Reya did not look like someone used to break ins of any sort, but the city and the situation probably took their toll and she was ready to pay with her honer and pride to learn the fate of Thavius Kreeg. "Do you plan to get back inside,, if you need a special rest? It did not look like we all are welcome there anymore."
(The gates to the Upper City are about 20-25 min walk from here)
"Polly just needs a little bit of time to focus and gather her mystical energies and what not. Heck, she can piggy back off me while we get Fran's supplies."
Yeah, probably won't get back in here again. Besides, that wine tasted funny. How about us go rest at the Elfsong? That's on our way to the Upper City.

How does a red dragon blow out the candles on its birthday cake?
Polly opens eye from her meditation when she hear Ordrags comment “That is actually a good idea. I want to ask Alan some questions about the elf spirit residing there.”
To Reya any tavern in Baldur's Gate was worth another and she simply followed you to the one you liked. Elfsong greeted you with the same late evening noise as any other semi-respectable tavern of Lower City would - murmur of crowd, mugs clinging, rattling of dice and occasional cursing or scream of excitement - the usual.
Alan sized a newcomer - Reya - and probably judged her as a nonviolent enough to get a first freed drink here. He recognized your group and nodded as to regulars. The spirit is silent at the moment but the song is not something you can expect at particular time anyway.
Polly goes up to the bar and greet Alan with a smile and with cheerful voice she orders a glas of wine. “Have you heard anything new from the spirit in the last couple of days Alan? Or found out anything about what she sang about? I would very much want to know what she meant with the song.”
"Was I supposed to be looking," smiled back Alan accepting a coin for the wine, "sorry, friend, have other business to care about. Hoped you, lot, could dug up something, though that song never repeated. Some even tried to plead with the spirit but to no avail. May be it was for you and only you? Wait here, see if it will be repeated but I would not hope for it."
“Ah, I see.” Polly say disappointed “Then it is good that I head a good memory. I can recite it for you, or if you ask nicely, maybe Choir can sing it for you. She can mimic anything she hears. To bad though that it hasn't said anything new. It probably know what happened to Elturel. Do you know how to get in contact with it?”She looks hopefully at Alan.
She taste the wine, to sour for her sweet buds. She mutters a few word over the drink. It shimmers slightly and now taste like the wine that is served back home.
Unless Ordrag sees anything that catches his eye in particular, he will take a seat at the table, put his feet up and relax ... and ask if anyone has a few nibs to spare for a drink...

There is nothing and no one particularly eye-catching. There are a few faces that look a bit familiar, but it's hard to tell - later days were quite eventful to remember every one you came across.
Alan shook his head: "Sometimes we have elves here, who claim the spirit sings by their request. Never tested it on purpose, and not going to - this tavern is my livelihood, I would not want to loose the main attraction."
“I’ll loan you the money. Be sure to repay me when we get back. “ she say with amusement in her voice.
once everyone has ordered what they want she ask them again. “So when we get to the villa I could use my mage hand to lift Owis up onto the wall and scout from there. What do you all think about that? Or do tou have something else in mind?”
"No," Adray says while taking a drink, "I think that is a good plan. Owis has proven to be a good scout and we should use him. I think he will work for scouting an initial breech point but we can't use him for every room. The longer we are there, the more clues we leave to notify others we are there." He pauses and takes another drink thinkin to himself. "I think we should use masks when we are actually inside. It would leave less ability for them to identify us at a later date."
”Then it’s settled. Lets finish our drinks and get going” Polly say and has a hard time hiding her excitement and dons the eyepatch she got a few days earlier.
“Oh! Why don’t I make one or two of us invisible? That person can scout the way for us much faster.”
Before sneaking out (or in), though, the group had to overcome a quite open obstacle - the Old Wall, that divided city into two parts: the Upper City, home to the patriar aristocracy of Baldur’s Gate, and the Lower - the peasants, pirates, bandits and other lowlife commoners that did not get a title yet. Entering the Upper City requires either being a patriar, having a patriar’s letter or livery, showing a Watch token issued to the Upper City’s residents or licensed to its few inns for guest use, or paying an entry toll. Tokens and tolls are only accepted at Citadel Gate (leading to the Watch Citadel), Baldur’s Gate (the only true public gates connecting Upper and Lower city), and the Black Dragon Gate (the one leading outside the Upper city on the road to Waterdeep), since the other gates are reserved for the exclusive use of patriars, their servants, and their guests.
For Flaming Fist it is less of a hassle - sure, the Upper city is in Watch's jurisdiction, and they would not tolerate interference from Fist, but the Dukes do rule over the Lower city as well and Flamig Fist can have a legitimate business within Upper City even at night time.
This is the darkest hour of the night, and the "sleepiest" as well. Still, as the group approaches Baldur’s Gate, you can see a couple of guards vigilantly peering through the darkness - an unavoidable barrier on the way to the Vanthampur's Villa.
Looking at the guards, Choir scratches her heads and searches for the right words. "Know how to get in. Day or night, there are going to be people...servants...invitations. Get one. We can make. What I need to do it. No worries bro! I got this."
Choir has always been extremely good at copying documents and signatures. It was a talent she had kept hidden at the temple, because she didn't want to join the monks who sat around all day copying books.

”I’m starting to see why they call you nibs..” and she toss a coin to him.
“What did you do with all the coin we got in the bath house?”
er ... me left it at the FF place. For safekeeping.
