieving family, then that's something. Also if anything useful then no point leaving it behind.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
How does a red dragon blow out the candles on its birthday cake?
The armour looks quite valuable (studded leather armor, but far from simple), the backpack is a classical explorer’s pack, and Polly could spot a belt pouch holding a potion.
Adray found a spare cloth and wiped off his hands as Fran and Lulu made to console the frightened child. Adray moved to begin stripping the armor off the young man and said, "We mean no disrespect taking your armor or gear but these are troubling days and if another can wear it and kill some evil, then I see no greater way to honor your memory."
Once the armor is removed and stowed away he says, "Great work, but we must continue. It's dangerous to stay here to long. Let keep making our way to the bridge."
Polly will pocket the potion and hand the backpack to Haruka, she might need it more then they did. Then she is going to look closer at the armor. It Might be something they can use later.
Fran had no weapons in her hands and with a couple of cracks of her knees, she'd crouch down to the child's level. "I. Uh. Sorry teh frighten yeh young one. Name's Fran. This here is my friend Lulu." She'd lean aside to allow Lulu to show herself and spread her warming presence to the child. "We took care of the baddies, fer now. We be carrying on, but have other kids with us. Would yeh like to meet them? Come with us?" The artificer would offer her hand to help the child out of the cupboard.
The girl grasped Fran's hand like a drowning man holds to the wooden plank and let Ruby led her out of the cupboard. Still holding Fran's hand, she looked at Lulu with surprise slowly calming down. She looked up at Fran's face "I am Shorah. I do want come with you! I will behave, I promise!"
Fran would obviously have to walk Shorah out, since it's unlikely the girl would let go of her hand here. But the girl looks relatively unharmed (very thin, dirty and most likely hungry, but not wounded) and can move with the party. At this point not even big half-orc could scare her anymore, yet alone one kenku, Shorah would have to bit killed to leave the party.
Outside nothing changed during this short encounter - hot, smelly, scary and too red to be anyhow enjoyable. Haruka was only too happy to take the girl from Fran's care, but eventually kids were left to Lulu - Haruka had to point the way.
Few minutes later, slowly growing party had to cross a wide street - there was no way around it. There was no devil's patrol on it - not in a visible range anyway, but when party was in the middle of the street, a quake rocked the city and a building collapsed before your very eyes on the side you were going to. When party came closer, everyone could hear cries for help emerging from the rubble.
