Reya was looking at Choir in disbelief. Like anyone around she knew kenku can not lie it voice recording but things coming out of Choir's mouth were ... well, very hard to swallow. "Wait, I ... I need to think about it... Elturel is in Hells?! Why... How?! What can possibly angry the gods so much they destroyed the city? Should it be that wretched place, Baldur's Gate of yours - I would not be surprised a bit! May be it is still standing only because this is 10th level of Hell itself and you can not sink lower." Oh, how much I wish I could talk to that Mortlock! He clearly knows more... But searching for him while... "
She looked at each of you as if deciding something: "I do not care about Vanthampur's family business with a Dragon cult or Flaming Fist, but they have Thavius Kreeg, the High Observer of Elturel. I saw him with four guards dressed in Vantampur's colours, escorting him into the villa. It was from afar, but I would recognize the High Observer anywhere. As any other Hellrider would do". She raised her chin, looking at you now with a challenge in her eyes "yes, I am the Hellrider and my honour is unquestionable!"
'Baldur's Gate of Yours'? As if! Choir's feathers stand up in indignation. "Elturel!" she says, pointing at herself. "Elturel!Elturel!Elturel!"
Getting hold of herself, she adds, "Thavius Kreeg, the High Observer of Elturel...Prisoner...I vote we kick these guy’s behinds!" she finishes in Polly's voice.

Fran would have merged with the group and sauntered over with them during Ordrag’s introduction, but would remain silent for most of the conversation. Even though she’s been spending lots of time with Choir, she’d still be amazed when she’d speak in recordings of others. She’d simply gesture to the kenku to communicate a ‘what she said’. Truthfully, they couldn’t really sum it up any better than that.
Fran would nod in thanks to Choir for the refresher and smile at her dub of Polly before turning to Reya with her hand out for an introduction, “Hellrider Reya, name’s Fran.” She’d Bow her head in a respectful greeting, “Sounds like we got some mutual business to attend to.”
When Polly hear she is a hellrider she mumble the second verse of the song that the spirit sang.
”So you are a hellrider. I have read about tou in my history lessons at the university. It’s an honor to meet you.”She take in Reya once more. “So how are we gonna do this? I agree with Choir that we need to help save Thavius was it? But I don’t busting in the door is the way though.” She smile a Choir.
0 sing a song of Elturel When foes are at her door Her fields torn by cloven feet From some infernal shore. Arise the mighty Hellriders Take up your swift, keen swords Then charge into the hellish fray And scatter devil hordes.
"You ... you are elturelian? Why are you Flaming Fist then?! Do you know what they do to refugees?!" To her credits Reya was realistic enough (or spent enough time in Baldur's Gate) to judge relatively fair. "No surprise, of course, considering how they here treat each other. But should you see what I saw..." She sighed and told the full story of her arrival here: "I was training a few miles north of Elturel when the city vanished. I could not believe my eyes when I watched the Companion’s light going out, turning black as the city appeared to crumble and sink below the horizon. Still can not get that horrific image out of my mind. I returned to Elturel to find a crater where the city once stood. There was nothing there anymore, just lost scared people stumbling around. I lead a group of them to Baldur’s Gate - where else could we go? In a hindsight, probably anywhere else would be better, but we did came here. Before the Flaming Fist closed the city gates, we managed to sneak inside, but didn’t get far before a group of Flaming Fist soldiers confronted us. They demanded payment, threatened to arrest and ... Well, the refugees scattered, and I stayed to let them escape. Fists attacked - I had to defend myself! I wounded one of the soldier with my sword, then fled to stop the fight and not to kill them. I have been a wanted fugitive ever since."
"The Captain said Amrik went to his villa. And Thavius is there too - that much I know. At day time I was able to get to the Upper City and saw the villa from a distance. I do not know what to do, just that if Flaming Fist hunting even me - Thavius is in great danger and I will do anything to save him!"
”I’m sorry for your loss and no I’m not from Elturel, but I think Adrey is. I was on my way there to study when I too saw it sink down. I had just used up my last resources to boot. So I didn’t have a choice in coming here. I was among the refugees when a guard saw me using magic and threaten to throw me in jail if I didn’t join Flaming Fist...” Polly say. “As luck would have it, I was placed in a group of good people.”
“Maybe we shouldn’t take you to the HQ then. Do you have somewhere where you can stay?” She ask Reya.
“And as for your friend. What are you going to do now?”
Well, we didn't get what we came here for, reasons Ordrag, so me reckon us need to dig deeper. If Amrik didn't run to mummy's house, then someone else there will know something, and us will get them talking.

"I will be fine, I managed to stay hidden so far. I think I will try my luck sneaking to the villa. Not my ... forte - the sneaking. Still, do not see any other options. At the day time even I can get into the Upper City, hopefully, there will be a place to hide until night."
She looked at all of you thoughtfully: "But if you know so much about that family, why don't you simply go there and arrest them all? You can pass the Watch even at night - they will not stop you. At least I saw Falming Fist come and go through the gates to Upper City at any time - yes, I watched, what else could I do?"
“That is probably true. No one would stop us, but without irrefutable evidence we they would just turn us away. They are after all one of the top noble families. But maybe we could work together. Saying you are with us to get you past the gates. The we can come up with something to get into the villa. It wont be hard to get in there, the hard part is to get out I think.” She turn to the now gathered group. “What do you guys think? Any suggestions?”
Adray thinks for a moment, his hand on his chin. "I think we could get into the Upper City, but I don't think it will be easy to get into the Villa, not unless they want us walking into a trap. Amirik saw us tonight and could recognize at least me, Ordrag and Polly, and with that thing that wasn't an imp," he says looking at Reya. "I bet it's reported our likeness to the family... But doesn't mean we can't try. Might require some subtly... not our specialty."
"Oldest brother, Thurstwell, uses imps as spies throughout the city. He has the bathhouse under surveillance and probably knows you're here," Choir reminded them of Mortlock's warning, and pointed at the sky and the dead seagull that Ordrag had so recently used as a devastating missile. "Lucky crow!" she added, in the unlucky gambler's voice.

Expression of the highest degree of disgust after Choir's words slowly went off from Reya's face (though for some time it looked like she would have to use hands to make it more civil). "Imps, spinagons, cults...," she had to swallow and shook her head, "How can one in charge be openly entangled in all that! This city needs more than a cleansing - it is in a dire need of purging!" "Glad you are trying to bring some law and order here. If you did not tell me before you are elturelian, I would begin to suspect it now."
"I would not refuse your help. Or help you if you prefer to see it this way - my sword and my skills at your full disposal. I can bring you to the Villa, but I am afraid I can not tell anything about it other than obvious: I saw guards - so, we can expect them there and probably on patrol (if they truly expect us now), I saw horses - so, there has to be a stable somewhere inside - I suspect it is part of the north wall, because there is a 12-foot-high stone wall enclosing the Villa with three wooden gates — the main entrance and a coach gate to the south, and a postern gate to the north (probably the one close to the stable)."
"Have to add, The Watch might patrol the whole Upper City as well, not only guard the gates."
”We can go investigate tonight, but I will need an hour of meditation to recuperate my magical energy. In the mean time, why don’t you guys come up with a plan of action?” See looks at Reya and Adrey in particular “It seems like you have a good foundation to work with from the information Reya has provided.”
Ordrag suggests they take their rest, then go recon the villa before coming up with a plan. Can't rig your sails before you know which way the wind is blowing.

Choir nods. It is more important to do right than to be legal. And Akadi would approve...probably. She didn't actually care much about being right or wrong, for that matter. But she must be annoyed that her greatest temple was sunk in the Nine Hells. As much as the goddess of air preferred her worshipers to move about, following the winds, she could NOT want them in the Hells....it stank there, Choir had been told, stank of brimstone and burning flesh and singed hair and worse things.
